2 bedroom/bathroom sleeps 4, panoramic ocean view downtown close to amenities
Amazing view. Grocery store downstairs, close to Chinatown/Gastown, sky train steps from the front door so access anywhere in Vancouver. Amazing restaurants and amenities. Close to Stadiums for concerts and games. Professionally cleaned. Comfortable memory foam beds
The condo was overly warm and stuffy, even when it was possible to open a few windows and it was cool outside. There were numerous wires, as well as chains, hooks, tape, and nails everywhere. I was anxious about an electrical fire and having to walk down 30 flights of stairs. The on site manager did not return phone messages, but the owner was very prompt with replies to notes.
Andrea was a pleasure to work with, through the booking process and gaining nearby food recommendations as well as gaining access to this high-rise unit. Very complete kitchen and 2 bathrooms. We would definitely stay here again
I couldn't be happier calling this gorgeous condo home for 4 nights, I would stay again and wish i can extend my stay longer, it truly has a HOME feeling, excellent location close to everything we wanted to do, steps to the metro/bus stops. Our host & housekeeper were very attentive, courteous & welcoming. If you're lucky enough to have stumbled into this condo, book it!
The location was great... a few blocks to False Creek ferries, Yaletown, Gastown, and the seawall walk. The condo itself needs attention. It felt like the owner just left leaving junk behind. The plants were waaaayy overgrown for the space (think Seymour in the Little Shop of Horrors). There were weird random nails and hooks everywhere. Lights were mounted on the wall/ceiling with push pins and duct tape. Old towels covered plastic crates which were used as plant stands. Furniture looked like it was picked up at a garage sale. The beds are too big for the bedrooms. If you don't mind the condition of the actual living space, and just want a great location... this condo would work for you.
What amazing views from this 30th floor apartment over Gastown and Burrard Inlet!
Great shower, comfy bed, kitchen facilities, interesting art and quirky decor :-).
Easy access to Skytrain, city centre bus services etc.
Andrea and her team were incredibly helpful and super communicators.
Recommended!
We really enjoyed our stay at 270 degrees. The owner was fantastic with communication. Even arranged an access swipe for our late night arrival. Walking in at night, wow what a view. All up and down the dowmtown area. The apartment had a modern kitchen and plenty of room. The two bathrooms where lovely and clean. Towels and bedding was all ready. We didnt use the kitchen although all appliances were there. Close to touring around town being in the downtown area. We walked to most restaurants. Yes, if you need a stay in vancouver well worth it.
It's in the heart of a city so if you like the city, it golden. I personally don't like watching people on drugs right outside the building and the apartment manager having to clean urine out of the elevator. Once safe inside and 30 floors up, it was fine. It seems like the apartment could be cleaned up a bit - get rid of the numerous nails and hooks in the walls and ceiling and maybe a paint job. But the view was phenomenal.
The good:
Stunning view of Vancouver
Nice balcony to enjoy the view
Convenient to Gas Town
Good dining options within blocks
Easy access to bus stops
Recently updated kitchen
Ample living space
Two bathrooms
Secure parking
The not so good:
The white leather furniture is extremely worn and dirty
The entire place needs some TLC with cleaning, painting and organizing
There are randoms hooks, wires, screws and other things all over the walls
The balcony has an old grill with a Do Not Use sign on it
The bedroom is not functional as the bed is so large you can only access from one side
The nightstand is covered with two huge plants that render it useless
The washing machine area smelled very musty
Neighborhood seems a bit risky at night
The property needs to be remodeled and the clutter cleaned up. There are multiple LED light strips taped to the ceiling and in closets. The beds are pretty worn out and have some large divots in them from people sleeping in the same spots. Just needs some TLC.The Owner and Cleaning people were very responsive and showed us around when we got there which was nice. The view out the patio is spectacular and I enjoyed sitting there in the morning and evening looking at the mountains. Not something the owner can help but Vancouver is a mess with people doing drugs everywhere. Thankfully they do not bother you much but the smell of weed and watching people light up crack pipes on the street is pretty bad especially if you have kids. Several times you don't know if the person laying on the street is dead or just out of their mind.
This apartment is literally in the middle of everything you could want to see or do in downtown Vancouver. The views from the balcony and the overall location are both 10/10.We walked to multiple museums, ate amazing food for every meal, went to a comedy club, a sports bar and a dance club all on different nights and we did it all without ever moving our car out of the parking garage or paying for a ride to get anywhere. We will be staying here anytime that we come back, assuming it's available.
My youngest daughter and I stayed here for 5 days.
Our host and the cleaner were both wonderful with communication and were so friendly!
The property was cozy and we felt very safe.
We loved the thoughtful extras, like pods for the Nespresso and laundry soap/dryer sheets.
The property is very clean and the information sheet supplied, once in the unit, was very helpful.
We loved that there were a lot of towels (this seems to be something that many hosts miss out on as there is often just 1 per person given).
The balcony is such a lovely little oasis! It is so cute and gives FANTASTIC views of the city!
We also loved how quiet the unit was. Other than the love concerts that we happily listened to from the balcony, we could not hear anything at all when inside.
We would definitely recommend this condo and would absolutely stay here again, the next time that we are in Vancouver!
Thank you Andrea. We appreciate you!
Andrea, the host, was very easy to contact and very accommodating. The views were unreal! We would definitely stay here again and have already recommended the rental to family.
Amazing views and access to tourist areas of Vancouver
No real complaints about anything for our stay. Loved having a grocery store in the same building so we could get stuff for breakfasts and snacks. The views from the unit were amazing. Every morning while having coffee, we'd just stare out at the water and watch all the activity. I think we were there at the perfect time as temperatures were lower. I can see how the unit would get quite warm in the summer, but there is an air conditioner which we didn't have to turn on.
We were able to walk to False Creek, Yaletown, Gastown, and Stanley Park. Once we parked the car, we never needed it until we left. The secured parking was also a huge plus.
I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if and when I get back to Vancouver
