I want to begin with the reviews. I had the space reserved but did not stay because of lack of communication. The area was very nice so i gave it 5 stars and the cleanliness i couldnt confirm so that gets 3 stars. This has been by far my worst experience with VRBO thus far and I use them 2-3 times a month. The issues began leading up to the first day. I typically get check in directions well ahead of time, I got nothing the day before or the morning of. I reached out to the host via the messaging app multiple times if there was any checkin instructions (theres a theme here). Once the checkin time had come and passed I reached out to EVOLVE, the property manager, turns out they didnt send me the automated email thats just says to contact the host via phone or email to get checkin instructions. OK Great, i get the email, no big deal small miscommunication. I call - leave a message - Id say I wasnt responded to but the host did call at 8:30pm. I emailed - no responce ever. I followed both up woth a text requesting instructions. All I got back was a random code, no explanation, no directions, nothing. I immediately responded asking for clarification only to be ignored. The code did not work for the gated community and cant confirm if it worked for the house. I called EVOLVE and explained my experience and requested a cancellation and full refund, I was told they have to open a ticket and review the issue. NO RESPONCE in 3 days - Terrible
