I would give this 4.5 stars. My husband and I had a really nice time during our December visit despite the rain and cool whether. This unit is ideally located at the upper end of the North End of the island. Views from the front balcony to the beach are awesome. The beach, pier (which currently needs to be rebuilt), and Freeman Park are literally steps away from this unit. Being there in December, we did not deal with the usual tourist chaos so cannot address that impact. Lots of space for the two of us. Bedroom is spacious with a small balcony overlooking the pool. There are a couple USB multiport chargers which is nice but they charge devices very slowly. Living area has a futon and couch plus an armchair so even with four people there is plenty of seating. We did not really use the kitchen at all so cannot provide an evaluation of amenities. What we did see appeared adequate for 2-4 people. We would definitely consider another stay at this unit! Really the location sells it! Owner/manager was very responsive to issues/questions by phone and text. A few things to consider, there is no hair dryer, no ice trays (fridge ice maker is turned off on purpose) and the deadbolt on the exterior door is really tricky to open and close. I recommend this for small parties as it was perfect for my husband and me. Book it while you have the chance!
