Good location nice and secluded. Close to water. Perfectly placed for activities. Property absolutely beautiful and sleeps comfortably for groups of people. We would stay here again.

Great stay

We greatly enjoyed staying at this property. It was perfect for us (family of six, kids aged 9-17). The two teenagers had their own rooms. The house is in a wooded area providing quiet and privacy. It has a small but nice yard, along with a porch, grill, and firepit. The kitchen was right for our needs.

Sturgeon Bay fishing trip

Overall the property met all of our needs. Very remote but yet still close to everything. We travelled with a boat and had several boat ramps within 5 minutes from the house. Navigating the driveway with a boat is possible but not easy. I would recommend and stay again.

Sturgeon Bay

The house was great and nicely appointed. Our entrance code did not work and I had to call for help. There was an ant problem and the oven was nasty looking and the handles were not attached-so I was afraid to use it. Otherwise it was a good place to stay.

Quiet stay in the woods

Our family stayed here for a week. The house itself was comfortable, though it appears it is slowly being updated. The bedrooms were all roomy with comfortable beds. The kitchen was well-stocked, but all we really used was the toaster and coffeemaker. Our only real gripe was the initial cleanliness as it appeared no one had stayed in the property in maybe a week or two. We also had some confusion getting into the house as there are three different types of keypads on the outside of the house. Management was very quick to respond though, and got us in door quick enough. The location is good - especially if you cycle as the house is located just off of Bay Shore Dr which basically gives access to the whole county by bike. Over all we found the property to be more than adequate.

Our biggest issue was Evolve Property Management.The home itself was spacious, but cleanliness and maintenance were disappointing. We found ants in the kitchen, bugs, spiders, cobwebs, stained mattresses, and an unmaintained yard.The beds were slightly comfortable, and there was one TV in the living room. Before arrival, there was no communication from Evolve. I had to contact them for check-in instructions and informed them we would be arriving around 2-3am after driving across the country with 4 children. I was assured 24/7 support was available. When we arrived around 3am our code worked on the exterior garage keypad but not on the interior garage door, front door, or back door. We were locked out. Evolve gave me another number to call.That person texted a different code, which didn't work, and then stopped responding. I called Evolve multiple times and was told they couldn't reach the owner for the master code. Their solution at 3:30am was for our family to sleep in our car, find a hotel, or cancel. I was promised a supervisor callback that never happened. During another call, I was placed on hold for nearly two hours while my exhausted family slept in our vehicle. Eventually, hours later, the property owner called with the master code. We finally got inside hours after arrival. No family should be stranded outside a rental at 3am because a management company doesn't have access to its own property. Based on this experience, I would avoid Evolve-managed properties.
