Welcome to this charming, tranquil residence that perfectly blends modern aesthetics with artistic touches. Nestled in a serene neighborhood, this house offers a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
Check-in was smooth, the host provided simple instructions in advance. We were able to find parking relatively easy as there is street parking. It is a quiet and nice neighbourhood with a nearby park and plaza for groceries, gas and food. The unit itself was clean and private. There are other amenities available in the building if needed (eg, ironing table and iron). There is stovetop, kettle, microwave, and coffee machine in kitchen (no oven), but this was enough for us. The bed was a little uncomfortable but there were plenty of blankets and pillows to help with that. If staying in the summer, we recommend using the dehumidifier for comfort. The host was very helpful and responsive for inquiries, and very kind. If we are ever in Laval again, would happily stay at this property.
No major issues, everything was fine. Very clean. Easy to reach the host. There was a kettle cups, so we could make coffee in the morning. We enjoyed watching TV on the couch while drinking coffee. I think either shampoo or bodywash was provided (not the other), but many places don't provide those these days anyway, we had our own, so wasn't a problem. FYI: Even though we stayed in June, the basement was much colder than I expected. But there was a space heater in the apartment and the blankets were soft and warm (extra blankets might be in the closet, but we didnt need them). We found street parking for all 3 days we stayed here. The (residential) neigbourhood is quiet and conveniently located, close to stores. I would stay here again if I'm back in Laval. If you're looking for a party vibe though, stay closer to downtown Montreal. Thanks to the host for making our stay comfortable :)
