One of the best kept secrets on the Eastern Shore of Virginia, Captain’s Cove sits directly on the Chincoteague Bay, just 25 short minutes by car or boat to Chincoteague and Assateague Islands, where our wild ponies roam free. Looking for some OC excitement? Ocean City, MD is a short 45 minute drive away. Here, life takes a slower pace - sipping wine as you watch the sun sink into the Chincoteague Bay, or the joy you feel watching the kids catch Crabs off the dock. You’ll love relaxing in the Living Area after a fun-filled day at the Beach or the Pool. With a Wall of Windows to the Water, comfy Furnishings, and incredible Views, you may never want to leave. Enjoy Free WiFi and Brand New Flat Screen Streaming TV, or turn it all off and hang out on the Waterfront Deck, and just BE…..Listen to the Tree Frogs chirp in the evening, and watch Herons, Egrets, and Eagles fish for their morning meal while you sip coffee - pure paradise. There’s even a cozy Gas Fireplace for those chilly Off-Season Stays - one of our favorite times on the Eastern Shore.

Bliss by the Bay has an awesome Open Layout perfect for spending time together without ever feeling crowded. Just off the Living Area, you’ll find the Dining Area with a large table that seats 6, and a very Well-Stocked Kitchen, that’s sure to please the Chef in your family. With tons of Countertop Space and every gadget you could need, mealtime will be a bay breeze. Not one to cook on Vacation? No worries - the Marina Club Restaurant is just around the corner, where you can listen to live entertainment many nights, and dine Waterfront with amazing Sunsets!

This awesome Beach House sleeps 6 more than comfortably in 3 Bedrooms, and all Bedrooms have a Brand New Smart TV. Bedroom 1, the Primary Bedroom, is on the Main Living Level and has a comfy Queen Bed, Private Access to the Waterfront Deck, and an Attached Full Bath with Tub/Shower Combo. Wandering upstairs, you’ll find 2 more Bedrooms and a 2nd Full Bath. Bedroom 2 is decked out with Nautical Navy and Crisp White, and has another Queen Bed. Bedroom 3 is perfect for the kiddos with 2 Twin Beds. Full Bath 2 also has a Tub/Shower Combo.

As awesome as your stay will be inside Bliss by the Bay, we can’t wait to tell you how much fun you’ll have playing outside this wonderful home! If you’re not spending time on the upper Waterfront Decks, you’re sure to be trying your hand at fishing or crabbing, right in your own backyard! If you’re a Boater, you’ll love dropping the Boat in at the Cove’s Marina (Fees Apply), and tying up at the Bulkhead behind the house. Our waters are good for all sorts of watersports including jet-skiing, fishing, kayaking, swimming, crabbing, clamming, or simply sunbathing.

Captain’s Cove is loaded with amenities - a Golf Course, Indoor Pool, 2 Outdoor Pools - 1 Bayfront with Tiki Bar, Fitness Center, Playground, Restaurant, and Snack Bar. Guests may purchase Amenity Passes ($15/pp per day or $75/pp per week) for the pools by the day or the week, and must be purchased in advance.- contact us for more information. More of a beach person? One of the most gorgeous, cleanest beaches in America, Assateague Island National Park, is only 20 minutes down the street, and is also home to our Famous Wild Ponies! Or take your boat to one of our awesome sand bars for your own private slice of Paradise. Whatever your passion, you’re sure to find it at Bliss by the Bay!
