The Warehouse Island Retreat - a Beautiful Home With Great Amenities!

Beautifully appointed and recently fully renovated, this holiday house comes with everything you need for a great island getaway. Gigantic deck with couches to relax on whilst reading your favourite book and sipping on a cold beer or a glass of wine. Includes unlimited Starlink Fast Internet access for pay tv or the ability to work whilst away, extended arial for full mobile phone reception (Telstra only) and the water supply to the house is completely filtered so no need to bring water from home. Fully equipped kitchen includes a microwave, coffee machine and ice making fridge. Your outdoor cooking can be done on the Gas BBQ, Smoker or make home made pizza in the Pizza Oven.
There are 2 x large televisions in the lounge and master bedroom) and there are ceiling fans in every room including two "big arse" fans on the balcony so you can stay cool when enjoying your summer holiday. Includes a Washing machine a small bath if you have little ones, and a great yard for the kids to play.

The house runs on solar power only and has a generator for back up in case you are staying with us through some rainy or overcase weather. Whilst there is plenty of power please dont use hairdryers as it will drain the power very quickly!

We provide linen so all beds will be made with fresh sheets and doona covers ready to go. You just need to bring your own beach and bath towels . Please bring at least one beach towel and one bath towel per person. You will be provided with a guide to give you information on how to get to the house, advice on tides etc, and also a guide on everything in the house when you book so that you know whats there and what else to bring along. I am also available for you to call at any time before or during your stay with any questions or concerns.

This is a perfect home for a family holiday, a couple wanting to get away or a group travelling together. Please note that this is not a house for parties - we are very proud of our home and we hope that you will love and respect it as much as we do.

Kooringal is located on the southern end of Moreton Island. The access is via 4WD only as the island is a sand island. You will need to book your car onto the barge prior to booking accommodation to ensure availability as the spaces sell out fast. Access to Kooringal is at low tide so please take that into consideration when making your booking.

The Warehouse is a five minute walk to the "World Famous Gutter Bar" and a two minute walk to the Days Gutter. A quick 10 minute drive to the Eastern Beach for Fishing and exploring.
