Below you will find details about our NEW 2 bed/ 2 bath home, Mission Bay Hideaway in Pacific Beach!

Welcome to this stunning, completely remodeled bay view condo! This corner unit welcomes visitors to Pacific Beach in comfort and impeccable style.

Renovated in 2023, this modern and mid-century designed condo boasts brand new flooring, furnishings, and furniture! The kitchen has quartz countertops, minimalist and thoughtful features and stainless steel appliances. With a new addition of breakfast bar stools.

Both bathrooms are streamlined with a large walk-in shower in the master and shower-tub combo in the guest. Both include bright lighting, dual vanities, and ample storage space.

The guest bedroom with corner bay views has a queen bed, large mirrored closet and ceiling fan. The master bedroom is similar with a California king bed, large walk-in closet with sliding barn door, smart TV with streaming, and in-suite full bathroom.

The living space is open and inviting with a dining table for 4 guests, great for meals and games! The living room has comfortable, contemporary accent chairs and a twin size convertible sofa bed for an additional guest. The smart TV has streaming capabilities to capture all your favorite shows, movies, and sports games. If you swivel toward the balcony and incredible sunset bay views, you can feel the cozy ambiance of the indoor, gas fireplace!

You don't want to miss the spectacular sunset from the balcony and with an electric grill (COMING SOON) for meals at home, easily served to family and friends in the open California-style kitchen and living space.

This condo comes with 2 side by side reserved parking spaces in the gated garage of the Riviera Villas complex. Additional beach accessories including 2 beach cruisers, can be found in the storage closet by the parking spaces.

There is a laundry room on each floor with credit card or coin operated front loading washer and dryers and a trash chute. It's just 25 feet (or 12 steps) down the hallway. The half-underground parking area has designated parking space(s) for each condo and the cabinets in front of our condo's parking space hold plenty of beach chairs, boogie boards, sand toys, umbrellas and coolers. We provide two beach cruiser bikes for riding on the miles and miles of boardwalk around 4000 acre Mission Bay Park and the 3.5 mile boardwalk along the ocean.

Riviera Villas Condominiums is a 22 unit building situated on the quieter East side of beautiful Sail Bay (the loveliest part of Mission Bay)! You will have a magnificent view of the sunsets with the activities of the bay in the foreground; kite-boarders, small sailboats, water skiers, catamarans, etc. Yet, you are only 12 minutes from San Diego's bustling downtown historic Gaslamp area and Little Italy, both with their fine dining establishments, 1.5 miles from SeaWorld, and within 15 minutes from the lovely Balboa Park with the famous San Diego Zoo and it's fabulous collection of museums and botanical gardens.

It's just a 10 minute stroll around the bay over to Pacific and Mission Beaches with their wide boardwalks to watch the surfers, play in the waves or catch a sunset. On a cloudless evening you might even catch a glimpse of the elusive green flash just at the exact moment the sun sinks into the ocean.

Policies & House Rules

What to expect after booking:
We manage properties on behalf of our owners. Upon confirming your booking, we will send you a rental agreement for your upcoming stay which you will need to complete. This agreement reviews our terms and conditions, house rules and policies, and what to expect of your stay. We will also contact you within 24 hours of the booking to obtain contact information and to address any questions or concerns you may have regarding your upcoming visit. The check-in details will not be shared until the rental agreement has been signed, payment has been made, and the guest has connected with one of our guest services agents.

In addition to completing our electronic rental agreement, you will also be required to participate in our identity verification process. The Verify Hub service is offered through Autohost; an intelligent guest screening software that automates ID verifications, background and credit checks, security deposits and more, helping to improve guest experience and safety. Please note: for the credit card verification, a $2 hold will be placed on the card to run the report. This hold will never process and will fall off automatically within 7 days.

Property Appearance:
Vacation rentals in San Diego are for the most part, second homes for the owners. Therefore, some furniture or decor may differ from what is pictured because the owners needed or wanted to replace something. Professional photos are expensive and we can not re-photograph the rental every time something is changed but we do maintain the listing content with any notable furnishing changes especially related to sleeping arrangements. (*Please note: We do not give refunds because a piece of furniture or artwork has changed)

Property Responsibilities:
If you have never stayed in a vacation rental before, we are not a hotel, WE ARE BETTER! We offer many of the same luxuries of a hotel with the comfort and space of home to share with your whole family. Our property owners are our friends and we work with each owner to offer a special, specific and ideal environment for guests to experience and enjoy. All of our homes offer similar amenities so you can expect the same experience whenever staying with us.

With that said, we need you to do your part in helping us maintain each home. Please be attentive to ALL RESPONSIBILITIES as a guest of our home. Trash/Recycling, Check-out duties, Communication to management, Replacement of keys/fobs/remotes, and Care of the home all help us give each guest and family a home to feel at home in. We appreciate your assistance in making our homes and our business unlike any other!

ALL OF OUR PROPERTIES ARE NON-SMOKING.
Many buildings are also managed by HOAs who will fine guests for misconduct.

Noise:
This home is in a residential neighborhood and, as such, is a NOISE SENSITIVE property. Respect must be shown for the property and neighbors at all times. No loud music, parties, and or loud talking outside after 9 pm. Violation of these rules MAY result in immediate eviction from the property per your rental agreement, and/or fines from the San Diego Police. Please review your rental agreement for complete details and rules about your home!

Starter Kit:
We like our guests to feel at home as soon as they arrive! We provide a 'starter kit' to help our guests get settled without needing to rush off to the store. Our kits include: paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo/conditioner, soap, linens, towels, kitchen sponges, dish soap, laundry detergent and fabric softener, dishwasher soap when applicable, trash bags, extra blankets, sometimes extra pillows, extra sheets-for sleeper sofas, hair dryers, ironing boards, kitchens fully stocked-enough for max occupancy with some extra settings, toasters, some waffle makers, blenders, tool kits, first aid kits, fire extinguishers, and co2/fire detectors.

Arrival/Departure Policy:
Check in time is 3 pm and strictly enforced. (From Memorial Day through Labor Day, check-in is at 4pm)
Check out time is 11 am.
Please follow all instructions for your arrival and departure in our email and phone call correspondence. There is signage around the home to assist with the use of amenities and questions that you may have during your stay. We are available too, even after hours-give us a call!

Holiday 2024 Policy:
6 night minimum AND Saturday check-in is REQUIRED during our holiday season (December 21-January 4). One reservation CANNOT take both holidays, unless it is a 2-week reservation. There are no arrivals OR departures on Christmas or New Year's Day.
*An arrival on a Friday or Sunday may be possible, please inquire if your group needs accommodations that are different as we may be able to accommodate you!

Summer 2025 Policy:
Beginning Memorial Day to Labor Day, Saturday to Saturday is required with 6-7 night reservations. On July 4th 2025, check-in or check-out is NOT permitted. An arrival on a Friday or Sunday may be possible, please inquire if your group needs accommodations that are different as we may be able to accommodate you.

Last Minute Booking Policy:
If a guest books with us directly or on any OTA such as Airbnb and VRBO, within 72 hours of arrival, verification credentials are required. By making a payment on the reservation, the guest agrees to comply with our last minute booking policy.

To properly vet a guest with such short notice requires the following; a “selfie” photo specifically of the booking guest's face and holding either a Driver's License, Passport or State ID photo under their chin. We are just looking for a name to match and the photo on the ID to match that of the person in the selfie. This can be sent by email or text to our company email address. Additionally, we need to confirm guest details such as payment, contact information, applicable check-in time, number of guests and ages, any pets, etc.

This process is required, and if a guest refuses to comply then the reservation will be canceled. We have found this procedure to be successful in avoiding fraud, and protecting all parties! We appreciate your cooperation and we are available to help with any questions.

Nightly Minimum Policy:
4 night minimum required in the off season.
6 nights AND a Saturday Check-in is REQUIRED during peak season (June - August). Arrival on Friday or Sunday instead may be an option.

Pet Policy: Pets are NOT permitted at this property. This is an HOA policy.

Very clean, remodeled. Nice two bedroom two bath condo. Great security in parking garage and unit. Right on the beach but not facing the beach. You can see the water from the balcony. Living room furniture is not very comfortable but the beds are great. Perfect for two couples. Kitchen has everything you need to cook with. Very close to sea world and zoo is about a 15 minute drive. Ralph’s, Trader Joe’s, Wendy’s, Starbucks and other restaurants within 5 minute drive. Note, no washer and dryer in unit. There is a community washer and dryer on the same floor. Parking is tight but you have two reserved spots for the unit.

My stay at this property was amazing. It was located right steps away from the bay. Really enjoyed the bikes which allowed us to ride to the beach every day as well as the boogie board. The property was very well secured and easy to access. I would definitely stay here on my next trip.

Best vacation ever!!!!

To say that this place was exactly what I had hoped for is an understatement. I am having cancer treatment at UCSD, and wanted to have some time with my children and grandchildren. The property sits right on boardwalk of the Mission Bay. Talk about peace. I would take my camping chair out every morning, and sit by the water for hours. I also loved watching the locals play volleyball. I would highly recommend this property. Omar who helped us was the best. I called him my angel.

Luxury on the Bay

This property is a luxury. Love the modern design. Bathrooms are gorgeous. Very clean. Kitchen has what you need without being cluttered. My husband and I enjoyed the cooler evenings by the indoor fireplace, and warm sunsets on the balcony! We took a jog along the Bayfront boardwalk to Pacific Beach for brunch. Parking was easy. No construction. No Wifi issues. Nancy's Vacation Rentals has become our go-to in San Diego! Can't wait to come back.

Overall Great Experience

We are 2 adults / 2 teenagers and take yearly trips to San Diego/Mission Bay. We really enjoyed our stay at Mission Bay Hideaway during July 4th week and great views for 07/03 Mission Bay fireworks. The location is perfect if you like the beach, biking and water sports. Also biking distance to restaurants and grocery store is .3 miles away. Instructions were very detailed and accurate. Digital check-in screen located inside unit was also helpful. We took our own bikes so the double parking space is very helpful and Nancy's vacation rental employees very very cordial. Overall we had a wonderful time here and would recommend.

Beautiful updated bayside condo

The condo was beautiful! Just like the pictures!!! Clean and freshly updated from top to bottom!!! Fully equipped kitchen to cook at home! Literally steps to the bayside beach! Linens and towels provided as well as a starter kit of paper products and soaps! Easy check in process with explicit instructions of various codes for entry. Brand new beach chairs for use, as well as 2 bikes to use. Location was perfect for walking, enjoying the beach as well as groceries, restaurants and activities were just a short drive away!!! Loved it and would stay again!!! Nancy’s Vacation Rentals were very attentive prior to arriving and even called to check on us once we were there!!!

Amazing!

This condo is spectacular, in every way! If we weren't the first to stay here, we were close to it. The owners have thought of EVERYTHING! The place is gorgeous, location spectacular and very comfortable- almost like home, minus the beach (ha!) They provided a coffee machine for pots of coffee or K-cups, enough dishes, etc. to cook entire meals if you choose to, numbers items for the beach, nice toiletries in both bathrooms, additional sheets, blankets and towels, I could go on and on! The only issue we had was not the owner's fault- construction trucks beginning before 7:00 am and noise in the alley between buildings! If we could close the windows, if might have helped, but we didn't opt for the air conditioner units due to temperatures in San Diego. There are many locks to remember, but it was for our own safety, so we dealt with them. About 3 steps and your feet are in sand. If we return to San Diego in the future, we would definitely stay here again!

San Diego Mission Bay

The house was great and was perfectly stocked! The location was amazing and we loved that we had use of the bikes and beach stuff. We had issues with the internet the first day but maintenance was able to fix it by the end of the day. The bad and worst part of our stay was that the city was during major water line work in the front of the property the entire time of our stay. The noise was absolutely terrible starting at 7am and lasting until about 3:30pm every day. They were tearing the entire street apart which was shaking the entire building. We picked this property because both my husband and I had to work remotely during the week. The noise was very disruptive to our work day as we are required to attend meetings all day. They also had the garage blocked for several of the days preventing us from being able to park. We had to walk many blocks because parking on the street was extremely challenging to find. If we would have known what we were going to be up against we would have never rented this property. The property manager should have notified us ahead of time and given us the option to backout of the rental agreement or given us a reduced price.. which is my biggest and only complaint. It’s a real bummer because we really like the condo and location. We come to San Diego pretty frequently but will never rent this house or from this agency again. A simple gesture would have went a long ways in keeping a customer happy.

Very clean

Rooms were big. Plenty of space to put luggage and clothes. Property had been updated like new. Beds were comfortable. We didn’t deice our car there so getting to and from the beach was on bikes. If you are wanting to spend time on the beach rather than the bay side then plan on hauling what you need for the beach
