If you’re seeking a quiet, relaxing weekend getaway which is great value, this is the place! It’s warm, with double glazing, clean, modern, and features a fantastic power shower—highly recommended and would definitely stay again.

We had a great stay at this property. Everything was clean and easy. Kids loved the toys and out door spaces. Very handy to everything on offer in the area. Highly recommended

Awesome place to stay

Great location to walk everywhere. Plenty of space for everyone including a lovely deck and spacious outdoor area. Bonus games, toys and swing for the kids to play with.

Privacy and relaxation in Waitarere Beach

This place has everything you need, great location, beautiful home and awesome hosts.The deck was a great place to hang out, and the privacy was second to none. We highly recommend this place and will be keen to return. Thanks so much guys you were amazing.

Beautiful stay

Very tidy and comfortable property, our 3yo son loved being able to be in the connecting room from us and he was absolutely rapt about the toys and the swing! I enjoyed a beautiful soak in the outdoor tub under the stars. Not far to the beach and playgrounds the fairy garden and middle earth park were a hit too. Thank you so much for having us ❤️

Night away

Booked for a one night getaway and it was perfect. Owners were easy to communicate with and it had everything we needed to unwind, beautiful star lit night and nice and cozy inside. Large outdoor space in a nice quiet area with the beach only minutes away! Thank you for the stay will be back again in the future

lovely place

We had a lovely stay at this house, there was an issue with the cleaner, so the place wasn't as spotless as it could have been, but other than that the communication with the Owner was fabulous and the kids had the best time playing in the fully enclosed yard. An Easy walk to the local park, and not too much further to the shop and beach.

Everything you need.

Comfortable property with everything you need and a nice vibe. Local curry house was great too! Its very set up for a family with young children but that was ok. Use of bikes was a bonus, and made for a fun way to get to the beach. Would recommend it for a weekend stay near the sea.

Classic bach

The property was large and well appointed. We enjoyed the bikes and the master bed was very comfortable. The kitchen could do with a few more things like extra tongs and chopping boards. The four square down the road was great and reasonably priced. We had a great time would stay again.

Kind annd caring people and beautiful relaxing home.

I booked for the weekend to escape floodingg in Napier and the beautiful home owners offered to buy groceries for us and to stay on for 5 more days for free to help assist us. This was the most kindest, caring gesture ever received from any book a bach house owner. The beach is just up the road and great facilities. I highly recommend booking with these amazing people. Thank you to you and your family. This was so humbling.

Our best holiday home yet!

We really enjoyed our stay! The home was clean, tidy and well presented. Easy access to everyday facilities like full kitchen, bathroom and laundry set up made the stay a home away from home. With the exception of no baby gates, the home was very child friendly. Large rooms and spaces and a comfortable bed made the win! Well fenced, although a lawn mow would of made the beautiful big yard all that more enjoyable. Owners were absolutely incredible to communicate with and it was a absolute pleasure to stay. We hope to book again! Thank you so much for a enjoyable and easy home to stay in :) We highly recommend!

This is our family bach, that Kate and I love to share with others when we and our four young children don’t have time to get away.

We fell in love with Waitarere in 2018, especially the natural beauty of the beach and forests, laid back people, and easy access to good supplies eg, ice creams, coffee, bakery food and pizza!!
