Located in Nelson's Uphill neighbourhood we are a 5 minute walk to downtown and 2 blocks away from the Uphill Market where you can get a delicious Latte, snacks and grocery basics. High enough up the mountain to be off of Mainstreet but low enough that it is an easy walk uphill. Close to the Alpine hotel where the ski hill shuttle picks up.
Excellent location. Beautiful area of BC. Lots of good restaurants. Great veranda at rear of house for visiting and resting. Spectacular view. Kitchen equipped well. Good showers. Very enjoyable.
This is the best stocked house i have ever been in, so many small thoughtful touches. We were all very comfortable. Fabulous view, great back porch to chill in the afternoon sun and an easy walk to town. Fabulous location
My friends and I were travelling to perform at a festival in town and this place was perfect. Large and comfortable beds, plenty of space to stretch and unwind at night and only a 9minute walk to downtown. Communication with host was so easy and we all would definitely come stay again!
A most comfortable stay with 6 adults, 2 kids and one infant. Lots of room for everyone. Kitchen was well-stocked for preparing meals. Kristen has created a welcoming space for her guests and we had everything we needed for our stay. Great view from the back deck. Close to downtown. Bike storage available. Thanks, Kristen. We would definitely stay again next time we meet up in Nelson.
The host was very accessible and helpful. The house was very well equiped with everything the guests needed and more and was spotless. The heritage home was within walking distance of the downtown shopping and eating establishments
The host was extremely accomodating, and very quick to respond to emails and query's. The house was a great addition to our ski trip to Whitewater-- made the entire trip easy!
Great location close to town. House was fully stocked with everything we needed. Cool old Victorian house nicely upgraded. Comfy beds. Great communication with the owner.
Everything from booking to the accommodation was fantastic! The home is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Our host was always quick to answer any inquiries and had some great suggestions for things to do! Highly recommend!
This heritage house is so cute!
It's clean and has everything you could need. Walking distance to town and good coffee shops too.
We stayed with 6 adults and 3 kids and had room to spare.
The 6 of us ( friends) were in town to celebrate an anniversary. The accommodations were close to everything we required. The house had more than enough bedrooms and the shared spaces gave everyone elbow room. The host was very quick with responsing to all our questions and requirements. We would highly recommend this unit.
The house was perfect to fit all 14 of us. The house was clean, the rooms were all pretty large. Overall a great experience. We also got to meet Kristin and she was very friendly. We would totally stay again.
We booked this amazing house for 6 nights with 3 teenagers, a preteen and couple. Everyone was so happy to have their own amazing space. Everything was immaculate and available. Would recommend this for anyone traveling with kids. Great location, walking distance to everything and Kristin was a wealth of information and easily accessible.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this nicely renovated Victorian in the heart of Nelson. Plenty of room for 7 adults who didn't want to share beds. The location is excellent - a short walk to the restaurants and shops downtown and a quick 15 minute drive to Whitewater ski resort. The host was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay again.
An amazing older home that was well maintained. There were 9 adults staying in the home and we couldnât have asked for a better place. Close to everything and a short walk to the center of town! Amazing views and would stay there again in a heartbeat!
This spot was great for us. good bedrooms, good kitchen, easy walk into Nelson, and a short drive to the ski area.
The one thing we would suggest for improvement is better lighting and seating for reading.
But all in all, we would definitely come back.
We came to Nelson for a family wedding and a group of us wanted to stay together to get extra time to visit. This house was perfect! From the cute little coffee area outside overlooking the lake, to the several floors of hide and seek to entertain smaller kids, to the tasteful, contemporary decorations in a stylish heritage home. Thereâs nothing bad to say about this place. The house owners were very easy to communicate with, generous with the amount of towels and coffee and other small things you may need if you were to stay and cook. As the house is older, it only had two bathrooms. So getting ready for the wedding could have been a challenge, but a few mirrors in other places around the house helped and the hot water never ran out, which was a bonus. Our only regret is that we all didnât arrive earlier to enjoy the place longer! Would definitely recommend or stay here again.
The house is great. Large enough for 6 guys each having their own room except the two sharing the loft. The house is very nice, comfortable and has way more extras that any other house we've stayed at. The pictures did not do the place justice. I was a bit concerned how it would be because the pictures were so bad. We took a chance and it was worth it. The house has such old world charm but with newer furnishings, lots of outlets, big enough kitchen to cook and great view of the lake from the Kitchen and Livingroom. It has apple tv with many subscriptions and plenty of room for all of us to hang out. Its about a 10min walk to most places downtown so we didn't drive once we got home from the ski hill. Kristen was extremely quick to respond when we couldn't get the door open(hopefully they change the electric lock). I highly recommend staying here. We'll be back.
