ONLY is right on the edge of the racecourse offering adynamic inner city culture that's both luxurious and contemporary, taking in the food culture, Royal Melbourne Show and a host of annual events.
Favorite haunts around Flemington include Mama Bear Cafe, Hardiman Hotel and Doutta Gala Hotel for pub grub. The Kensington bowls club is right across the road for a craft beer and a game of bare foot bowls. Laska King in Newmarket or Hem 27 for an authentic Vietnamese soup kitchen on Epsom Road.

Great Stay

We stayed in this property while our house was being renovated and it was great. It is a clean apartment with great city views. Martin was a great host who was very responsive during the stay for any questions we had.

Perfect for our needs

Martins apartment was perfect for our stay while attending an exhibition at the Showgrounds. Easy walk to Showgrounds, restaurants, shops, river trails. Communication was always prompt - apartment was clean, comfortable bed, good shower and amazingly well equipped. Would definitely recommend to others and stay again.

Everything was great except the check in and check out process. Had to pick up and drop off key from a supermarket which wasn't within walking distance (with luggage). Would be much better if they left keys with one of the two receptions in the building or installed a key lock like most places.

Jeff As with all my guests i send a detailed message prior to check in after you confirmed you would arrive by Uber My message states that the keys are located at a IGA 600 mtrs and you should put a STOP in the Uber app being IGA and a final destination being the apartment building. Within 5 mins of me sending you this message you responded that 600mtrs was a long way to walk with luggage to pick up keys . I suggest that you never actually read my initial message properly. I then sent you another message re-explaining how to use the STOP in the Uber app to pick up and drop off the keys You were also given my personal mobile phone number and told to call me before or during your stay in you needed any assistance, you at no point called or txt me . In regards to your comments re keypad entry to the apartment, well that would be fine but you would still need to pick up a FOB from IGA to access the building entry doors/ carpark/ lifts and pool deck Further comments re there being 2 receptions in the building and keys should be left with them Concierge desk in main foyer is for building management, under no circumstances do they hold keys for any private apartments , and they are not there 24/7 regardless The second “ reception “ is Quest Hotel and they don’t hold keys for apartments either There is no expectation that anyone needs to walk 600 mtrs to pick up keys. I will be asking STAYZ to remove your 2 star rating and “thanks” also for the 3 large boxes you left behind.
