Welcome to our cozy and family-friendly basement in the beautiful area of Clayton Park. Bus Terminal station is 6 mins walk. 5 mins ride to Chain Lake business area (walmart, costco, theater, etc)15 mins ride to downtown and waterfront.
Safe area with parks, lakes, and trails.
Our place contains 1 bedroom with queen bed, Bathroom, full kitchen, washer machine, dryer, microwave, TV and sofa bed (double size).
The property has separate entrance with street and garden view. Free street parking.

This was a great location in a quiet neighbourhood within easy walking distance of the Lacewood bus terminal. Our host Ahmed was very accommodating. We enjoyed the four full-sized appliances and the comfy bed.

This in-law suite was a great place to stay. It was very comfortable, in a quiet neighborhood, with a private entrance. It’s location close to downtown was perfect.

I had a great stay! Ahmed was quick to respond to emails and answer any questions. The place was very clean and comfortable. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone!

This was.a great place to call home during our visit to Halifax. It had all the amenities we needed, was close to shopping and transit. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the hosts are wonderful people who are great with communication and ensuring you have everything you need to feel comfortable. This is a fantastic place. Very clean, washer and dryer, kitchen, bed is comfortable. It’s in a nice neighborhood that’s close to all needed shopping areas. It’s not downtown so the traffic isn’t bad. But downtown and waterfront are easy to get to. The host is excellent. Very attentive. Communication was very helpful. The host takes pride in his property and wants you to enjoy your stay. I hope this place is available when we come back again.

Great Halifax Location

We really enjoyed our stay in this location. We had a rental car so taking transit wasn't necessary. It is not close to downtown but that didn't matter because we were visiting family and friends. The apartment is clean and has all the amenities. The owners are friendly and helpful.

Great Stay

Had a great stay in this unit. The access to the apartment was very easy. The apartment is small but well designed. The accomodations are exactly as depicted in photos. Clean and very quiet. The living room furniture and the bed are very comfortable. The neighbourhood is very nice and very quiet and close to all amenities. The host, Ahmed, is very attentive and goes out of his way to make your stay a pleasant one. We would recommend this unit and will use it again.

The unit was clean and supplied with essentials. However, it was extremely warm. Two fans were provided but we picked up an additional fan to stay cool. We had windows open in the morning with the fans on to draw cool air in and were advised by the host that was not permitted and were not allowed to have fans going if we weren’t in the unit. In order to have a comfortable stay in the summer, an a/c unit would help keep guests comfortable.

I advised the guest politely to turn the fans off while not in house because they are not designed to run more than 8 hours, but the guest chose to close the windows and run the fans for 4 days which broke them eventually!!! In addition, the guest brought 2 more guest with her which violated the house rules and capacity and we tolerated that to show hospitality. The unit is well ventilated if windows kept open and fans are used.

Super clean and convenient!

The one bedroom is spacious and all the furniture is very comfortable. Ahmed was very gracious as a host and helped us set up the pull-out futon for our kids to sleep on. It was very firm and we could all sit on it to watch TV. He also provided helpful suggestions for restaurants. The full capacity washer and dryer worked beautifully for my family of 4! Great location: close to many restaurants and an easy 20 minute drive into downtown.

I spent 9 days in this apartment while I was visiting friends and family. It was a great experience. The hosts made me feel very welcome and were easily available if needed. I had a car and everything you could possibly need was a 5 min drive. It is in a very quiet neighborhood, and I felt very safe. It is centrally located for travelling around the Halifax area. It was a great place to come home to at the end of the day. It is a 15 min drive to downtown Halifax. You can access the highway easily to go to Peggy's Cove, the valley, Eastern Shore. I would highly recommend this apartment for your next trip to Nova Scotia and the Halifax area. Enjoy!

Comfortable with our stay in Halifax

Overall we were quite comfortable in our stay. Easy check in entry and exit. Good location to get to multiple sites outside of Halifax. Was quite handy having a washer and dryer in the unit. Ahmed did check with us to see if there was anything we needed.Minor items: Very small kitchen area even for two people so we didn’t use the cooking facilities. Though we thoroughly enjoyed having a fridge for fresh fruit, veggies and water. Having the fridge freezer was great to keep our seafood frozen after purchase, prior to packing to take home. We wouldn’t say the couch/bed in the living room is suitable for two people however we only needed it for one person. The person sleeping in the living room could hear water running, from upstairs, in the walls late at night which sometimes kept them awake. The wifi was very slow when it was available. The signal was very intermittent so used data most of the time. We did enjoy our stay in Halifax. Thank you Ahmed

Hi Gloria, Thanks for your review. We have received more than 30 families and you are the first one to complain about the kitchen! We have full big stove and all required kitchen utensils and appliances in addition to a big fridge. The Sofa bed could be extended to be a queen bed, we wish if you could have asked us or read the house rules guide to open it. We will check the WIFI, in future, if you have such complaints, please let us know and we will do our best to fix it. We do really care about our guests and we always make sure they have a wonderful stay in our home. Thanks, Ahmed.
