Trendy part of Chinatown, with tons of vibrant restaurants and bars around. Short distance to shopping and tourist attractions. Few minute walk to the closest skytrain station. One SMALL car parking spot included with a standard electric outlet available for charging. Paid Street parking is also available. Very close to false creek, Olympic village, gas town as well. Short drive to all the local ski mountains.
Overall good experience. Many reviews said a bottle of wine and coffee was included but none was. Place was clean and comfortable for 4. Area is full of homeless. Just knew to not turn left out the doors. Owner was quick to respond.
Very clean, great communication, a/c unit was sufficient could use more tonnage of air to keep up in heat of day. Area of condo is great, close to allot of eating places. Would definetly stay again
Great location for our Concord dragon boat festival. @10 minutes to get to grounds. Beds were comfortable. The couch is not a great pull out bed. Mattress is way to thin and you can feel the frame. Recommend just sleeping on the top of couch.
Showers were great.
Kitchen had all the amenities.
Felt safe in the area. Grocery stores were about a 10 minute walk. Owner was quick to answer any questions we had, really appreciate that. Thank you. Would stay again.
Great location in Cahinatown with many restaurants nearby. We were very comfortable. Coffee was provided - which was wonderful. Cozy corner unit with lots of windows and a good view. The security was outstanding - nobody but residents can enter the building. Looks like the kitchen and bathroom were recently remodeled too.
People who are not from a high population density environment may be reminded that security techniques in high density locations are often done with electronic sensing and they must start by obtaining the mobile part of that system. Those arriving by car must find a place on a city street to park before expecting to go into a garage. Instructions for how to get the mobile part must be followed while their car sits outside. The mobile part (fob) can activate motors to vertically raise garage gates. Once inside the garage they may have to expect a parking space more narrow than the one they have at home. This property is a corner apartment with views to the south and west. It is clean and well furnished, with possible liquid gifts for guests. The kitchen has a high microwave and low toaster oven. Room heat system is baseboard, with a thermostat that reports time to reach a desired higher temperature. There is a shower without a tub and a shower with a tub. Neither has a place for specifically holding bar soap, but need for that may depend on age of user. Those interested in going to Stanley Park or on to North Vancouver may drive from the property on Pender Street to simplify their path. Those interested in sit down Chinese food can find a good restaurant just steps southwest from the front door. Those interested in science can walk south, then west to a museum for that. Waterfront views of the stadium and city skyline from there are fine.
My family stayed at this property in March 2025 and while almost everything was great for us, the pull out sofa bed was not an option for sleeping. It's super thin and you can feel every spring. It was really uncomfortable. My teenager ended up folding it back up and just sleeping on it as a regular sofa which wasn't great. Otherwise the apartment is spacious and has everything you need. The area is close to East Hastings so there is some spillover of the homeless around the building but we didn't feel unsafe. We used Uber which is quite cheap in Vancouver and they are everywhere. This unit is perfect for a group of 4 people. 6 is a stretch unless you have an air mattress.
The city of Vancouver was unfortunately quite horrifying upon arrival with the homelessness. But this place is a cute, quaint spot with a good view to watch all the chaos go down and step into some classiness. Very modern designed apartment, it was slightly smaller than expected but worked well for our group of 6 all weekend. Host was very communicative and helpful! The apartment was clean and had all the necessities needed for a weekend away.
Host is a great communicator. Property is fine , few things need attention:1).Drawer in kitchen and bathroom are disarray, needs to be more organized.2). No info on how to use the dryer since "washer and dryer" are the same machine.3). The blind (curtain) are malfunction (2 of them located in family room).
Stayed for two nights for a concert and was great walking distance for the train station, area and amazing restaurants. I had a truck which wouldn't fit in the provided parking space but there was public parking across the street which fit my vehicle perfectly. Highly recommend and the host got back quickly and wish our trip was longer for such a great spot.
A great property for four people going to a concert at BC Place or Rogers Arena. Clean and modern. Bright and open with many windows, but if you like to sleep in make sure you bring a sleep mask. Warm in a hot spell, but a portable air conditioner and fans were provided that really helped. The neighborhood is a bit sketchy, but fine during the day, and close to popular venues. Communication with the owner was great. Getting in was a few steps, but fairly straight forward. Parking spot was in underground parking. It was convenient, but make sure you don't bring a truck as it won't fit. Overall, it was excellent and we would definately stay again.
This apartment was great. It was very clean, well furnished and had everything we needed. The property manager was very communicative and friendly. The surrounding area can be a little rough but it was nothing dangerous if you are aware of your surroundings. 5/5 stars, we had a great stay in Vancouver here.
Very easy to check in, etc.
Everything was clean, nice, modern.
Sleeping was comfortable.
Nice bathrooms.
Roads nearby are a little sketchy, but we had no problems.
