This clean and cozy 3-bedroom, 2-bath home features natural wood accents, lush plants, a comfy leather couch, and very comfortable beds. Enjoy a fully stocked kitchen, a fabulous dining area for evening dinners, fresh linens, a washer and dryer, and plenty of games for both kids and adults. We enjoyed our stay in this cottage in Emerald Isle. Roomy, comfortable, clean. One challenge is the very steep driveway.

Lovely hideaway in a great location!

I can’t say enough good things about this house! So adorable and bohemian, not to mention the close proximity to beach access, restaurants, and shopping. Would totally stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay I thought that the house was exactly what the name describes, the hideaway. The house has some really great vibes. Someone has put a lot of work into the details and decor of this little hideaway. We hope to be back again!

Just lovely

My wife and I had the best time here. What a gem and such a lovely home. So nice to have the whole place to ourselves and there was so much room to relax and enjoy the space. The plants were a nice touch we both really enjoyed. We will be back!

The place is decorated beautifully & Amy our property contact was great. A/C system including the 1 window unit was unable to keep up with the Extreme outdoor temperatures our 1st 2 days (Set to 71 deg But only cooling to 79 deg) & the other days it cooled sorta okay. Wasn’t a lot to be done to correct the cooling issue. Amy said window unit was new. I wonder if a more powerful one could benefit or rectify the situation. Still loved our trip.

Cozy beach house for a small group

The house was clean, well decorated, and well stocked. There were plenty of comfy seats, a tv in all bedrooms and the living area, and lots of kitchen supplies. The area had lots of shopping and restaurants to choose from, and a short walk or ride to the beach.

Loved the decor

Enjoyed our stay. The place was clean. I liked the location and loved the decor. It’s very boho! The floor plan is ideal for 2 couples or for one couple with kids because it provides privacy which is nice!

Although the fish didn’t cooperate we had a blast. The property was AWESOME and Amy and her husband were GREAT and very accommodating SUPER nice and the property was extra clean and had everything thing we needed !!!!

Amazing

We brought our two young adult children with us for the week, the home was the perfect size for us, allowed everyone to have some space and also to spend lots of time together. The home was so comfortable and clean and a great place to cool down during out breaks from our many outings around the Crystal Coast. Thank you for sharing your place and we can't wait to return!

The bedroom with the canopy bed was beautiful. It was so comfortable! The plants were a nice touch also. The house was well stocked. Since our vacation was during the Thanksgiving holiday we decided to cook our meal there. There was nice cookware available. We had plenty of cleaning supplies & laundry supplies on hand. We have no complaints at all! Hope to be able to use this rental again!

Nice deco. Needed more towels and wash clothes. Need some way to wash the required dishes other than a sponge and running water. Had nothing to dry them with. Beds were comfortable. Location was close to ocean.

It was fun, but...

We didn't realize this rental was a renovated mobile home, which took us by surprise. Because of this, there were some uneven flooring areas and steps indoors, which isn't an issue for most, but I do have physical limitations due to a medical disability and they were somewhat problematic. We were not given a code for the lockbox, but lucky for us our travel experience in a similar situation worked in our benefit so we were able to access the door key. We had terrible weather for our stay, and the owner messaged us with great ideas of things to do locally, which was super helpful, unexpected and kind. Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Hideaway, and enjoyed the fabulous decor.

David is the hands-on talent who brings those ideas to life. A true DIY master, he builds, fixes, and crafts just about anything to make our spaces both functional and beautiful.
