This is an âoasisâ, a place to give you some refuge and relief from the chaos of everyday life. Unwind at this cozy, welcoming and newly renovated cottage right on the Main Strip of Grand Bend! Enjoy your day by walking down the vibrant main strip for quality drinks and food, and relaxing on the beach which is approximately a 5 minute walk.
Highly recommended this wonderful place with great hosts! Ideal location, beautiful space and thorough communication make this an obvious choice for us when we come back to Grand Bend!
Host was very helpful. The place is very clean and comfortable and in the heart of town. Sleeping quarters and bedding high quality. Kitchen is well equipped.
We loved our mini vacation during our vacation from BC! The place was the best location. Any or all of our needs were met and then some. The host was very quick to respond with a solution to all of our questions.
What an amazing place! I loved the large private backyard. The gazebo and outdoor furniture was so relaxing! The place was spotless when we came, and the hosts left us with everything we needed. It was very cozy and comfortable and we could not have asked for anything more. I highly recommend this cottage to anyone coming to stay in Grand bend. The location is amazing, and everything is within walking distance.
It was very clean but did not have a fridge or stove. Due to slightly off-season, most stores and restaurants were closed. The location was handy as it was only a 5 min walk to the beach. Great bedrooms. The shower was very high off the floor? The renter was very polite and easy to deal with.
This is a clean, bright two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment with a backyard. My wife and I were staying in town less for a vacation than for work, but for 2 to 6 young people in Grand Bend for a fun weekend or a few days off, this would be a great place to stay for easy access to the downtown and to the beach. Park the car and forget about it - you can walk where you need to go. The host was very responsive and conscientious.

False Advertising
This property was falsely advertised and our vacation was severely impacted. The Owner was not helpful at all. The ad states the property had a fridge and bbq grill on site. It does NOT have a bbq grill. When the Owner was asked about this, his response was to use to firepit in the back yard. It also does NOT have a reasonable fridge or working freezer. There are two small âbeer fridgesâ and neither of the freezer sections worked. When the Owner was asked about this, he had nothing to offer, even after I explained that all our freezer food was melting and therefore had to be thrown out. We lost half the food we brought and were forced to eat at restaurants since we had no food and nowhere to even cook without an oven/stove. The Ownerâs only suggestion was to use the air fryer. When I finally found it, it was dirty and beside a wooden cutting board that had black and green mold on it. Additionally, the location was kept very secretive. Before booking I had asked for a photo of the front entrance, I was told no due to privacy reasons. I then asked for a description to ensure my aging mother could access easily. At no point did the Owner explain the location was behind/squished in between RESTAURANTS. You can only access the cottage from the back. It was incredibly noisy at night due to the music from next door and the smell of Beaver Tails seeping in. The location was awful for my children to sleep. Also, the back gate didnât close properly or lock. Waste of a trip and money.
We enjoyed our stay at this smartly decorated cottage. It is very convenient to the main street and the beach, no need to take the car, lots of restaurants and pubs. Also a short drive to Pinery Provincial Park which had great hiking.
The property is at the back of a store and is older, but has been updated in a bright and cheerful way. We were 4 adults (senior couple, 2 adult children) so having two separate toilets with sinks and a separate shower room was very convenient.
We did a small amount of cooking and found the kitchenette well-appointed, but there is no oven (we used the air fryer to roast some veggies) and we could have used a sharper knife (or sharpener) and a grater. We had a little fire outside in the chiminea the first night, firewood was provided but we had to hunt around for kindling.
The host responded quickly to a couple of minor things. The power was out when we arrived because they were doing work in the attached store. The host was very apologetic and emailed $50 to go out for some food until that was remedied. Some of the outdoor furniture was locked up - someone came in a couple of hours to free it.
Our only real complaint was the sleeping arrangement in the living room. The description said 2 double beds but they were in fact 2 pull-out folding couches. My son (26 and 6 ft tall) found the sleeping very uncomfortable. It would probably be fine for kids. The cottage is not very soundproof especially in the bedroom close to the street.
