There wasn’t ice trays and the ice maker didn’t work. Very minor inconvenience. The place was so quiet. Hot tub was wonderful. Everything was great. Bed slept great. Hopefully will get the chance to do it again

Such a cute cabin for a weekend getaway. Super close to enchanted rock and close to town without feeling close.

Madeline, that balance you described, close to Enchanted Rock but still feeling tucked away, is exactly what we had in mind with this place. Glad the weekend delivered. If you make it back out this way, Enchanted Rock at sunrise before the crowds arrive is something else entirely, and the cabin puts you close enough to pull it off without an early alarm ruining the trip.

Jon, a clean house with a view that earns the word "beautiful" is exactly what we set out to deliver at this property, and hearing you felt at home the moment you walked in means everything. The Hill Country has a way of pulling people back, and Fredericksburg always gives folks another reason to return. When you make it out this way again, come in the fall if you can. The colors on those cedar ridges are something else entirely.

The location and layout was perfect. It was close enough to town to make a run back for dinner and groceries but far enough to give a scenic view with lots of animals along the way. We watched the sun set from the hot tub and then viewed the stars on the front lawn. The next morning we watched the sunrise on the porch rocking chairs.

Such a great stay! We definitely will be returning. The hosts were very kind, accommodating and helpful, the home was well kept and clean. It has beautiful views from the porch. The house stayed very cool, even in the heat of the summer. Definitely recommend for your next stay! If you’re traveling with a pack and play or kids, keep in mind that the rooms are smaller and there is no ceiling between the rooms so noise travels easily in the home. We had to be a little flexible because of that but overall, it was such a great stay. Would definitely recommend staying here for your next trip. Thank you to the host for your hospitality!

Perfect setting for a weekend of hiking and stargazing. Close to Enchanted Rock State Park. Easy drive into Fredericksburg. Cabin was charming and clean, beds were comfortable, and we appreciated the ample towels and washcloths. Would definitely stay again.

Regena, Enchanted Rock right down the road and a charming cabin to come back to at the end of the day is just about the ideal Hill Country setup. Glad the beds held up after those hikes and that the little details like the towels were on point. If stargazing is your thing, the stretch of clear sky out here in fall and winter is something else entirely. Come back and see us again soon!

The place is beautiful and secluded. The hot tub with the views was the best part. Just be prepared if you don't like firm beds. The beds were too firm for our liking and the pillows had no fluff at all. Overall though, we loved our stay here!

Melanie, those hot tub views are something else, and it sounds like you found the best seat in the house. Your note on the beds and pillows is fair, and we have since swapped in softer pillow options at the property so the next guests have more to choose from. The firmness of the mattresses is something we are actively reviewing as well. Glad the seclusion delivered the way it should. Come back when the wildflowers are out this spring, the views from that hot tub hit different with the Hill Country in bloom!

Cabin is located a little north of Fredericksburg, which is a really nice area, the surrounding area is beautiful with lots of wildlife and animals to see each time you come in and out. It's also secluded and gives a lot of privacy to enjoy your time. The cabin itself is nice, just be prepared if you come in the summer for it to be warm inside when you get there. There is a mini split AC to cool the whole cabin, so bring a fan to help circulation if you run hot. The only real complaint was the flat pillows on the beds, so we brought our own.All in all it's a great little cabin to stay in while you see the sights all around the hill country and would definitely consider staying again.

Enchanted Rock / Star gazing trip

Took my kids to visit the Enchanted Rock and this cabin was the perfect location, just 14 minutes away. The stars at night at the cabin were amazing, sitting in the hot tub while watching was perfect. Lots of wildlife to enjoy also.

Uses AI to scan your drivers license. A lot of the instructions online are not accurate and the property has some wear and tear. Other than that beautiful property with excellent views at night. Great location near Fredericksburg and enchanted rock.

the air split conditioner was not cooling, there was no remote for it, we had to use the box fans to keep the place cool, the hot tub was not cooling down , too hot at 104 degrees, there is no book or guide on who or what to do if an emergency there, the internet access code was not listed, but they did come and unstop the tolite that was not flushing. We were not happy with the persons that called, i guess its been outsouced, but they were not very schooled in what is needed for the rental.

April, box fans should never be the cooling plan in one of our homes, and that is on us. The mini split is being serviced this week with a new remote in a wall bracket so it cannot walk off, and the hot tub controller is being reset and rechecked so it holds a comfortable temperature instead of running hot. Every home is getting a printed guide in the kitchen drawer with emergency numbers, the wifi code, and hot tub instructions, and our after hours line is moving back in house so the person answering knows the property. The toilet call should have been your only issue. Come back and let the house work as intended: cold air, easy soak, quiet evening on the porch. Every guest who comes back to us gets 10% off the return stay, and that includes you. Sincerely, Morgan, Director of Operations.

Great spot!

Loved the property, beds were comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed. We used this place as a base for seeing other places in the hill country, like Cave Without a Name and Enchanted Rock. Both were amazing. My grandson (4) was sworn in as a Junior Ranger at the Enchanted Rock state park. We had a couple of cows visit us in the early morning. Loved watching the stars at night and very early morning. Even saw shooting stars! Amazing place. Hill Country is so beautiful. I have to say though the one AC unit in the living room didn't really keep the bedrooms cool. And we could never get the hot tub to heat up, but the kids loved playing in it. I would definitely recommend this place and likely go back to stay as well.

Nathan, a perfect score and a single letter, which tells us you felt every bit of the Hill Country and nothing got in the way of that. Glad the house delivered. When you come back, try timing a visit for bluebonnet season, the property looks entirely different when the roadsides and meadows fill in with color, and it is worth planning around.
