à propos de cet hébergement
Aurora Lookout by Tiny Away
Summary:
Welcome to Aurora Lookout, a stunning off-grid tiny house NSW getaway nestled on the slopes of Broads Mountain. Our unique holiday homes boast two charming tiny homes, nestled on 110 acres of Australiaâs Mid-North Coast. Surrounded by pristine surf beaches, rainforests, waterfalls, and farmland.
Enjoy sweeping 180-degree views of the Yarranbella Valley extending to the ocean, making it a perfect year-round getaway.
The Space:
Aurora Lookout by Tiny Away, meaning sunrise, is named after its elevated position near the easternmost point of Australia, offering breathtaking views at sunrise. This property features two holiday homes, with "Aurora Summit" positioned at a higher elevation, boasting spectacular views of the coast, and providing the ultimate pleasure of waking up to the sunrise here.
Every morning, you can experience the breathtaking view of the sunrise and be one of the first people in Australia to witness it. A delightful retreat close to Bowraville and Macksville, both just a 10-20 minute drive away. It's also conveniently located near top attractions on the Mid-North Coast like the Urunga Boardwalk, Valla Beach, and Rotary Lookout.
If you're in the mood for a scenic drive, you can explore the beauty of Nambucca Heads with its charming river estuary, visit Scotts Head for its gorgeous beaches and great surfing, and discover South West Rocks, famous for its historic Trial Bay Gaol.
It's a 139-square-foot tiny home with easy water access, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities (e.g., an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and gas-heated shower).
If you plan to spend your tiny house NSW getaway here, we advise that you bring your basic necessities, such as food and water during your stay with us. As there is no local rubbish collection service you will be required to take your rubbish with you. Thank you.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Please advise that there will be a second tiny house, "Aurora Summit" that sits on the same property, approximately 100 meters apart. One is lower than the other one so the cabins cannot see each other but they are only a 2-minute walk away. If you want to book in groups, please contact your land host 24 hrs in advance to make arrangements.
Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny home and its surroundings.
GUEST NOTICE < PLEASE READ > :
Please take note that this tiny house is an off-grid unit that runs on solar energy. We advise guests to conserve energy during the day and only use it when necessary. Overall, minimal consumption is advised to prevent power outages when using solar power.
As an added note, in times of heavy rainfall while the new roads firm up an AWD or 4WD vehicle may be required.
The Neighborhood:
Aurora Lookout by Tiny Away is located in the serene town of Yarranbella - North Coast NSW, with Bowraville and Macksville just a short 16-27 minute drive away. These nearby towns offer opportunities to explore local eateries, shops, and supermarkets.
Our local recommendations:
- The Main Beach of Numbucca offers sand, surf, and a beautiful estuary.
- Muttonbird Island offers spectacular views of the Solitary Islands where you can explore the areas's Aboriginal cultural significance.
- Urunga Boardwalk takes you along the river for several hundred metres before taking you out to the sea to see birds flying overhead.
- Coffs Harbour Butterfly House offers visitors the opportunity to stroll amongst hundreds of live Australian butterflies in an indoor subtropical rainforest setting.
- Rotary Lookout offers panoramic views over Twofold Bay and land-based whale-watching locations on New South Wales' Sapphire Coast and Eden's Sapphire Coast.

- Bellingen, Coffs Coast makes the perfect base to explore the natural attractions along the scenic Waterfall Way, including dramatic waterfalls, World Heritage-listed rainforest, and river activities.
Food Scene
- Elk on 38 offers delicious food, awesome cocktails, and friendly service in a contemporary chill-like setting.
- Scoop Doggs is a unique restaurant that combines both gelato and sushi, creating the perfect blend of brunch and dessert.
- The Bridge River St. is a lovely restaurant in Macksville, situated along the river with old-style booth seating, great meals, coffee, and chai lattes.
- Ben and Lenny's veteran-owned and operated coastal takeaway shop offers charcoal-roasted chickens, classic burgers, and the thickest shake on the Mid-North Coast.

Important note:
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the cassette toilets and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
