Wonderful family vacation

The property was clean and nice. Right on the lake and very comfortable for our family of 9. Beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the outdoor grill and fire pit.

This is a beautiful home (pictures are accurate). Location is great, beds comfy, wifi great, kitchen is well stocked, linens are quality ... all the good stuff. Good roads, even when down to single lane (there are plenty of turn outs, keeping the drive fine with no special vehicle needed). What will have me coming back? What sets this place apart from other choices? The communications with the owners. I have had great communication with owners in the past, but I have never had an owner reach out to me to let me know about a technical issue with the house BEFORE I arrived. I was informed, and kept informed, of the plan to fix the issue and all went as planned. Not the rental company-- the owners; it is the owners that made everything smooth and right. Seriously a stand-up move. After being in the house, it makes sense how well stocked, complete and comfortable the furnishings, provisions and amenities are throughout the home, as these are the products of engaged and thoughful owners. Two families, including teens, had a magical Fourth of July in this wonderful home. From listening to the birds at sunrise, watching storms hit the ridge in the afternoon, to sitting on the dock watching the moon rise, this is a beautiful home in a perfect location. (Nice neighbors on both sdes, too.) I am grateful for the time spent relaxing, watching World Cup and laughing with loved ones in this home. Thank you to these owners. See you next year.

This home was everything that was promised in the listing and more! It was absolutely beautiful. SO clean! It is right on the lake with a wonderful dock! We all had such a great time!

Loved The Property

Had a fantastic weekend at this lake house. Clean house with a good setup, great TV, kitchen and view over the lake. Clean accommodations, spacious enough for a big group. We were able to take advantage and made great use of the dock and lake for a relaxing weekend! Would definitely recommend to others! The only watchout I will give, is the house is a long way down a narrow road, great for privacy and remoteness but a little tough to navigate and make your way into town. Not a negative but something to know in advance. Otherwise, a great stay!

Great vacation!!

This property was a great choice for our annual family vacation, first time on Lake Blue Ridge. The cabin had everything you would need to make wonderful family memories. The cabin was roomy and loved the side porch for activities at the table for the grandkids. Also loved the spacious master bedroom with the private screened-in porch for morning and evening quiet time and view of the lake. We loved that it had a boat dock as we rented a pontoon boat for several days for cruising and pulling the “adventurous ones”on the tube. Grand children loved having the fire pit for making s’mores! The adults loved the hot tub with the amazing view of the lake and mountains in the background. The back yard deck with grill and outdoor refrigerator was perfect and used a lot. Also took advantage of the trees out back for our hanging hammocks. We were able to see fireflies every night which was an unexpected treat for all of us! We saw some beautiful sun rises. I highly recommend this cabin! Owner was easily accessible. We will be back for another stay here.
