The house and property were very good. There were just a couple of suggestions that we left on the table. The pool was a little dirty. All in all the house was very sufficient. Nice neighborhood. Would probably rent again in the future.

The home is older, but in great condition. Lots of space to spread out. In a quiet neighborhood with a nice view over the canal in the back. It would be nice if the pool was heated! Overall a great experience.

Nice home. Pool and views outside were great. We caught some really good sized bass. Inside was clean but definitely decorated by an older couple. The furniture isnt younger child friendly. Beaches are a ways away, but doable.

Nice place to get away

We were there during the tropical storm Debby and we never lost power. We never found the garage door opener so that was a pain. The house reminds me of a grandma house-decoration wise. The 3d bedroom with the futons was less than inviting but overall it was a nice stay.

Could do so much better

This property was in the neighborhood I needed to be.. it was my 1st time doing Vrbo. I was disappointed in the experience. Nasty old towels that ya had to search for paper work from previous guests dishes and silverware were dirty but on cupboards and drawers…

Large, quiet, and private but house and furnishings not as new or nice as pictures led me to believe. Hot water failure in the master bath. No streaming capability on the undersized TV. I have rented much nicer homes in Cape Coral.

Hi Daniel, we take guest feedback seriously and passed your comments on to the homeowner who would like to share the following: - The character and style of a home is a personal preference, and we furnished ours in hopes that it would appeal to most of our guests with both old and new aesthetics. Professional photos and the description on our listing best represent the home. Guests are encouraged to book a vacation home that best suits their taste.- A mechanic has already visited the house to inspect the water heater issue. Upon examination, all breakers were found to be in working order. It's important to note that the hot water may not be instant. However, after testing, it was found that the hot water supply was functioning properly.- We appreciate your feedback and are actively addressing the TV situation. House is decent, location is not beach friendly

Our stay was fine. The house had everything we needed and was in decent condition, but the age of the bathrooms was evident. The pool is not heated, so it was too cold for adults to swim, but the kids enjoyed it. We stayed the last week of March, so the pool is probably warmer in later months. This is not a luxury rental, but the price reflects that. Be aware that this house is easily 30-40 minutes to the closest public beach. Traffic in the area was very heavy at all times of the day, so expect longer travel times for even short trips to the store, etc.

House in need of a deep cleaning. Cracks around counters and floors allowed ants to get in. Pest plug ins are evidence of problems. Too much clutter in cabinets and garage. Seems like no one cleaned out to prepare for people to rent. Way too many glasses of odd size in kitchen cabinets. Pool area needs to be power washed. 30 inch Television way too small. Living room furniture too uncomfortable. Pots and pans are inadequate. Appliances were very nice. Needed better coffee maker.

April stay

The neighborhood was quiet, but the property was dated and not as clean as I would expect something on VRBO to be. Doors were dirty throughout the home and the pool area was very poorly maintained. The general clutter in the garage and laundry area was also not great. The biggest issue turned out to be the keys. There should be one that unlocks all the locks as it’s very easy to get locked out of the house. There is a deadbolt on the front door that has no lock and the garage door had no opener available that we found. The house also wound up being much further from Cape Coral than expected, so that didn’t help. We were only there a few nights, but I wouldn’t stay again.
