Remodeled in 2023, this lakefront 4 bedroom stunner is just steps away from the resort's private beach and lakeside pools. Inside, elegant furnishings and vaulted ceilings enhance the lake-front deck. Natural light fills the main living area where the group can relax on the plush couches, warm up by the gas fireplace, or enjoy movie nights together in front of the big screen!
This home has portable AC units for use during the summer months in each bedroom.

Lakeland Village is centrally located in South Lake Tahoe with something for every family member. Amenities include two heated pools plus a kiddie pool ( Lakeside pools open during the summer months ), two shared hot tubs, a shared sauna, a fitness center, a beach, a picturesque pier, fire pits on the lakeside patio, and seasonal BBQs and boat buoys available first come first served. Boasting one of the premiere locations in South Lake Tahoe, you are just minutes from top attractions such as the Heavenly Ski Resort, world-class golfing, hiking, biking, Emerald Bay, a myriad of dining options, shopping destinations.

The newly remodeled kitchen is a chef’s paradise w/ all new stainless steel appliances, including an oven, electric stove, and fridge. Grab a drink & pull up one of the 4 seats at the counter to help with meal prep!

The property was clean, spacious, and well-appointed. We did not use the oven or the outside grill but appreciate that those features were available. The proximity to Lake Tahoe is exceptional and the views spectacular. Overall, we had a wonderful experience during our stay.

We will certainly pass along your feedback about the home to the owners for their consideration. Lakeland Village was built in 1973, almost 50 years ago. It is a fabulously unique property, as it is right on the lake, with a beautiful beach, pier, boat buoys, 2 swimming pools, hot tub, firepits, and walking to groceries and dining. There are no other properties like this in South Lake Tahoe, and there will never be another, due to building restrictions around the lake. For future guests to note, the pictures of the unit are updated and accurate. We're so glad you enjoyed your stay, and we hope to have the opportunity to host you again in the future David!

I've stayed at other units at Lakeland before which are all good, but this is the closest I've stayed to the lake and I'll never being able to go back to a further away unit. Worth the extra cost.

Great location

Overall a successful stay but a couple of misses/repairs needed on the condo to score the 5. Great patio to enjoy looking at the lake and of course a very convenient location. Even saw a bear sleeping in a tree one early morning.

Thanksgiving stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay with 7 adults. There is plenty of space for 7-8 adults, the home is clean and fully furnished for a comfortable stay, and the kitchen is well equipped to cook and serve the Whole Foods Thanksgiving dinner, conveniently from the store across from the development entrance. We used the community gas fire pit for an afternoon, also conveniently located to the townhouse. Highly recommend this property!

Excellent vacation stay

We had an amazing stay as two families with three kids during our vacation. The location couldn’t have been better—right on the front beach line, offering breathtaking views and easy access to the beautiful, clean beach. The large pool was a hit with everyone, featuring three different zones that catered to all ages. It was great having all amenities so close by, making our stay even more convenient and enjoyable. Communication with the unit management was top-notch—very prompt and helpful throughout our stay. We highly recommend this place and would love to return!

Great view, too much construction

Except for kitchen, rooms/hallways inside were dark. Construction blocked main entrance & various roads/parking lots. Price should have been lowered for this mess/inconvenience. 3rd floor "bedroom" didn't have place to hang clothes!

Greg, thank you for sharing your experience. We're so sorry the construction at Lakeland Village was tough this summer. Unfortunately in Tahoe we only have a short window of time to get work done before the winter weather hits. We always notify our guests as soon as we receive any information on construction projects so they are aware. Luckily, all projects are done now for future guests to enjoy. For future guests to note, the 3rd floor bedroom has a dresser for clothing storage. We hope you'll consider staying with us again under better circumstances next time Greg

Lake Tahoe Family Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We traveled to South Lake Tahoe in late August of 2024. We stayed in a very comfortable condo, almost on the lake, close to everything. Overall, it could not have been a better situation for us, because we were with a toddler. The condo was well stocked with everything from beach towels to spices. However, it could have been cleaner. Spiderwebs draped rafters and corners but surfaces were clean and overall tidy. A water main busted while we were there and we did not have water for several hours, then when it came back on, we were not told immediately that we had to run water for 10 minutes before using. Some of us had already used the contaminated water. Also, a bear help himself to garbage (from the bear boxes) every morning from at least one or two of the nearby condos. The HOA should provide some solution for that situation. Very easy check=in and check-out.

Thank you for your detailed review Jill! The location of Lakeland village is unmatched, and we’re so happy to hear that you were able to enjoy it. We try to stay ahead of cobwebs, but in Tahoe the spiders occasionally win. We maintain a very high standard of cleanliness and we apologize that you came across some cobwebs in the home. We have addressed this with our cleaning crew to make sure it is handled properly for future stays. It is always unfortunate when circumstances out of anyone's control like water mains breaking occur; but we will absolutely speak with our teams in regards to our communication during the event. Since your stay with us we have revised our trash pick up policy and now ask our guests to tell us whenever there is trash in the bear box so that we can perform a pick up to prevent those pesky bear break ins! We again appreciate your feedback, and hope to host you again in South Lake Tahoe!

So we booked it again for this summer since we loved it so much. What I wasn't expecting and was very pleasantly surprised by, was that the home in now under an new operator (RnR Vacation Rentals) and they've gone above and beyond to make the home even more incredible. The kitchen was fully stocked with every appliance imaginable (included a huge spice assortment), all the bathrooms were well stocked with amenities, and they even went as far as putting AC units in most of the bedrooms. I don't typically write reviews, but I was so impressed with how they upgraded the home that I felt compelled to write a review! I'll actually go out of my way moving forward to book directly with RnR.

We brought corn hole and played right next to the patio on the grass. Also, we brought a paddle board and kayak and could walk steps to the water to enjoy those. We have been coming to Lake Tahoe for many years and this was one of the best trips because of the ease of getting to the lake and not having to leave home to see it. We enjoyed the fire pits every night with smores. The home itself was clean, comfortable and roomy. Great spot we will be back!

Location is great, close to heavenly and close to alot of restaurants and bars. The place was furnished well, and kept up to date.
