Large, elegant, comfortable garden level suite Vancouver getaway!

Wake up in a spacious, fully equipped two bedroom garden level basement suite a heritage house in Vancouver's Little Italy.

Decorated with elegance and comfort in mind, ceilings are high in this well maintained suite stocked with all the amenities you’ll need for your visit. We offer complimentary dark roast coffee, tea, coco and a few comfort supplies.

The two large queen bedrooms have comfy beds, fluffy duvets and pillows with nice linens. Enjoy spacious living, dining area and open plan kitchen that is fully equipped to create a delicious meal.

Enjoy your stay in this clean, comfortable, and fully equipped garden level suite. Note that in order to secure our municipal business license we removed the full range and replaced it with a cooktop. There is also an oven for toasting, broiling and pizzas.

Direct access through the garden by keypad to the common entrance, and the private entrance to the guest suite through a common area waiting for you.

Steps away from great cafes, convenience shops, transit connections, restaurants, cafes, award-winning micro breweries, shopping, and nightlife. 10 min from downtown, short drive to hiking trails & sandy beaches, the PNE and fairgrounds, free street parking.

Our character house is located in quiet, tree-lined residential neighbourhood that links directly to downtown, beaches and the mountain slopes.

5 Blocks to the famous Commerical Drive, an area known in Vancouver as Little Italy. You can walk to the city’s best gelato, Italian cafes, shops and a diverse selection of great restaurants, cafes, bakeries. We have wonderful delis cafes and a 7/11 for all the basic needs just blocks away.

Getting around
Ample, free street parking, with some permit spots to avoid - Happy to help with that!
5 block walk to Commercial Drive.
Public transit is access is steps away, linking to city- spanning Sky train.
10 min drive to downtown core.

We maintain a clean and welcoming suite with hosting and cleaning practices in place since our opening at the beginning of COVID-19:

✔ All of our rooms get thoroughly disinfected using disinfectant.
✔ Cleaning with bleach and similar products to disinfect all bathrooms and kitchens
✔ Use a germicidal disinfectant for the following high-touch surfaces: door and window handles, cabinet and drawer handle, TV remotes, and all light switches.

property was clean and host is definatley friendly and very good communicator but we did not spend much time there except to sleep,property does not look impressive from outside but pretty clean and very good furniture but lacks fully supplied kitchen and no stove . refrigerator is really old and could use a replacement. shower is pretty small so for a tall and big person it will be very inconvenient . basically it is basement apartment with two small bedroom.for U S standard it is not very impressive.

Our lovely, newly painted heritage house is gated, on a tree-lined street, and surrounded by lush gardens. The suite is 950 sq ft, so a really good size. The fridge is a brand new Frigidaire, 2 Door Apartment Size RETRO Refrigerator with Top Freezer and Chrome Handles, and works like a dream. In order to get a short term stay business licence in Vancouver, where there is a housing crisis, we were told to "decommission the kitchen" so no full stove or oven. This is in the listing, photos and the confirmation our guests have to read to ensure they understand the property BEFORE I will book their stay. It is becoming more clear all the time that US standards are not the same as anywhere else.

Had a great stay. Host was very responsive. Place was clean. Weather fantastic. Very awesome location. We had the windows open most of the stay the air was so fresh. (Thanks for the tip Jollean!) Host I believe lives above the first floor in the home you are staying in so noise is a factor for both parties. I had to keep telling my mates to lower their voices when talking so we don’t wake whoever was upstairs lol. I have a white noise machine to drown out any noise coming from above but it wasn’t a lot. We slept like babies. The beds were comfy I like a firm mattress.Overall great stay. Host was super helpful and offered a ton of recommendations for local spots. I would definitely stay again if I could!

Very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Everything we needed and then some. We enjoyed walking through the neighbourhood to the city amenities and restaurants on Commercial Drive. Would definitely stay there again

Lovely place in a quiet nieghborhood

Clean and spacious apartment in a nice quiet nieghborhood. Easy to get into downtown and located in a fun area with lots of Italian restaurants.The hosts are very friendly and gave a lot of lovely recommendations for our stay as well!

We arrived and Jollean our host was very accommodating!! We were late in arriving and she helped with finding food and ordering. She had suggestions for sites and dining experiences. The space was clean and very comfortable!!

Great place!

Lovely home. Host very responsive, very quickly. She was friendly and had great suggestions for the neighborhood. I feel bad this review is late, but we left her place for an Alaskan cruise . Would love to stay here again if I'm ever back in Vancouver!
