Vingt-quatre cents pieds carrés, trois chambres, deux salles de bains, la maison, avec des comptoirs en granit mis à niveau, cuisinière en acier inoxydable, très jolie cuisine pour la cuisine ultime dans une expérience de cabine. La propriété est à 2800 mètres d'altitude. Planchers de bois franc, modestes, beaux meubles. Une maison de montagne dans laquelle vous pourrez également vous détendre. Jacuzzi et marbre et travertin complètent votre expérience de bain. Cuisine bien aménagée, équipée de tous les ustensiles de cuisine, de la vaisselle et des épices de base pour le confort à la maison.
Vous apprécierez l'intimité et la vue sur les montagnes depuis la cuisine, le salon et les salons s'interconnectant. Détendez-vous sur le pont enveloppant et détendez-vous la nuit et admirez les montagnes toute la journée. Une fois que les vacanciers arrivent à la boucle panoramique de Yosemite, ils sont stupéfaits. Les rivières sur notre route, les lacs, la navigation de plaisance, les plages de baignade, même au bord du lac, avec Angel Falls qui se glissent directement dans le lac pour s'amuser en famille et faire du tubing intérieur. Nous avons accès à des installations 1/2 mile au gaz, épicerie, poste de garde de Bass Lake, magasins et restaurants, magasin de vidéos. Vous pouvez pêcher et nager à proximité, ainsi que accéder au parc Yosemite complet jusqu'à la sortie 274 de notre entrée. Visitez le musée indien Mono près de chez nous et visitez le sentier en boucle de 40 milles de lacs, tels que Redinger, Mammoth Piscines et arrière pays meilleur camping sans foule! Même en été, nous avons un accès à l'arrière-pays aux prés, rivières, montagnes et un accès facile aux altitudes comprises entre 3 000 et 7 000 pour être frais en été ou pour neiger en hiver. Ne manquez pas la jolie maison au lieu d'une cabine poussiéreuse commune qui est fermée à clé sans vue, nous avons un bon emplacement sur la colline avec vue et personne ne regarde. Maison améliorée, granit, baignoire jacuzzi, cuisine gastronomique. Faites moi savoir si vous avez des questions. Comme peut-être la disposition du lit pour que tous les dix puissent dormir. Chambre Master Manzanita, lit king et salle de bain Slate Shower attachée, dressing Deuxième chambre, salle Sierra, une reine, dressing Troisième chambre, chambre Mtn View, deux lits jumeaux Den Conversion. Bureau, deux lits jumeaux superposés Salon, canapé, causeuse, chaise et un matelas Queen au bord de la fenêtre voûtée pour faire la sieste, vous allonger et regarder la télévision au coin du feu, jouer à des jeux de société, jeter vos affaires après une randonnée ou dormir la nuit. Plus un lit de jour à côté du poêle à bois par l'entrée du hall pour un bunker supplémentaire. Couloir salle de bain a une baignoire jacuzzi, deux lavabos, commode, etc. La maison est une tanière de 3 lits plus 2 salles de bain. Cuisine de comptoir en granit améliorée avec cuisinière améliorée Petit barbecue en plein air, pas de feux en plein air à Yosemite en raison des lois et des sécheresses. Avant pont complet pour regarder les étoiles ou accroché à l'extérieur et regarder les montagnes. 1/10 km de route à partir de la route bien entretenue 1/10 mile de tourner sur le lac Bass et Yosemite, (nous sommes la route pittoresque, Yosemite pittoresque en passant, un mile to Bass Lake Ranger Station Il y a peu de restaurants, de magasins, de stations-service) dont il n’y en a pas à l’intérieur du parc, aussi les gens restent-ils dans de petites villes souvent pour y trouver de bonnes routes et des activités locales. Nous avons trois cascades locales toute l'année à 7-10 milles de la maison. Cascadel Falls, Angel tombe à Bass Lake et Whiskey Creek tombe. Nous sommes à 26 minutes de l’entrée sud selon les indications de conduite fournies par un locataire dans mon compte-rendu, ainsi que de notre expérience de conduite dans l’entrée sud, qui est l’entrée où se trouve le grizzly géant Sequoia. Le train de Yosemite se trouve également à l'extérieur du parc sur le chemin de notre maison sur l'autoroute 41, avant l'entrée sud. Derrière la maison se trouve une cour d'école que vous ne pouvez pas voir mais qui peut marcher jusqu'au sommet en 5 minutes et traverser, pour un terrain de football, un terrain de baseball. court de tennis, aire de jeux, etc. et cours de yoga occasionnel pour adultes par un ancien professeur de gymnastique voisin. Nous avons yoga un mile en ville aussi bien si vous voulez une activité locale ainsi que le musée indien Mono est catty corner derrière nous en 1/10 mile. nearby river
The property itself is kind of awkwardly laid out for 2 families with 4 teenage boys (since two ended up sleeping in the living room/dining area) but we had a fabulous time. We went up to the school at night to watch stars and went to a nearby river during the day. The river was at sort of a park that was technically closed due to covid but it had an awesome swimming hole with a rope swing.

Nice guests. Yes this a a single family home. Master big bedroom w attached upgraded bath. Room two a queen. Room three a king. All have walk in closets. We have a den office with extra queen bed for those that really want to bring an extra person but we don’t host two families for this reason. The second bathroom upgraded has a jacuzzi tub. Great for up to a family of 4-6. Since sis 2500 square feet well later out normal home. We did put a day bed in the living room added to couch. Love seat. Tv area. Since families if they bring extras use these areas we are probably going to take away extra beds unless requested for extra occupancy fee over 6. We used to host ten due to high request before covid. Thanks all ! Only best waterhole by us!

Nice home. Location was not what I expected when reading posting.
House in off the main road on a dry dusty drive way. The house is on a well water so you have to monitor your water usage. On the posting of this house it listed washer and dryer and we did not have one. It was so hot outside and dry it was over 104' and posting of this house mention a swimming creak near by the house and we could not find one maybe it's dry for the summer. Bass lake was about 30- 35 min away from the house and hour to Yousemite was a drive away. To the main gate it was about 45-1 hour drive.
I think this location would be good for the winter months when you would not have to monitor your water usage, with a 2 year old it was really challenging with the heat, limited water and AC usage.
Also you have to take care of your own trash now that's really hard and smelly when you have dippers that you have to transport to a trash can as your driving home. Not very fun.
Owner was nice and the rental lady who greated us at the house was amazing.
I wanted to be honest and give a true accounting of my experience.

Traveler did not use our AC ? ODD. She TOOK "WRONG EXIT" road 222 which winds all the way around, not 274 which is direct straight line to lake and park . Bass lake is 5 miles from us if you take 274 exit. Tenant ignored Map on booking site and coffee table with all our flyers and website before booking and after arrival on our coffee table : how to get to local sites quickly on local roads including the ranger station maps one mile from our house. All previous Traveler reviews post south gates are 26 miles and 26 minutes to south entrance . She took the wrong road 222 which winds all the way around, not 274 which is direct straight line to lake and park. Bass lake is 5 miles from us if you take 274 exit. The creek is a water reserve swim area 3/10 mile from our house, our neighbor owns and shares with the community the renter did not ask. We have central AC and ceiling fans and when my worker arrived to check them out they had the AC off did not know how to use it. Our dirt road is less than 1/10 mile with private views. Summer is dusty, but the best visited destination in the US but we are in a drought, YET same high temps in yosemite for summer since 1940s, nothing new to the area, in fact we are 10 degrees less than the valley of the park so dont come in JULY for 90-100 On booking each renter receives location info: Walking distance 3/10 m to largest river swim hole & bass lake beach swimming is 5-7 miles away. Yosemite is 90 square miles and is a drive for everyone to the VALLEY from any house as there are no houses inside the valley only 3 hotels over $300-500 nt. The drought is well known nation wide, we have lost 6 million trees in yosemite and everyone is on well water and its a state mandatory issue to conserve unless you are ignorant and blame it on the house. I think more people need to wake up to the state water conservation by our governor and start preserving resources. The moutains with wild animals and bears, we ask same as a campsite not to put your trash outside to not attract bears, and if you cannot take it to the dump and its smelling we do it but there is a drop of fee of $15. This woman simply is not reading or communicating and we have many grateful guests , but city people are not respecting the country like you can do what you want here but not at home. Like leave feces diapers in a trash in summer heat means contamination and maggots but she calls it having to take out her own trash, Very non green greedy thinky on resources

The house was listed on the VRBO website for a specific amount per night. The homeowner sent an invoice for this price, plus an “additional guest” charge. We immediately emailed the homeowner to say we felt this was not a fair additional charge and she did not respond. After our stay the homeowner refused to refund the “additional guest” charge – RENTER BEWARE – make sure you check your invoice carefully before committing to this property. The house is advertised to accommodate 10 people – two beds are in the living and dining room. One of the rooms (off the kitchen) does not have doors but has curtains over the doorways. Our party of five adults and one child arrived at the house mid-afternoon. The driveway to the house is long, gravel, and extremely poorly graded. The ruts are significant so be careful driving. There is a gate before you can get into the house. The code for the gate was not as stated on the VRBO app, neither was the house code so make sure you get the correct codes in advance. We had to enlist the neighbor’s assistance because the phone numbers for the homeowner on the VRBO app were wrong – one went to a voice mail that was not set up, the other was a number no longer in service. The neighbor was able to get ahold of the caretaker who gave us the correct codes. The house has four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a small dining area, and a kitchen which worked well for us. It is well supplied with dishes – although the frying pans were in rough shape. The kitchen was overrun with ants coming through the closed window above the sink when we were there. The first bathroom had two sinks, but only one had water which was cold. It also has a large tub with a hand sprayer – only one shower in the house. Towels were plentiful. The other bathroom equipped with a shower worked well. Beds were comfortable. Outdoor decks were available, but because of heat and smoke from nearby fires, not very useable. The exterior of the house is parched – the lawn is brown, dead grass/weeds. The view of the mountains from the living room was lovely. We would not rent from this homeowner again – did not feel her pricing was upfront.

This person was angry from smoke, not fees or our house. We have 6 beds, 4 in rooms and 2 day beds, as well as a couch and love seat. The day bed is great for watching tv or sleeping by the fire. The bedrooms can sleep 8 to 9 in beds and the extra bunking areas are for larger families who want to bring more people and are willing to bunk, as we get so many requests for this that we decided to accommodate extra beds.
We have Master King Temperpedic bed and sofa couch. Queen bedroom, third bedroom a King temperpedic, 4th room a Den Office and Queen topper bed with mountain views and access to kitchen and living room but separate.
Not sure what the complaints are about except they were evacuated from one house and got in during emergency needs and were upset about the fires so its seems they are lashing out.There is no grass for anyone in the sierras at the mountains although it is brown most everywhere summers in California except suburbs with sprinklers. I reduced our price so we can sleep couples for $100 less per night since at times we have a couples, or singles wanting to stay. Our price is mid low range for upgraded home that is remodeled. The review is speaking to the rolling hill is not green in July heat, but we have springs and a well with the best drinkable pure springwater you will drink or bath in w the jacuzzi tub which has an extra shower head to rinse your hair while bathing and a second bathroom has a full slate stone shower.
Bathrooms have dual sink vanities. Hardwood oak floors, Newer travertine marble in kitchens & bathrooms. Decks in front and back. In the moutains the elements can take some fading to decks and paints but we seal our deck with clear sealant rather than paint which can show wood imperfections. Homes here are painted every 10 to 15 years. We will do some painting in a year or two time wise. The home still looks good and it is the mountain weather. It is 2500 sq foot, 5 acre home with moderate pricing. We discount for less occupants and offer that special online so not sure why the fee by occupants is bad as it allows discounts for less people and the same price for the large groups as we have offered the last 10 years and less than the hotels. Please disregard the complaint as a real problem, the property is 1/10 mi off main road and 1 mi to Rangers station and grocery, restaurant and shops and 3/10 mi to swimming river, 2 miles to manzanita lake, 5 mil to bass lake and 12 miles to Redinger lake, and 26 miles to park.

Great for our family vacation!
The property was as described and fully stocked with everything my small family needed for our stay. Communication with property owners was easy and helpful. We were able to cook most our meals at home and watch many movies just as we had planned. Everyone was very comfortable throughout our stay. We enjoyed the easy access to snow play, stores and restaurants.

Awesome getaway in North Fork
Enjoyed a wonderful time in this lovely home for a week. Now wishing we stayed just a couple more days! Huge house on a large lot, surrounded by manzanita trees and had all the amenities we needed. Great location and close to several points of interest to check out. Creek/community center across the street is awesome and kids had a blast.
Lisa (owner) was very helpful and shared insight with local spots and contacts. Property is well kept and a great, base retreat close to southern entrance to Yosemite about 30mins drive. Thanks for an incredible time!

Great location - house needs work
This home a good central location for all that this area has to offer. The house itself needs TLC. To note - the master bathroom has a shower, the hallway bathroom is just the jacuzzi tub, and there is no 'half bath'. Tidy home, but not very clean. Broken chairs in the front lawn, a broken grill and bicycle in the back. Owner is very nice and attentive, but this property needs some attention.

Guest did not leave house clean full of dog hair and water damage. She inspected moutain 5 acreage as if this is the city but we are yosemite outdoors. We have over 15 chairs and two were out on the hill away from the house but were hit by winds and easily removed and not a real issue. We have two full bathrooms, each with two sinks and one with a jacuzzi tub and both have a commode so to say there is no 1/2 bath sounds confusing. We do have an extra 1/2 bath in the garage studio if its rented as an extra in snowstorms . There is no broken grill we have a gas grill and store a charcoal grill behind the house. We do have a bicycle by the garage, I am not sure why that means, work. This guest brought two hairy dogs and broke my septic system and reported the toilet was running only after leaving and coming home causing $500 in water damage so I guess they had to put us on the defense as the previous reviews, people see the beauty of a good home as it is and dont have to attack outside sitting lawn chairs or bikes that have nothing to do with the granite kitchen and upgrades throughout the home. There is a 1/2 bath in the garage when folks rent the garage by request in winter. I hope you know the home is nicer upgrades inside and fully functional and the nicest black granite and yosemite stone kitchen of any of my other million dollar homes, this is a really nice cabin but it is on 5 acres of trees and foliage with great views and privacy yet close to town and the main road. We had to give the guest a 1 star as they also removed our security system. Please note the previous 5 star review, so you know the house is a good house, these complaint of guests are all superficial and nonsense. However, I will check the chairs and have plenty for your stay every time.

Quiet and private slice of heaven.
Great experience overall with this property. Owner is very tentative and communicated everything both to entice her home as a choice and to ensure a smooth and enjoyable stay. The property itself is very special. Its secluded, quiet, rustic, and feels like home.
The upgrades to the home bring the best of the modern world blended in with the cozy feeling of a true mountain cabin. A terrible storm hit the area leaving all of North Fork and Bass Lake without power. Having a fireplace was a life saver. The day with no power using candles and the fireplace actually was the best part of the trip. The family was definitely off the grid enjoying time together undistracted from anything else. Was a special time..being able to bring my dog was a bonus. Entry and exit was very easy and everything promised was as promised...
I highly recommend this home for a private getaway with plenty of room for 10+ and your dog..5 minutes to Bass Lake. 5 minutes to a local store. Great cell phone coverage. Excellent wi-fi and clean comfortable bedding. Property owner has other homes for rent including a Hawaiian masterpiece I cant wait to take my family to.

Wakova Lane in North Fork
This was a family holiday celebration; ten folks across three generations and a pup. Most of what this visit was about was group cooking in the kitchen, places for games, and just general catching up and this house is perfect for that. Everyone had great sleep accommodations, and with this big a family folks could find their space when they needed it. Setting was idyllic, even tho a rather serious storm had blown in.

Beautiful place, quiet and safe
I recommend this cabin, whoever is looking for a marvelous time I recommend this cabin by the woods. There’s peace around the cabin and lots of space. Exceptional for kids, and adults, I was there for Christmas there is nothing like this place all quite come and enjoy the nature.

The views go on forever! the quiet is wonderful! This is first class ambiance !
A simple quick call to the caretaker and we were let in to this paradise.
From the dream kitchen to the hardwood floors and all the space for sleeping, this house is well appointed. Great internet reception too!
There was just 2 of us however we may invite our friends up for a great long weekend! We loved using the decks and just relaxing. Having the lake just a short walk was icing on the cake! We will be back. Hopefully next time for a longer stay.

Beautiful Home, Lovely Stay
My family and I really enjoyed our stay here at this beautiful rustic home with a modern twist. It was the perfect getaway for all of us, and one of the nicest vacations we've ever had.
Many people love a tropical vacation, but we decided to try the mountains for a change. It is just as relaxing as a vacation by the beach, but it has such majestic views. So different, yet so captivating, and easy to enjoy on the wrap-around porch, particularly star gazing at night.
The large lot makes the ranch feel remote; no people around to bother you here. Many trees provide lots of privacy, both inside and outside of the home. Yet it's very close to so many attractions and things to do. We had a great time visiting the park and fishing and swimming in the rivers and lakes.
We all have busy lives at home, so we made sure to take time to just "chill" inside the beautiful open house, which provided for all our needs. It is beautifully decorated, has a convenient floor layout, and feels very spacious with the vaulted ceilings.
There are plenty of bedrooms, all with comfortable beds, and I loved the interesting artwork throughout the house. There are even extra beds in case you fall asleep in front of the TV. The kids were happy to have cable TV to watch and of course internet to keep in touch with their friends.
I couldn't have been happier with the big open modern kitchen, which has all the supplies and amenities you'd ever need. I was impressed that we had access to pure clean water from the well on the property. And it is just a few minutes drive to the local grocery store.
We enjoyed the cozy feel of the wood stove in the evening. Most of all, we felt a closeness with nature at this lovely mountain hide-away.
We had no problems with the owners who provided excellent service for our stay. I'm looking forward to returning again in the future.

Peaceful Private Retreat!
This house provides the perfect environment to relax. Extremely quiet and secluded, it is the ideal place to get away from the city and completely unwind. The kitchen is fully equipped and it is fantastic for those who love to cook. The view of the stars at night from the porch are amazing!!!! Would love to visit again someday.

Perfect Short Vacation for Our Family
We enjoyed the house, the views, the property, and visiting Yosemite! The caretakers and Liza were very responsive and helpful! Perfect time to visit without the crowd. The house needed minor improvements on cleaning in the bathrooms and I would recommend adding a fitted sheet to the master room mattress as the sheet kept slipping off. We would love to visit again and stay here to see more of the area, hike, and fish.

Stargazing House
Beautiful mtn home. Young modern decor. Great porch for star gazing. A few suggestions : more lights needed in living and dining rooms. Too dark to read or do needlework. Unappreciative $ signage for broken or mismanaged items. Almost terrible results for communication when we couldn't access the driveway and house locks! Nobody said locks would be changed after we printed out the instructions from home months ago.
Thank God we found a neighbor home. Overall great stay.

Lovely!
Fabulous, beautiful and comfy home! Owners were very easy to work with and they were always very responsive and helpful! The interior and exterior spaces were large enough for all 10 of my family members. Could have used 1 more shower in the house, but other than that it worked very well for us. The only other advise I have is plan on lots of drive time. We found that we spent lots of time in the car on the way to destinations. Bass lake however wa very close and was one of the coolest days we had!

Comfortable Beautiful House/close to town/swimming/lake/30 min to entrance
We love to cook and be comfortable on our vacations. I picked this house and have visited several times both summer and winter. I was referred by my realtor who also vacations here. The granite counters are beautiful and we love the slate shower feeling of rock and stone in the area. Spacious with vaulted high ceilings and fans in every room and AC so we never get hot. The stars on the deck at night are amazing.
There was two King beds memory foam and all beds had toppers so we were able to have more adults and extra den and beds for kids to kick back and watch tv or hang out while I cooked. The kitchen connects with the dining room and living room while cooking, with a serving glass extra counter so we could pass out the food plates and my kids serve us! The house was very clean and had large rattan mats which we like a lot as when we were here in the past the wood was nice but exposed so it makes it easier for us to take off our shoes. The master has a serene window of many manzanita trees.
We had privacy and yet were less than a mile to the ranger station and we swam every day at the best local swimming hole the owners neighbors share with the locals as well as is a national US spot for the State Loggers Jamboree in july which we have come to a few times and then found this home only 3/10 mile from that river. We like to hike and swim at bass lake, and the grill there is excellent so we had the best of both worlds. The park is only 1/2 hour to the south entrance and the train is before that. We go up east to the Yosemite Scenic by way loop, as my husband likes all the off the beat rivers and redinger lake for less crowded areas as well as we love the park, both the inside borders and this gem, area called Yosemite scenic by way loop which also leads to mammoth pools and hot springs easily. One has to educate one self as there is so much to do as well as Shaver Lake, and two other parks Kings Canyon and The Seqoia park. The south entrance we enjoyed the most as you dont have to drive far to the Giant Grizzy sequoias, and we also enjoyed the Shopping in Oakhusrt has a huge grocery store as well as a market one mile from the house. We have become friends with the owners and staff and come often. I wrote our review write away as we do on our way out and saw the previous review and felt to let others know this is not a dusty cabin but a pretty well kept mountain home modest, nice beds and furnishings, a good desk! great internet and cable. ADORABLE.
