Monaro Cottage, 3 bedroom pet friendly home

Welcome to our gorgeous pet friendly cottage.
Located in a quiet residential area in Eden, just walking distance to the beach and Lake Curalo as well as a short walk into town. Monaro cottage is set back on a large block surrounded by stunning foliage and natives, the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing seaside vacation without the feeling of being surrounded by neighbours.
Our cottage is filled with lovingly restored furnishings throughout. An eclectic mix of furniture coupled with artistic flavours means that there is plenty to discover throughout the house.
As you enter the house you will be welcomed with a an opened planned living with gorgeous picture windows that allow the sunlight to shine in all day.
Our fully equipped kitchen has more than enough cooking utensils and appliances for a family feast.
The main bedroom is host to a queen sized bed and access to the bathroom, the second bedroom has a double bed and a large north facing window that captures the morning sun.
The third bedroom consists of a set of bunks and a diverse variety of books and dvdÂżs to suit everyoneÂżs tastes.
Walk upstairs to the light filled bar/seating area that boast a deck with ocean views!

Bring along your four legged friends to enjoy this beautiful property and run free on the close leash free beach.

Please note there is no fenced yard and dogs are to be kept on a leash whilst in the yard.

We loved staying at this cottage. We loved the clean, well-appointed house which was decorated with original artwork and vintage pottery, the beautiful garden abundant in birds, and absolutely loved the beaches and whale watching in Eden. One of our best family holidays ever!

My extended family had a comfortable and enjoyable stay at Monaro Cottage when we celebrated our birthdays.It accomodated us all and was well equipped to handle all the cooking we did.We enjoyed walking to the beach and into town.Our dog enjoyed it too.

Road trip via Eden

Lovely house with airy rooms and lots of light. Very much enjoyed the upstairs room with views over the sea. Bed was comfy too. Loved the boardwalk by the lake especially.

Could not fault this place it was amazing , gardens ,wildlife , breakfast upstairs on the balcony while listening to the waves crash in at the nearby Aslings beach , which was only a 3 min walk to , had fun there looking through the rockpools lots of starfish etc ,loved feeding the cockatoos .The house was spotless ,great decor, but oh that couch ! Comfy beds , well equipped , loved the big window that looked out onto the gorgeous garden Will definately be going back . The Woller family

Lovely house and garden

Monaro cottage is a lovely house with beautiful views of the garden and mountains. It is a very short walk to the beach and we really enjoyed our stay. A few modest purchases would really help. The kitchen bin is a waste paper basket, please get a proper bin! There is no mop and with a wet dog and wooden floors a mop would be useful. A few cloths for cleaning surfaces would also help- we prefer to keep the place clean but usually simple cleaning materials are provided. Also, the TVs are really bad, luckily we didn’t want to watch TV! But overall, this is a wonderful place and we enjoyed our stay!

Great location, needs some work

Ideal location near beach and town, stunning garden, comfortable home with clean bedding. Some areas of the home need maintenance: shower door dangerously off hinges, no enclosed areas for dog, verandah drop off dangerous for toddlers, bbq left unclean, loads of utensils but none of the basics. Bit of TLC and this place would be a ripper for all ages families.

Relaxing house to stay, close to beach, gorgeous garden

We all loved the sunroom upstairs in the mornings, great for warming up in the sun. Close to the beach and also the lovely boardwalk around Curalo Lake. The garden was just lovely, with so much beautiful birdlife. Of an afternoon after a day of sightseeing, we would relax in the sun, and read and snooze on the lounges in front of the picture window. We had a fantastic holiday here!

Nice property - terrible service from Homeaway

Property was fine. HomeAway service was terrible and would never use them again - would go through properties without HomeAway. They tried to take double our money then blamed the property managers and the bank. The bank reported that this has happened many times before from HomeAway Stayz.
