This was a great place to stay.
There were a few communication issues however customer feedback was welcomed and attended to.
This is a small cosy place to stay with stunning views.
Great property and totally recommend for couples or family of 4. Communication with host poor as did not get checkin procedure confirmed until day of arrival even though I had emailed twice with no replies.
This is a compact little unit with the very basics required of a self contained unit. The views are great and a short walk to Coles bay general store and fish and chip shop. We had several correspondences with the property manager including regarding dirty dishes left in the dishwasher which although a swift response was received in each instance the tone was very officious in nature and left us with the impression that there was very little within their realm of responsibility, including the dirty dishes. From a health and safety perspective I find that astounding.
All the ratings are correct but there isnât one for furnishings. The bed is possibly the most uncomfortable weâve ever slept in, the doona is second rate and has discoloured, and the blankets need updating. The living room couches are past their use by date (my back was hurting after the first of four nights). When charging these prices all the furnishings should be gorgeous, the cost to upgrade would probably total about $5,000. The bathroom/laundry are great and the kitchen is fine. The gardens and driveway let down the wonderful position of the property.
Greystone cottage is very well situated in Coles Bay. Beautiful views of the Hazards, close to shops and cafes and Wineglass Bay cruise departure point.
The cottage is quite small but has everything you need. The woodfire was wonderful on the chilly evenings and the electric heater sufficient at other times.
We struggled with the lack of bench space in the kitchen and the small fridge as we were self catering for 3 adults.
The single beds had electric blankets but the QS bed didn't for some reason.
Cleanliness is very important for me when I stay somewhere and especially when the accommodation isn't at the budget end of the market. This property was clean but could do with a bit more detailing under beds and the around tiles and cabinet in bathroom and toilet.
Overall an enjoyable stay.
Definitely will be coming back as our two nights here was not enough! The unit was very neat and tidy and the view was beautiful. Only thing that would have improved it was that there were no privacy blinds, only block out and our unit was directly viewing the parking area (and beautiful Lake further on) so we felt a little exposed at times.
Great experience, easy booking process, great communication with the property manager.
Everything clean although no oven.
Incredible view from the bedroom! Loved every minute of the stay! Thanks
