Hazards Escape - the Short Stack

Hazards Escape is located on a large internal block 5 minutes drive from the township of Coles Bay and comprises 2 separate dwellings which we affectionately refer to as the "Top Shack" and the "Short Stack".  The Short Stack is the original Hazards Escape, it's a tidy, compact little unit that sleeps 2 and has been a popular choice with visitors for about 15 years.

The Short Stack is fresh, simple, & a perfect spot to base yourself while exploring the Freycinet Peninsula & greater east coast region. A free standing unit next to main house on private property, 5 mins drive from the village of Coles Bay. Ideal for double or single accommodation.

There is no view from the unit. It's a pleasant outlook & cosy deck, a glimpse of the hazards; you're a short walk from a beach, but if you are looking for a hero shot from your balcony, you might like to keep looking.

Perfect for a single person getaway, or a quiet retreat for a couple. The driveway, yard and access ways are shared with the main house (the Top Shack) but there is adequate privacy between the 2 buildings so that you will not see each other unless both "out and about".

Our water supply is solely rainwater, caught in private tanks. We are very grateful if you can be mindful of water consumption as we are in an extremely low rainfall area. We try to avoid buying water too often, not only for the cost, but because we love being able to enjoy, and offer, fresh tasting, untreated water.
