We were on a road trip, Texada Island was one of our stops. We booked at Seascapes. We found the hosts welcoming also giving ideas on things to see during our short stay. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed. We enjoyed our stay.
It was so nice to get out of the city and away from traffic noise and city lights. All amenities were provided and the spring water was delicious. The old house is full of charm and tastefully decorated. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen very modern. We didn't get to use the wood stove because the weather was warm. All in all, it was a wonderful stay.
Very clean and tastefully decorated. Beds were comfortable. Well kitted out with appliances, cultlery and everything you might need. Parking on site for one vehicle, so if you are comfortable parking 2nd vehicle on the street, then it works well. Also not amenable to electric vehicles as there was no exterior outlet for charging an all electric.
We loved the wood stove, which was very cozy and warm. I also particularly loved the character of the home with old fir floors. Very close to Shelter Point which is such a lovely place to walk to, as is Gillies Bay, which the home has a good view of, especially the sunsets. Texada is one of the coast's best kept secrets.
