Property was clean and kitchen was fully stocked with tools and seasoning. Bathrooms were clean. Beds were clean. There are two people living in the basement units that we weren’t informed would be there. Also they gave us the incorrect check in code. We needed to contact the host to resolve the issue.

Birthday weekend

The house was comfortable and quiet and in a great location for our needs - in walking distance to our daughter, groceries, restaurants, etc. easy commute by car or bus to downtown, UBC and other areas in the city. We enjoyed using the kitchen facilities to host our daughter’s family for their 2 year old’s birthday dinner. The weather was beautiful over the weekend and we enjoyed sitting in the 2 Adirondack chairs on the sunny deck to read and to watch the children play. It would have been nice to have our meals on the deck, but there was no table or other outdoor furniture.

Overnight to see the lights

My spouse and I, our two adult children and their partners stayed overnight after seeing the lights in the Van Duesen botanical garden. The house was a wonderful home base, and we would stay there again.

Angie’s journey is one of resilience and inspiration. Born in southern China during the 1970s, she overcame significant early challenges, including being separated from her biological family as a baby. Adopted by a loving family in northern China, she later reunited with her birth parents in 2023, thanks to incredible support from people worldwide.

After immigrating to Canada in 1999, Angie pursued a Computer Science degree at Simon Fraser University and built a multifaceted career, including roles as a software developer, Realtor, and property manager. This diverse background equips Angie with the skills to deliver a seamless hosting experience. Her life experiences also inspire her ongoing mission to give back, including developing a platform to reunite families separated by adoption.

Alice and Angie’s home reflects their commitment to comfort and hospitality. The beautifully renovated space includes three scenic bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a private backyard and deck. Guests will enjoy modern amenities alongside the charm of a thoughtfully designed property.
