We were very disappointed with our stay. When we arrived, there was garbage left on the kitchen counter and the bathroom clearly hadnât been cleaned â there were hairs in the bathtub, on the floor, and in the toilet. Even worse, there were hairs on the bedsheets, which was very unpleasant. Both the kitchen and bathroom sinks were clogged, and when we contacted the host, his response was dismissive. He told us to use the bathtub for dishes and wasnât apologetic or proactive about fixing the problems. Only after we escalated to VRBO did he then say he would come the next day to unclog the sinks. On top of that, the towels smelled unpleasant when wet, and the mattresses were extremely uncomfortable, making it difficult to get a good nightâs sleep. The only reason Iâm giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because the host did eventually fix the sinks, but overall the cleanliness, comfort, and lack of care made this stay very disappointing. I would not recommend this property.
You pay for the price, place has an old vibe atmosphere (if you like vintage) needs some dusting on surfaces. The murphy bed was a little bit of struggle for us to set it up, the metal part of the foot of the bed is a safety hazard we keep on accidentally banging our foot, I suggests it needs a foam wrap for future clients safe use.
booked as a last minute one night stay. cleaners were in the unit when we arrived at 4:30pm. unit included dirty towels and dishes. wouldn't recommend unless this was your only option.
Studio was as advertised. Location was great, parking great and relatively quiet. Some of the kitchen ware was dusty/dirty. In the washroom, there were no small towels. The leftover shampoo/conditioner/body wash containers that looked used and old and wasn't interested in using the products that perhaps 2 dozen other parties had their hands on.
Very nice place for 1-2 people, cheap and basic with not a lot of space to move around. Quick walk to buses / grocery store and whilst a minimal kitchen, cooking your own meals is still doable. Good for sleeping and cooking but if youâre looking to spend time inside opt for a bigger place. Responsive host, easy check in and well priced
Note that there is no bedroom at this property, there is only a Murphy bed in the living room. The ad says it sleeps 4, but 2 would be sleeping on a pull out couch a foot away from the bed all in one room. There is a small kitchen but no oven or stovetop if you plan on cooking. The building itself is a little more run down than I was expecting for the price. You can hear the neighbours above and beside fairly well through the walls.
The main issue I had was the host did not send any info about checking in other than a code to the front door of the building. Not even a room number. I was unable to get ahold of him until I called Vrbo support and they reached out to him directly. I was at the property for around 2 hours before I was able to get into the room.
