this is a nice townhouse and a quiet location, with a quick walk to the beach. The kitchen and dining room are quite small. The bedrooms, living room, and back deck are very nice! The check in and rental experience was fine, and we enjoyed being here!

A dog-gone paradise!

The townhouse and its location is awesome! We took our pup and our family, and everyone felt like we were at home. The walk to Publix and the shopping center is just as close as the walk to the beach. We were able to mosey over to the waterpark a couple of days too.

Very nice townhouse. Location to everything was nice. If you are planning on bringing a boat don’t. This place does not really have a place for boats. Had to park and detach the boat from vehicle in there overflow area.

We were here to see our Son a Marine at Camp LeJune. It was a sweet place to meet. Loved staying there with our son his wife and grand baby! Loved the location close to the beach. ❤️

Beach visit with my Dog

Rented this townhouse and spent 5 days. The beds and furniture were comfortable and the kitchen had enough equipment for us to make light meals at home. It was very nice to be able to bring our dog along with us and he enjoyed the beach as well. I was pleasantly surprised that this dog friendly rental had no sign of previous pet stays - all was clean and odor free. The only equipment that could make this rental better would be a set of beach chairs.

We had some tailgating chairs for the beach, but they took a toll the previous season and had to be tossed; sorry we didn't have replacements in by the time you stayed this year.Please come back and stay again!!"

Great location, missing household basics

Location was great!! Short walk to beach, grocery stores, and restaurants. It was great home for our group of friends and our short weekend trip. We enjoyed hanging out in the living area and out on the back porch. Our only complaint was the lack of household supplies, including hand soap for the bathrooms, paper towels, and garbage bags, all things advertised as included in the listing. Additionally, the water dispenser on the refrigerator was not functional.

TRULY pet friendly

Property was very clean and as advertised, very short walk down quiet road to the beach. Next best thing to beach front and way more affordable. Not that you could tell by the cleanliness, but the house is clearly owned by dog people. We still made Gus stay on his best behavior, but it felt like he was welcomed as a canine guest not just tolerated, and that was nice! A broom available for sweeping up the inevitable sand would be my only request. Thanks for the great stay.

A perfect quiet getaway

The place was clean and looked just as the pictures suggested. It's only a short (and pleasant) walk to the beach. I had a few questions, and the property manager was more than helpful. We did have a mix-up with not having a parking pass, but the time of year I stayed meant that it really didn't make much of a difference. I hope a backup parking pass isn't tough to acquire in the future.

Good location but needs a deep clean

We had difficulty with check in. The directions emailed and texted didn’t match, the door lock battery was dead, and no exterior lights worked.After an hour we finally got help fron some very nice people who let us in. This is the first vrbo property I've stayed at that had peeling cabinets, peeling furniture, and toilet seats worn through. The shower curtain in the master bath was disgusting and mold covered. The listing says that shampoo/body wash are provided but the containers aren't labeled as to what is what. The walls, windows, baseboards, doors all need a good wipedown. The location is easy access to the beach and other community amenities. The deck had some pretty moldy furnishings and is not closed off as the picture suggests and my family didnt feel comfortableusing it as there was a camera pointed at the deck. .Its nice that there is a dog park nearby (not fenced).

Hi Candi, we want our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we apologize you experienced some issues during your trip. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following: - We provide the contact information for the property manager who is always willing to resolve any issues while a guest is at the property. The property manager did not receive any complaints from you regarding cleanliness issues while you were at the property. If you had shared this they would have done what was necessary to rectify those issues immediately. - The check-in pack is given to each guest when they stop by the SunSurf office. This packet includes the door code and required parking passes for the property.- We apologize if there is a bit of wear and tear on the cabinets and furniture. We will be doing some maintenance as soon as we can.  The items you mention are still in very good condition and a little wear does not affect the function.- We checked the coffee table and there is no mold it is merely a little wear and you can see the wood showing through. We have painted the coffee table.- We apologize that the shower curtain was not replaced by the cleaners. We have since replaced this.- The shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are labeled. The print at the top of the bottles are small, but they are labeled.- We have our cleaning crew keep an eye out to ensure anything that needs a deep clean is thoroughly cleaned but we have guests who toss their bags against the walls, we can't control this.- We have had a very cold and dry season at Emerald Isle and this is not the weather that allows mold to grow. The Polywood chairs are less than 1 year old and on a covered deck and are still in excellent condition with no mold. The deck is not closed off; if has stairs to the backyard. Nothing in the listing implies the deck is closed off.- We have a security camera pointed at the back steps for security purposes and if a guest chooses to do so they can unplug it while they are at the property.We are confident that future guests will have excellent stays as we are accustomed to delivering.
