Smith Beach is small and beautiful so the area is very quiet and relaxing. Nice house with dock and the Florida room was cool! We really enjoyed crabbing right out back.
Everything was as advertised and remarkably comfortable. Well stocked with kitchen supplies; linens and towels were clean and fresh; glasses in bar-room leading to deck and deck were both lovely for morning coffee and evening wine
We decided last minute for a quick getaway. We were pleasantly pleased with this property. It was very clean and well appointed. Driving back to the property we were a bit surprised by the area and the abandoned trailers. It was a bit of a turnoff but the house surpassed and made up for our initial reactions. We would stay again
It was a beautiful house where you could look out over a little inlet of water from the bay. You could walk to a beach that was just for people who lived on Smith Beach, so it wasnât crowded. It was a 20 minute drive from the town of Cape Charles, which had some nice shops and restaurants. The air conditioning worked well, so we could get a break from the heat when we needed!
