Terrific property!

This is a beautiful property on then shore of Lake Norman. Wonderful views from every room and numerous decks and patios. Owners are so welcoming! Many water toys and a dock, fire pit and pavilion. Highly recommended.

The booking process was smooth and user-friendly. The hosts communicated clearly and promptly, making everything hassle-free. Access to the home was easy, and the property itself is stunning. The outdoor spaces and lake views are absolutely breathtaking. We enjoyed paddle boarding, relaxing in the Jacuzzi, and spending a lot of time under the covered Palapa on the dock. Overall, it was a fantastic experience from start to finish.

True lake house. Carl and Pam are fantastic. House is full of amenities. It was like we were at home. Place is very clean and comfortable. The tiki decor really sets off the home. Can't wait to be back.

We just got back from our stay at Reel Whale Kept and it’s safe to say this is one of the most exceptional properties we will ever stay at! The location, amenities, views, hosts everything was straight out of a dream! You never have to leave! This place has everything! Very rarely did we even go inside which was also immaculate but there are so many places on the property to enjoy it was hard to pick from! Waking up every morning with a view of the Lake was a dream come true. Pam, Carl and Cliff have thought of everything and were the best hosts! We will remember this trip for a lifetime! Thank you!

Beautiful home on peaceful beautiful lake

Great location on Lake Norman, large property with several outdoor seating areas- I think 7- the most I’ve ever had on one property. Even have 2 fountains to give the calming sound of water. Kitchen was well stocked, plenty of towels and linens provided too. Nice hot tub. Beds were comfortable Lots of outdoor games available including Bocce ball, corn hole, etc. Large fire pit. The owners were super nice and friendly and although are on site were respectful of our privacy. My family loved it!

Perfect lake house

The outdoor spaces on the property are incredible. The owners truly thought of everything we might need or want to enjoy our time on the lake. We were allowed to use a very nice ice chest, we rented a pontoon boat and water carpet and tied onto the dock. They had yard games & lots of outdoor seating. The property manager responded to every question immediately and was so helpful. My son said he thought he was in Hawaii 😂

Stunning!

Situated at the end of the lane, which has several recently built large houses, this is a fabulous family home in the most incredible setting on the lake. It is very private with an amazing lake front garden which is kept looking immaculate by Pam and Carl. They live on site but are in no way intrusive to guests, indeed it was a great pleasure speaking with them ! The house is truly a home with every comfort you could wish for . The hot tub was most welcome in the heat (nice and cool) and the variety of outdoor seating and dining areas were most welcome. I cannot speak highly enough about tgis property, we are very lucky that Pam and Carl are happy to share it Thank you so much!

A little piece of heaven - pure tranquility

We booked a last minute stay for a long weekend. This place is gorgeous. The attention to detail and all of the little nooks to take a nap, read a book, lay on a chaise lounge outside or whatever you want to do. There is a firepit, the kitchen has everything you could possibly want for cooking including indoor and outdoor grills. There are two tiki type areas for relaxing. There are chairs near the beach. I asked if the owners had 2 full time gardeners, and they said they just enjoy doing it themselves. The grounds are incredible. Great walking and biking paths close by, a dock right in the back yard, great restaurants within 20 minutes. The residence and the owners are simply top notch. Highly recommend.
