Base of Blackcomb Condo - You Can't Get Much Closer to the Mountain!
You don't get any closer to the base of Blackcomb than this! Just steps to the Blackcomb Gondola. Unit completely renovated top to bottom in 2021. Bright and cozy 3rd floor unit with a queen sized bed in the bedroom and a bonus double sized pull-out couch in living room. Two fully renovated bathrooms, one with a shower and the other with a shower/tub combo. Small kitchenette has two-burner induction cooktop, microwave, full sized fridge with drawer freezer, and dishwasher. Also available for your stay are a Keurig single cup coffee machine, kettle, "magic bullet" mini blender, and toaster. Full set of dishes, glasses and utensils are provided for your stay. Complex has a year round outdoor heated "plunge" pool, hot tub and a gym. Step out of the complex and you are a 10 minute walk to the Main Village in one direction or to Lost Lake in the other direction. During the spring/summer/fall months there is a farmer's market right outside the complex on the weekends. Also during the summer the kid-friendly adventure zone, complete with mini-golf, rock climbing and other fun activities, is right outside the complex! During the ski season, park your car (or arrive without one) and walk 100 steps to the Blackcomb Gondola. Getting up the hill has never been easier! A great place to stay in any season, close enough to everything Whistler Village has to offer but also in a quiet area surrounded by nature!
We have stayed at Le Chamois many times but this is by far the nicest unit we have stayed in. Beautiful Reno and well laid out for our family of 4. Pull out couch is comfortable, Bed is great. Kitchen has everything you could need. It was spotless when we arrive. Will book again!
A lovely spacious flat with excellent quality fittings and furnishings. The extra bathroom is a bonus. Beds extremely comfortable. The use of the swimming pool and hot tub also a bonus. Nice quiet location in the Upper Village.
We stayed at the property for 5 nights. This property is located at the base of Blackcomb and was an easy walk Whistler Village. The property was very clean and was what we expected based on the description provided on the listing. Would definitely stay here again.
Communication was great, checking in was easy, garage was a little tight, but manageable even for our full size SUV. Unit is cute, comfortable, and very convenient to elevators and, most importantly for us, very close to the gondola. Would certainly recommend.
Beautiful modern condo with all the kitchen amenities. Love the two bathrooms. Gorgeous huge windows let all the views in. Ashley was very responsive and a delight to work with. Would definitely rent from her again đđšđŠâ€ïžâ·ïž
This property was a great place to stay for our January trip. The location in Blackcomb Village was very convenient to access post-skiing activities, the mountain itself, and both Blackcomb and Whistler Villages. Ashley provided all the information we needed to check-in and access the buildingâs amenities. The condo had ample space for three adults. I will definitely look to rebook this on future visits to Whistler.
We've vacationed in Whistler 20+ times (some years twice) and have rented whole chalets, stayed at hotels, and condo style units. Ashley's place however beats all hands down. Ashley was a great and responsive host. Location in upper village, proximity to gondola, ski storage location and cleanliness and amenities of the unit were TOP NOTCH. Just book it!
A very clean, neat and convenient place to stay with a lovely view from the windows. The bed is extremely comfortable and I had the best sleep ever. Itâs in a quieter location than the village centre, but still has lovey shops, restaurants and bars very close by. The base of the Blackcomb mountain is on your doorstep, and there is a brilliant Sunday Market just out side the back. The hot tub is an added bonus with lovely views. The Cultural Museum is 5 minutes away. Ashley is a perfect host and I would definitely want to stay here again when I return to visit my daughter. Everything is top quality.
The condo is in a perfect location. Within a 10 minute walk to Whistler Village but far enough out itâs super quiet in the evenings. Itâs close to local trails that are easy walks. The unit is spotlessly clean and had all the things you could need for a stay. The host is super responsive. I was surprised there wasnât a list of âchoresâ to attend to before checking out as most VRBO hosts ask that you take care of several housekeeping type things. However this unit we were only asked to take out our trash. It made for a very relaxing check out but I tend to leave rentals as clean or more clean than I found them so of course I did the same for this one.
I'm a mom of two young girls from North Vancouver, BC, about 2 hours south of Whistler. I've grown up spending big parts of my childhood in Whistler, and have seen it grow from having one small grocery store, to having it's first ever fast food restaurant and first ever quad chair to the amazingly diverse year-round outdoor wonderland it has become!
Our unit is located at the base of Blackcomb. We love the fact that you are within walking distance of just about everything but you are not in the heart of the main village where it can get quite busy, depending on the time of year.
We love our unit. We fully renovated the unit in 2021, making sure we created a comfortable and inviting space when visiting Whistler for us as a family of four. We are located on the quiet side of the building and we love it! Whenever we are lucky enough to spend time in Whistler we love parking our car in the underground and walking or biking everywhere during our stay!
