Great stay. Great location.

We did a family trip to ride the Creeper Trail and this place was perfect. Very clean and the location was as good as it gets since we could walk to the downtown shops and restaurants.

It was perfect for a weekend getaway! Had a family reunion on the mountain and got to stay in Damascus on the trail! Comfy beds and really nice that everything you need is provided.

The location was great. Walking and bike riding distance from everything we were interested in seeing. Host responded quickly to questions and the house was stock with everything needed. Great little town.

Great place, great location

The property was as described. Well stocked, cozy, and perfect for two couples. It is in a great location that is easy to walk or drive to all the area's attractions. We could walk to the shops and eateries in town and easily drive to Bristol. Looking forward to coming back to hike the nearby trails in the future.

Trail Days 2023 Home Base

Visited Damascus for the first time with a friend and colleague to experience Trail Days 2023. Location was central to all activities which was key. Loved the place, had been renovated recently it appeared. Spacious and clean. Back porch was a nice hangout area. Would stay here again if in the area and recommend to others.

Location! Location! Location! Shopping, restaurants, and Creeper trail are within walking distance. Beautiful backyard garden. Small issues were addressed quickly by owner is lives close by. Great experience! Would stay again and recommend to family/friends.

Sister’s Getaway Adventure

My sister and I spent 2 days in Damascus on a Virginia Creeper getaway. Our accommodation with Evolve was Perfect! The location could not have been better. The house was the perfect setup for us. Kitchen was well stocked and house was very clean and comfortable. Both beds were very comfortable and loved the screen porch and yard. Will definitely book again for our next trip.

Our first Creeper Trail Trip

The house was roomy and cozy. Paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo, dish detergent was all provided. So nice to not have to run out and shop. Quick issue with the lock was handled immediately by the emergency number provided. Damascus is a sweet town and a great place to reconnect with family

Bike Trip

We brought our 16 year old grandson to introduce him to the Va Creeper. The unit is part of a big house, but it was very spacious and private for us. It has a screened-in back porch which was wonderful for bringing our bikes in for security; it was a great place to relax in the evening - we could hear the river which was about a block away. The house is directly across the street from Blue Blaze Bike Rental (which was a great help for us) and is quite close to the Old Mill. We would defintely stay there again.

The property was dirty and in poor repair. I have pictures. There was no blender, the wall units leak blue stuff down the walls. The rear screened room has half the screens ripped, the ice trays are dirty amd broken, its poorly stocked and has no blender. The matresses are stained and the couch has animal hair all over it. Icalled the owner the night i arrived but her solution was you can leave. The only good thing is the location is excellent.

Hi Joe, we take it seriously when guests let us know that we missed the mark, and after sending your feedback to the homeowner, they’d like to share the following:- When you reached out upon arrival, the offer to leave and receive a refund was meant to provide an option in case the home didn’t meet your expectations, but we’re sorry if this response didn’t come across as helpful.- We regret that the home was not adequately prepared prior to your arrival and have discussed with our team to ensure this does not happen again.- We’ll be replacing the ice trays and addressing any damaged screens in the rear room to ensure everything is in better shape for future guests.- While not a listed amenity, we have noted that the home could benefit from a blender, and we’ll consider adding one to the kitchen inventory.- The A/C units are being reviewed and serviced as needed to prevent any further issues.Thank you for your feedback, and we’re glad you found the location to be a positive aspect of your stay. We’ll be working to make improvements and hope to offer a better experience to future guests.
