Luxurious modern rustic house on Lake Blue Ridge - sleeps 14

Come relax in the Southern Appalachian Mountains and stay on beautiful Lake Blue Ridge. This retreat is the real deal!! You will not want to leave. We have spared no expense to make this a luxurious, comfortable and relaxing experience for our guests.

The house was built in 2019 and has every modern luxury you could need for a wonderful getaway. The Great Room has a massive vaulted ceiling with a wall of windows overlooking Lake Blue Ridge. There are 4 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms (bunk room sleeps 6). This retreat has all the amenities - brand new upscale furnishings, four fireplaces, 8 TVs, and a fully stocked modern chef's kitchen. It is a 2 minute walk to Lake Blue Ridge Marina and a 4 minute drive to Downtown Blue Ridge. Enjoy two outdoor living spaces with an amazing view of pristine Lake Blue Ridge and mountains in the distance (both have fireplace and TV), single slip private dock (with upper deck), huge fire pit, games galore, private hot tub, indoor lounge area, full size cocktail arcade table with over 400 games, indoor shuffleboard table, outdoor ping pong, large poker table, canoe, kayaks, float toys, gas grill.......the list goes on. Bring your boat or rent one locally. This house is perfect for 6 adults plus kids (8 adults without kids). High end luxury towels , bathroom amenities, and luxury bedding throughout. Outdoor teak dining table for 12, indoor dining table for 10 next to counter with 4 stools so the dining area seats 14 total. We promise you that the upstairs outdoor living area will become your new "happy place".

As you open the front door to this retreat you will quickly realize that we have put much thought and effort into making this a great experience for our guests. We are confident that you will create some amazing vacation memories at Ridge Haven Retreat!!!

***Please be aware that there a lot of stairs going from the lake to the house (see property pictures). This may be an issue if you have mobility problems or small children.

*** Lake Blue Ridge is controlled by the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA). This means that the lake water level is lowered during the off season..... the dock may sit on dry lake bed from approximately early-September to late-April. We will try to "chase the water" (move the dock out to deeper water as the level is lowered) to the best of our ability. You can view typical water levels here: http://blueridge.uslakes.info/Level/

Family gathering tradition

My wife & I, our two children with their spouses and their two children each, always try to spend holidays & events together. If we travel at those times, we try to do something special and try to book the best accommodations available as gifts to each other. This modern rustic home on Lake Blue Ridge more than checked all the boxes. As a Custom Home designer/ builder from Central Florida, I was truly impressed with the quality, design and though-fullness the owners put into their home and grateful they let us share it. Everything was 5-star!

Fantastic Lake House

Such a great home!! It really met our needs with a group of 13! Beautiful views even in our late December stay. The house was well equipped, especially the kitchen. We would highly recommend.

Beautiful Lake Blue Ridge House

My family had a wonderful time together at this beautiful home looking out over Lake Blue Ridge. We enjoyed the shops and restaurants in the town of Blue Ridge and hiking some trails, both of which were a short scenic drive away. The owner was great to work with, taking care of us if we needed anything or had any questions. It was perfect for family who wanted to be together and relax.

Paradise at Lake Blue Ridge

This was our second trip to this property. It is immaculate, gorgeous and so well maintained. We are ready to plan our next trip back to Lake Blue Ridge. The host, David, is great. He want’s everything to be better than you expected.

Family & Friends Getaway

This was just the perfect house for what we needed as family and friends. Everything we were looking for, wanted and more. 6 night stay, which ultimately wasn’t enough. We rented a boat from an outside vendor for 3 days which didn’t give us enough time to utilize everything the house had to offer. Location location location was amazing, on the lake, marina bar/restaurant a stones throw away, and downtown Blue Ridge a 5 minute drive. 4 fireplaces and a fire pit……..we can’t wait to come back in the Winter!!!

Fabulous Cabin in Blue Ridge

Our stay in Blue Ridge was terrific. This lake side cabin was absolutely gorgeous, accommodating and convenient. The close proximity to the marina which has boat rentals and a restaurant was an added bonus. The owner was very commutative and polite. We will definitely book this cabin again and again.

Lake front cabin

Beautiful lake front home super convenient to downtown Blue Ridge! We stayed at this home over spring break. It adequately fit 13 people which included 3 family’s- 6 adults & 7 kids (ages 5 to 10). The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and more. It was nice having such a large dining room table indoors as well as outdoors so we all could enjoy eating together. The lake level was low which we had expected already, but the kids thoroughly enjoyed still getting the kayak & canoe out! Lower level outdoor fire pit was great and this particular property owner even has firewood stocked so we didn’t have to worry about buying wood, which was a great added value! Hiking trails were nearby as well. David was amazing with communicating, quickly. Would highly recommend this property for anyone seeking a lake front property that is also close/convenient to all of what Blue Ridge and the surrounding areas have to offer.

Beautiful Clean Home

The house was exactly as described, well stocked and very very clean. Great communication with the owner from arrival to departure. We were a family of 11 with children aged 2-10 and we all fit comfortably and had a great time.

Beautiful Home

We were disappointed that we weren't told that the lake was so low... so low that the view was impeded and the dock was sitting on a dry land. The home was lovely. We cook a lot and the kitchen was well stocked.

Great Family Getaway

This place is amazing! It has a beautiful lake/mountain view and we saw a gorgeous sunrise each morning! The house has everything you need for a large group. The kids loved playing video games and ping pong. There were also many family games to play. We enjoyed Scattergories and Scrabble. Since we cooked our dinners there, we appreciated the high end appliances with double ovens and lots of dishes and silverware. The kitchen has everything you need! The outdoor fireplace became our favorite spot each evening. There was lots of firewood provided. The owner checked in with us and had great communication. We would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely Perfect Experience on Lake Blue Ridge

The property was as described and even better in person. Our host, David, actively checked in and answered even the smallest questions we had promptly. We celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary with a group of friends and family and this could not have been a better set-up. Perfect access to the lake and plenty of games / activities around the house for the kids. I cannot recommend this property enough!

Absolutely Beautiful Property!

The house and location are perfect. The dock is in a cove that made it great for floating without worrying about being in the way of boats, and plenty of floats and kayaks were provided. The house itself is gorgeous, with lots of games/activities to keep everyone entertained. The house is also an extremely easy and quick walk to the marina restaurant, which was very convenient for grabbing lunch/dinner. David was very responsive to any questions I had. Can't wait to stay again!
