Swainson on Lexington is the epitome of comfort with a balcony overlooking the park and a barbecue at the backyard patio with an outdoor dining set for six. An open plan living/dining space with a modern and spacious kitchen is perfect for families or groups looking to enjoy a lovely night relaxing together. On a sunny morning, open up the curtains and enjoy the natural light beaming in from the windows. To bring the outdoors in, open up the sliding glass door and savour the breeze.

While downstairs has the open plan living area of dreams, a walk through laundry and small half bathroom off to the side, upstairs includes four good sized bedrooms, the main bathroom with a bath-tub, and an ensuite.

The bedrooms all fit with spacious wardrobes, also have large windows to help bring in fresh air and natural light.

Providing only the best professionally laundered linen and using disinfectant cleaning products, our trained cleaners will prepare the apartment to impeccable standard.

We offer free cleaning of the apartment (valued at $70) during your stay to anyone who books for 7 nights, or longer, at least 28 days in advance.

You will be provided with a digital guidebook detailing the check-in process and all of the additional features included in your accommodation.

Check in is at any time after 2pm and keys will be in the letterbox.

All bookings require a $500 bond to cover any damage caused to the property. The Security Bond will only be released after full inspection of the property upon check out. This is to confirm there has been no damage to the property, no missing items and no excessive cleaning is required.

We allow cats and/or dogs only. Per the listing, an extra damage deposit of $250 per pet applies and only pets up to 10kg are allowed inside. Any pets over 10kg must be kept outside. Pets must stay downstairs (make use of gates on stairs) and sheet(s) provided must remain on couch(es) for protection.

To help keep prices as low as possible for our guests, we make up the number of beds dependent on how many guests book so there may be an extra fee to request more beds.

Lovely clean property with great heating

Lovely spacious property. Great for family gatherings. Master bedroom is lovely and quiet. Sound proof from kids rising early. Great park across the road to exercise dog. Park also has a playground for kids. We were there through a very cold snap in Adelaide so that heating was fantastic.Could do with more cutlery and crockery. Not enough cutlery for everyone. We found the mattresses a bit firm, but that’s personal preference. And would have loved a tv in the master bedroom. Looks like there was one there but has been removed. Great area close to beach.Would definitely re book.

The house has so much potential - it’s in a fantastic location, is a great layout, and being pet-friendly is a huge plus. It could be a really great place with the right management. Unfortunately, our stay did not meet expectations and would not recommend to family or friends.When we arrived, it was clear the property hadn’t been properly prepared. Only four towels were supplied despite the home accommodating eight people, and the outdoor spaces, particularly the upstairs balcony and backyard, were in poor condition, covered in dust and bird droppings. These areas clearly hadn’t been cleaned for some time.The kitchen was also understocked, with limited cutlery, a handful of mugs and glasses (some still dirty from previous guests), and not enough utensils for a group. The outdoor bins were already overflowing on arrival, leaving nowhere to place rubbish until collection day.The property itself shows signs of wear and tear, with holes and scuff marks on the walls and an overall sense of neglect. For the price point and potential of this home, the experience was disappointing. The furnishings feel very budget-conscious and lack comfort, which is disappointing for the property’s price and potential.Though some issues were addressed during our stay, the home still needs significant attention to detail and improved management. With a bit of investment and care, it could be a truly great place to stay, but as it stands, it’s not meeting basic expectations.
