À propos de cet hébergement

Détendez-vous, détendez-vous et amusez-vous sur le lac! Notre chalet récemment rénové à Stumpy Creek repose sur un terrain plat et ombragé d'un hectare dans une crique tranquille sur le lac Norman. Dînez sur le grand porche et la terrasse grillagés, bronzez sur le quai flottant et nagez dans la paisible crique près du parc national du lac Norman. Lancez votre bateau à partir de Stumpy Creek Boat Landing à proximité et amarrez-le à côté de notre quai spacieux. Vous adorerez le cadre tranquille, mais vous n'êtes qu'à quelques minutes de bons restaurants et boutiques!
En 2019, nous avons démoli notre chalet de 1200 pi² et construit le nouveau chalet de notre famille à partager avec vous. Nous savons que chaque détail personnalisé répondra aux besoins de votre famille et de votre groupe.

Terrific house on the lake!

Great views of the lake! House was great for our family with plenty of room for everyone. Host was very responsive. Will definitely stay here again the next time we are in town.

Gorgeous Lakefront home

This house was all we needed and more! The house was clean and spacious. The kitchen was very well stocked, we cooked Thanksgiving dinner and didn’t need to purchase anything. The house had plenty of paper products and toiletries if needed. The fire pit was a big hit for s’mores. The beds were comfortable. The location was minutes from stores. The decor was beautiful. And of course the lake view was amazing! This is by far the best rental we have stayed at. Highly recommend this rental. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Perfect house on the lake that had everything you can ask for: beautiful home, great location, easy lake access along with kayaks and floats, and a wonderful host to boot. The kids had the time of their lives and can’t wait to go back. Thank you so much for having us!!

A wonderful home!

Two families stayed at this property for a week in the summer and we thoroughly enjoyed it! The property was actually nicer in person than it appeared online. It was clean, large, comfortable, well appointed/stocked with everything needed to cook meals and completely updated. We loved having a grill, floating dock and outside seating. We would love to visit again!

Great Stay

House was great for our group. We spent a lot of time on the deck, in the water and kayaking/paddle boarding. Being on the cove was perfect with kids and babies in the water. House was well stocked with everything we needed. Judy was quick to respond to any questions we had. We would definitely rent again.

Wonderful lakefront home on a quiet cove

The pictures and description of this property do not do it justice. The home was beautiful,clean and well stocked with anything you would need. The yard was one of the nicest we have seen in our many years coming to Lake Norman. The owner checked on us and is kindly going to mail us something that was left behind. Our family could not have asked for a better experience.

Wonderful home for our celebration

Rented this gigeius home for a second time. We needed a spacious place with a high-end atmosphere to host a family get together and this was perfect. As always, the very well stocked kitchen, loads of seating and separate but open gathering spaces made this a perfect spot. Enjoyed time by the fire lakeside sipping wine and star gazing. What a great weekend!

Absolutely lovely home

Stayed for Thanksgiving holiday with family. The house and location were perfect. Beautifully decorated, new and clean. The kitchen was perfectly stocked, even for making a big Thanksgiving dinner. We are already planning when to come back in the summer to enjoy the lovely lake! We highly, highly recommend this property!

Military Family

We rented the cottage so that our adult children/spouses could attend a local wedding. 3 out of 4 of our children are currently, serving in the US military. ( as well as my husband) we needed a large enough place to stay with a very relaxing atmosphere. This cottage exceeded our expectations! Not only very spacious but absolutely everything you need for enjoying the down time. From kayaking, to swimming, relaxing near the fire pit. Just an amazing stay! The owners were very accommodating and this place is pristine. Please take extra care of this special home. If we are lucky enough to all get together at the same time, again… this would be on our top list!

Beautiful home, very relaxing location

The home was recently renovated and it is gorgeous!!! Very spacious with 3 living areas and open kitchen great for accommodating a larger group. Lovely outdoor space with a big yard perfect for kids, outdoors activities and even has the option for a gas or natural wood fire. Oversized dock where we spent our days sunbathing, swimming and fishing. Judy was great with communicating any info needed for our visit. She even provided recommendations for restaurants and activities in the area. We had a very relaxing vacation and would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful and very clean lake home

I rented this property for three families including my own. The house itself is beautiful but the backyard and views of the lake are even better. The house was well stocked and very clean. Huge backyard and fire pit area! The owner had great communication prior to checkin and gave us a ton of information about the lake and surrounding area. Would 100% stay here again.

Calming lake oasis

We stayed for Thanksgiving week and absolutely loved the property. It is well decorated, well maintained, and had just about everything you could possibly need. We brought a lot of our own kitchen things, but probably could have gotten by without them, even on Thanksgiving. We enjoyed the fire place and the food pit p outside, and had morning coffee in the sub room. We could not have asked for a better trip!

Beautiful lake rental!

Our family had a fantastic time at Judy's property on the lake. The house was clean and very well maintained. The property is beautiful and peaceful. We loved how quiet it was on the cove. After long days out exploring it was great to come back and relax by the lake. Judy was easy to work with and readily available for any questions. I would highly recommend this rental.

Amazing place to stay

This was such an amazing trip, our whole group wants to come back together and individually. Lake Norman was just the right mix between relaxing while still having tons of fun things to do. The property was fantastic, it was more than “just somewhere to sleep” and we really enjoyed being there. Highly recommended

Great Getaway

Recently renovated home with all the furnishings. This home was a great fit for 4 adults & 4 teenage children. I would highly recommend it to others. Bring your boat, the lake is beautiful!

Great weekend stay

We had a great long Easter weekend at the house. Enjoyed all the outdoor space, including the fire pit and deck. All the rooms were comfortable and spacious. Would definitely rent again.

Wonderful Lake House Stay

What a great weekend we had with family at this property. My family including multiple 80+ year olds had a great time despite rain and downpours almost the entire time. Property is spacious with multiple living/relaxing areas. All bedrooms on one floor with no stairs is wonderful for seniors.

Amazing Stay!

A great family getaway! Stayed at Stumpy Creek with family and kiddos. Judy and her husband were great hosts. The home was equipped with everything you could need and was extremely clean. The home is beautiful, the pictures do not do it justice. Beautifully decorated and the location on the lake is amazing. Would definitely recommend!

This property is unique in that we have a partially shaded 1 1/3 acre lot, giving you the privacy that you need, but open to water deep enough for any size boat. There is room beside our dock to keep your boat in this quiet cove.

From Land: Mooresville's shopping areas along Exit 36 on I-77 are close by (within 5 minutes of grocery stores, Target, etc.). Enjoy close proximity without the traffic!
