**PRIVATE HOT TUB** This bnb is located on the back corner of our 2.5 acre property and has a bird's eye view of our chicken coop (don't worry, no crowing roosters, only hens). Our property is located less than a 5 minute walk to Frolander Bay Beach and a 10 minute drive to the Saltery Bay Ferry Terminal. This space is perfect for getting the camping feel without any of the hassle of packing up all of your own camping supplies!
It's a beautiful, quiet Serene clean property with privacy fences around each glamping site. There are chickens on the property and fresh eggs in the fridge upon arrival. The glamper is clean and supplies are available. Coffee, tea, seasonings, barbecue, dish soap, etc
Fun and simple camper accommodation ideal for a short and affordable stay. We booked it as a base before our 4 day SCT hike using the bus stop right across the property to take us to Saltery Bay ferry terminal.Excellent communication with the owner. Our car was safe at the property for 3 nights.
Wonderful hosts, very helpful throughout our stay! The glamping trailer was so sweet and had everything we needed, and more. When we arrived late on a cool evening, there was a heater on and pretty deck lights to welcome us. The outdoor space is very large a really maximizes the usable area. The robes were a nice touch to move between trailer and hottub, and the hottub was a highlight! There was nothing missing from our experience staying here. We hope to visit again!
This was an absolutely beautiful place to stay! The check-in and check-out process was seamless, making everything stress free. The atmosphere was perfect, with the string lights, hot tub, and the cozy propane fire pit for a really nice relaxing stay. The glamping trailer was super clean with a comfy bed and cute decor. My friend and I both agreed that we would absolutely stay here again!
Had the most relaxing weekend away staying in the glamping trailer! Itâs perfectly set up with everything you could possibly need, absolutely pristine and a really lovely covered deck out front. Canât wait to come back in sunnier weather to be able to enjoy the outdoor fire pit and close by beaches. Check in/out was seamless and Kristin is easily available if needed!
I had really good time while staying there. Environment is so quiet and clean itâs help to relax my mind and release all of my stress. The owners are very helpful, the day I booked that resort they give my all the updates and if I have any questions regarding my book they reply immediately. Moreover the hot tub experience is really good.
Glamping at its finest. The trailer was just enough space to fit our needs for two people. The outdoor space and jacuzzi made it feel like a retreat. Great environment for relaxing and waking up to farm fresh eggs!
Cozy well stocked trailer with all the amenities in quiet rural setting. Friendly chickens to greet you. Oceanside walks and a beautiful bay for swimming. Close enough to Powell River for excursions.
We really enjoyed the beautiful outdoor space the glamping trailer had to offer, the fresh eggs & robes + white lights for the perfect hot tub experience. The chickens & ducks were living their best lives & we had the pleasure of watching a perched owl while relaxing in the hot tub one evening.
An amazing getaway in a beautiful location! Well thought out interior design for the trailer. Peaceful and enjoyable connection with nature. Many helpful amenities on the outside deck: BBQ, fire plate, comfortable tables and chairs for relaxing chitchat outdoors and under a high roof. Highly recommend!!
Just what we need it, to scape the city and relax. Sadly it was just for one night. Everything looks as expected, the host she is just lovely and very helpful.
Definitely will come back.
Accommodations as described. Hot tub was a nice addition.
The driveway was a coarse stone that made negotiating it with a motorcycle a bit of a challenge. The outdoor deck area really adds to the experience.
My Partner and I had an excellent experience staying at the Frolander Bay Resortâs Glamping Trailer! We were so happy with the awesome amenities that the space includes. The hot tub and the propane fireplace on the beautifully lit deck were a real treat. Inside the trailer was very cozy and clean - super comfortable beds and a good hot shower. We really appreciated the extra little touches that our host, Kristin included - like farm fresh eggs, and lovely homemade ciders from the fruit grown on the property. She even included a greeting card which made us feel very welcome :) I will definitely be back to this place in the future!
If you're looking for the perfect glamping experience while visiting Powell River, this is where you need to be! The trailer is adorable, clean, and so welcoming; the half-wrap covered deck is so open and spacious, with lots of comfortable seating and a wonderful little swinging chair, and has the best view of the chicken coop (very lovely, polite ladies!) - we even got a visit from the ducks! Between the trees and bushes, and the lovely wooden fence, there was lots of privacy so it didn't feel like you were in anyone's space, nor were they in yours. Kristin was very friendly, was quick to respond to any inquiries we had, and her little touches of graciousness are seen throughout the trailer, from the welcome card to the farm fresh eggs to the decor.
We will absolutely be booking here again for a future visit!
I wasn't exactly sure what to expect but it was a described - and lovely! We were there to end a week+ galavanting around the Coast and it was just what we needed. Adorable outside setup for lounging, a massive hot tub to float around in, a friendly ginger chicken to keep us company, super quiet AND a quick walk to the nearby beach! The bed was surprisingly comfortable (it being a trailer I wasn't sure it would be for some reason) and though there are nearby properties they've clearly put a lot of thought into privacy. Communication was great and we had a wonderful time overall. â€ïž
The location a little out of town was lovely and close to lots of nature and beautiful beaches! It was easy to find and felt quite private amongst other tiny homes at the resort. We managed to trip the breaker and the host was helpful in sorting it out. The chickens and ducks were fun neighbours and would recommend this place to families.
I moved from the Lower Mainland to Sechelt, with my husband Alex, in the fall of 2015 and have fallen in love with the beauty and lifestyle of the Sunshine Coast. While living in Sechelt we decided to start our first Airbnb and absolutely loved it! So, when we moved to Powell River we knew we needed to find a property where we could continue to host others - and we think we found the perfect place! We look forward to sharing our home with you, should you decide to stay with us!
We decided to purchase this property because of the ocean views, the lot size (2.5 acres) and the close proximity to the ocean. We have a young daughter who now has endless space to run around and we have plenty of room to host guests. The property is less than a 5 minute walk to the beach, has a large front and back yard and a stream that runs around the outskirts of the property. We hope you will enjoy this relaxing piece of paradise as much as we do!
