We absolutely loves this place!! We didnt want to leave!! If we needed anything they were right there. My son played in Cooperstown tournament, even tho its a 35 min drive it was well worth it!! Great price for stayđ Thank you Peter and Robin for a great experience!!
We were in Ilion visiting family. This was an incredible find. You had all the creature comforts of home. The kitchen was great. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were wonderful. I have stayed in B&Bs before in this area. We were so lucky to find this. We will be back. The cleanliness should have 25 stars. Highly, highly recommend.
We couldnât be more pleased with our entire experience. A beautiful upgraded place to stay. Love the antique mall and the nice ladies that work there. The loft has to have been recently remodeled. The bathrooms and kitchen are wonderfully modern. If you get a chance make sure to stay here. Loved it.
Stayed here with some other moms from our baseball team playing at Dreams Park. While it was about 30th minute commute the park we would not have rather stayed anywhere else. We were comfortable. Not confined. Peters condo was immaculate. Comfortable. Felt like home after a long day at the field.
The loft was everything described and so much more!
The loft is large, beautiful, and fully furnished. It could easily accommodate a large family. We were a family of five and had more than enough space. The beds were very comfortable as well. I appreciated the wall art along with the many antiques.
Finally, the owner and manager were always accommodating and helpful. All of my questions were promptly answered. We traveled every day to Cooperstown to watch my grandson play baseball. It was nice to have comfortable place to return to each night.
I highly recommend this rental.
Had a wonderful time in Mohawk staying at the Utica Club. The condo was very clean and well stocked. Everything in the condo was in excellent condition.
This rental was perfect for driving down to Cooperstown for the Baseball HOF and for our friends to watch their grandsons baseball games.
We also took several scenic motorcycle ride around the area. All the roads were in great condition and excellent views.
Strongly recommend Brimfield Farms Winery and Prospect Falls Winery. Also recommend Baggâs Square brewery in Utica. While at Baggâs Square go across the street to look at Utica Union Station.
For dining we recommend Crazy Ottoâs Empire Diner for breakfast. The bacon gravy is excellent. We went there 4 times and the last few trips we were ordering extra sides of the gravy.
Dinner at Waterfront Grill was very good, just a couple blocks from the condo.
The Undercover Eggplant Co., is a good place for lunch if you are near the Cooperstown All-Star village.
Only two small issues the condo does not have its own washer and dryer. There is a nice laundry facility on the same floor. The change machine was broken when we were there so we had to stop at a bank for a couple rolls of quarters.
The second issue had to do with the area, which is a little run down. Young adults seem to hang out waiting for rides at the condo entrance. They were all well behaved and quite personable. We just made sure our vehicles were locked.
We could not have chosen a better place as our home base while my grandson played baseball in Cooperstown! The drive from Mohawk to Cooperstown every day was beautiful and Peterâs apartment is a perfect place to relax at the end of the day. Comfy beds, hot showers, fluffy towels, reliable wi-fi, big TV, and a great couch with recliners to elevate swollen feet after a long day of walking from field to field! The kitchen was well stocked with starter items of paper towels, coffee filters, dishwashing soap, sponge, dish towels and dishwasher soap. I walked next door to the Dollar Store and bought coffee and creamer. Thatâs all we needed to settle inâŠand so convenient!
Peter is a great host! He and his wife came by on our 2nd night to welcome us and he is a wealth of information about the history of this town! Just wish we could have visited with him more before leaving. We found a hidden jewel here that anyone visiting here MUST try.
Itâs called Asteroga Ale House and not only is the food fabulous, the service is exemplary! They are a local restaurant and they welcomed us as regulars after the 2nd time we came. They hugged us after the 3rd meal we enjoyed with them! Other than our team not winning ONE game in the tournament, our stay could not have been better. Thank you, Peter for being the perfect host!
We rented this unit as our son was having a baseball tournament in Cooperstown week of July 21. We all were pleasantly surprised when we walked into the unit. Immediately noticed how clean and updated the unit was. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything you needed for cooking. The bedrooms had very comfortable mattresses. The bathroom was very comfortable, clean and great shower. What initially caught my attention to rent this unit was it had Central AC. Being from Florida, this is a requirement for us. The owner was very nice and easily reachable. Laundry facility which i used frequently was very close to the unit. Will definitely come back to this unit whenever I return to Cooperstown.
First time to Mohawk. Went for my son's Cooperstown baseball trip.
The place is fantastic. The owner was just as good. If I ever go back, I will be hoping to stay here....
Absolutely amazing! Peter was very kind and made my 1st NY visit an awesome family memory! đ€
I was a little apprehensive because the loft was connected to an antique mall but after the 17+ hour drive from Alabama with kids and no sleep, all of that went out of the window as soon as we stepped foot into the loft! It was so nice and clean! The pictures on VRBO really donât give this hidden gem the props it deserves! Wooden floors, modern contemporary appliances, huge televisions...honestly I could have stayed there the entire time without leaving! The master bedroomâs bed Iâm pretty sure was laced with lavender or some sort of sleep aid because my husband and I were out within mins of laying down...and Iâm an insomniac! I recommend all who have a chance to visit Mohawk or Cooperstown to BOOK THIS PLACE! You wonât be disappointed! Thank you again Peter for making my NY stay the best! đ€
Robin and Peter have managed the Mohawk Antiques Mall for the last 6 years. They reside in the Hudson Valley and have other properties that they rent out and manage.
They also have developed a love of antiques and they spend many weekends at the Mall socializing with many of their local friends and colleagues.
The Mohawk Antiques Mall is centrally located right off exit 30 of the NYS Thruway. It is ideally located with easy access to Cooperstown, the Utica area, the Herkimer Diamond Mines, as well as many other antiques malls and emporiums.
This factory loft is a modern and stylish 3 bedroom apartment. Stay here for a week and enjoy the local restaurants, the many points of interest, and spend time visiting the MOHAWK ANTIQUES MALL located right in the same building!
