This home is very comfortable and provides all your needs. Beds were very comfortable linens were clean. Both bathrooms had necessities. We appreciated the private driveway. The view from living room was beautiful.

Beautiful and peaceful....

The house was beautiful, a perfect location for this part of our road trip. Plenty of space and lots of windows to enjoy views of the ocean and the surrounding wildlife. We saw deer and a fox, it was great! The house was more than we expected, the hosts added a few welcome gifts which were very much appreciated! Absolutely loved this home.......the weather was a little overcast but we still loved the location.

Great house!

We had a great time! Lots of wildlife, the hot tub was great, House was clean and perfect size for our family of six. It was close to where we went canoeing and horseback riding. And the ocean was amazing! Loved it!

This house is beautiful and the setting is amazing. The house was immaculate upon arrival and there was even a welcome basket! Checking in and out was a breeze and communication was very prompt. I’d highly recommend!!

Amazing and comfortable home with ocean views and walkable beach access

We just got back from an amazing stay in Irish Beach and absolutely loved this house! It was super cozy and had everything we needed. The beds were extremely comfortable—we all slept great. The couches and furniture in the living room were also incredibly comfy, perfect for lounging after a day out.The big deck was awesome for barbecuing and hanging out, and the little hot tub was such a nice touch. There’s a view of the ocean from the house, and the beach is about a mile walk away. Just a heads up: the walk is pretty steep, so it might be tough if you have any mobility issues. But Irish Beach itself is gorgeous—peaceful, full of driftwood, and never crowded.We also stumbled upon this fantastic hardware store in Manchester that had literally everything in case you forget something.Our host was super responsive. We’d definitely stay here again—such a great spot for a chill coastal getaway!

5 Stars! Fantastic Stay at a Dream Property We had an incredible stay at this stunning property! From the moment we walked in, we were struck by the immaculate cleanliness, stylish decor, and thoughtful touches throughout. The home is spacious and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. The views were breathtaking, and we loved sipping coffee on the balcony each morning while taking in the serene surroundings. The location is perfect—close enough to enjoy local attractions and restaurants, yet wonderfully peaceful and private. The hosts were extremely responsive and went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic experience. Every detail has been carefully thought out, making it feel like a true home away from home. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a luxurious, relaxing, and memorable escape. We can’t wait to return!

Won’t rent again

Nice house. Only adequate utensils for cooking. Only one garbage. There is NO key provided for the access road down to the beach! It is the only rental at Irish Beach that does this. So, if you want to get to the beach, you have to walk. It’s at least a mile walk. Very steep. The rental information omits this fact. I highly recommend finding a different rental.

Hi Grace, the right vacation home is everything, and we’re glad to hear you enjoyed your time at Irish Beach, even though the experience wasn’t perfect. After sharing your feedback with the homeowner, they’d like to address the following:– We wish you had reached out during your stay so our local Property Manager could’ve taken care of your concerns immediately.– The home has a fully stocked kitchen with all the essential utensils, along with key kitchen appliances and small appliances like a microwave, blender, waffle iron, toaster, and coffee maker, as listed. If there’s anything specific you’d like to see added, feel free to let us know, we’re always open to suggestions. We’ve provided garbage cans in the kitchen and bathrooms, as well as a large outdoor bin in the garbage enclosure, which is serviced weekly.– Irish Beach is elevated about 200 feet above sea level, and the city-maintained beach road can be a steep drive. Many homes in the area, including ours, don't provide a gate key, as hiking down to the beach is a popular option. We're adding this detail to the listing for better clarity moving forward.We do all we can to provide the best possible experience and look forward to continuing to host many satisfied guests.

OK, but missing something

When we booked this location it had zero reviews. Days before our trip a negative review was left, which scared us. We continued with our trip and enjoyed the house when we were there. It was clean and quiet. Our group was afraid to use the hot tub after the negative review that was left, so we did miss out. There are no extra towels or blankets to use so bring your own. There is zero internet in the primary bedroom ( the router does not reach), so I couldn’t use any device in the room if internet is needed . There is also zero cell service. We had three different phone carriers and no one had bars. This location is perfect if you want to stay home and more go anywhere. It is far from anything and the roads are windy.

Hi Rebecca, we take guest feedback seriously and passed your comments on to the homeowner who would like to share the following: - We strive to provide our guests with a great guest experience, so we were disappointed to hear your feedback and want to take a moment to address your concerns. - We do not have any control over the roadways leading to our home. The California coast highway is a winding road, as are the roads that lead to the coast highway. We will ask Evolve to add a note about the road to the property description. - Cell phone service is intermittent along the coast. Wi-Fi calling is available through the house internet on a cell phone. We will look into adding an extension router. - Our unique property is conveniently located off the beautiful coast highway in a quiet neighborhood in Irish Beach. Restaurants and stores must be accessed by vehicle and are available in the nearby towns of Point Arena, Anchor Bay, Mendocino, Elk, and Gualala. (We will add “vehicle access is required” to our description.) - There are 12 towels available for each reservation (6 sets, plus 6 beach towels) located in the hallway linen closet. - After hearing your feedback we have since ordered 3 additional blankets, one for each bedroom. The fireplace in the great room, the cast iron stove in the master bedroom, and the house heating system typically provide ample warmth if needed. - We want to assure you that there are no issues with the hot tub. We wish you had contacted the Property Manager so she could have answered any of your concerns regarding the above issues. We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.
