Bear & Birdie's Modern Stylish Cabin offers the perfect mountain escape for couples or small families. Enjoy the coziness of the cabin, and bring along your furry friend as it's pet-friendly. With Snow Summit Ski Resort walking distance away and 1 mile from the Village and lake, there's something for everyone. Relax by the fireplace, cook in the fully-equipped kitchen, and unwind with a movie. Make memories in this stylish, cozy mountain escape with easy access to everything Big Bear Lake has to offer.

- Walking distance to Snow Summit Ski Resort (also Summit Bike Park) and the National Forest Towne Trail (an easy 2 2/3 mile hike round-trip through woodlands with periodic views north over the lake and the surrounding mountain peaks)
- 1 mile to the dining and shops of charming and lively Big Bear Village!
- 1 mile to the Lake
- Sleeps 3 comfortably with a 1 car driveway for parking
- Maximum 2 dogs allowed (no cats or birds)

The place is all yours. The city and our space only allow parking for 1 vehicle and there is no street parking.

The entire property has 2 cabins and 2 separate hot tubs.

We have a free trolley stop steps away near Carl's Jr. and you can find schedule and real-time trolley tracker on the mountain transit website.

In an effort to keep the entire property more secure, we have installed outdoor cameras facing the front doors and driveways of the property.

Grill : We provide a propane gas grill, the empty guest is responsible to refill at DIY Home Center or local gas station. Thank you!

The cabin was perfect for my sister's birthday get away to Big Bear. All the amenities that you could as for, great private hot tub, full stocked kitchen and fenced yard area for my dog! No pet deposit was very appreciated! Pull out sofa and sheet issue was resolved quickly due to hosts efficient response late in the evening, thanks Heidi. Just a friendly note the light fixtures (ceiling fan and fixture) upstairs did not work. We would definitely recommend and stay again!

Close to everything!

We enjoyed our stay at this small cabin. It was clean - and the location was quiet. Big plus was it was close to the downtown village, shops, restaurants as well as the lake.The cabin also has a large dog run in the front yard. The owner responded quickly to emails. We would stay here again.

Absolutely great

Beautiful and clean! Very welcoming cabin in a peaceful environment. Very close to all the amenities that Big Bear Lake has to offer, including biking, kayaking, and hiking. Also very close to the Village area. We look forward to visiting again soon and booking this spot again.

The place was great. Check-in requires stopping by an office nearby. The bedroom was warm even with the fan on high, but it was a great stay.

Puppy Cabin

We stayed here because it was dog friendly and also really close to where my family was staying! Me and my partner, and doggie stayed here. We came later than check in but was able to check in via talking to host. I have a really anxious dog so I was worried about the stay. It was really nice! The gated area in the front is perfect for the puppies! The Cabin itself was perfect for 2 people. Everything was really clean and they even had a portable ac upstairs for when it got hot. They had streaming services logged in for guests. Our doggie felt very comfortable here.

Awesome cabin stay! ⛰

This was an amazing stay in big bear. The cabin was clean and well equipped, even had some small snacks and coffee. Loved the front yard for our fur baby and the nice porch. This location is central and close to everything from the village, the lake and nearby trails. Heidi was a great responsive host and even in an unforeseen circumstance took care of us during our vacation. We made many memories with our family here and look forward to staying again. We already miss the Big Bear community area and this beautiful cabin and neighborhood. Thanks again!

Great location, tight layout, funny smell

First the good. The unit is in a great location, close to Snow Summit and the downtown area. The hot tub was warm on arrival and private. Nicely decorated and well appointed house but it lacked any clothing storage on the main floor, leaving me living out of my suitcase, which is something I try to avoid by getting a VRBO instead of a hotel. Also as small as the cabin is having clothing stacked in corners made it feel even smaller. My brother slept in the upstairs bed and said it was comfy. On to the less good - The pull out couch/bed was comfy as well and was easy to operate but sadly it did not have any sheets and my call to get some was met with an "I don't know" and no return call. I ended up using a few throw blankets that were in the cabin but it wasn't ideal. And now the bad - The house had a very distinct smell, like bug spray. We had the windows open almost the whole 3 day stay and it never really got better. Also the check in process is cumbersome. You have to go to their office, only half a mile down the road, to check in and sign in. I didn't see I was supposed to call ahead and nobody was there, after a few unreturned calls they arrived and from then on check in was very easy. Just don't forget to call ahead. All that to say I enjoyed my stay but would look for something larger on my next visit. Would be fine for a couple who didn't need the sofa bed but I can't imagine having 3 people there. Lastly Cabin A seems to be much better than B as it has a patio.

Cozy cabin

Loved how cozy and welcoming this little cabin is. Also super close to restaurants and lake. Kitchen was equipped with essentials for cooking baking and barbecuing. Shower essentials were included. Overall Amazing stay will definitely stay again.
