Welcome to Snapper House - this beautifully presented beach house in Central Point Lookout that is only a short walk to beaches, shops and Island transport. With an open plan living, dining and entertaining this is a great place for your Straddie family holiday.

Bed One: 1 x queen with ensuite;
Bed Two: 1 x double and 1 x King Single with ensuite and walk in robe;
Bed Three: Guest wing with 1 x queen, with bathroom/laundry.
- Fully equipped kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, gas stove, oven, coffee machine (Lavazza Blue), toaster and kettle;
- Large open plan living and dining, opening fully out onto an expansive deck and outdoor dining area, with tranquil bush and garden views;
- All bedrooms are air-conditioned, and the living/dining/kitchen area can be fully opened up to capture cooling breezes (also has ceiling fans);

- Bush track to lighthouse and new whale watching platform on the Coastal Panorama Walk.

Home away from home.

Escape to Stradbroke

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was minutes from all the things to do when you visit North Stradbroke Island. Whale watching everyday, walks along the beach and coastal cliff walks, kangaroos in the backyard and turtles in the gorge. The house was delightful and very family friendly. Bedrooms spaced out and all with en-suite facilities and very comfortable beds. A delightful open family and dining area with full kitchen facilities. A brilliant our door decking area across the back of the house and an outdoor shower for the trips back from the beach. Close to cafes, eateries and public transport. A delightful stay and highly recommended.

Nice location,

Location was great, cleanliness not amazing glad I took all my own bedding and pillows as some pillows had stains on them. Needs some kind of curtains or blinds in the main living area. All windows and window areas need a good clean as it was very dusty.

Snapper House - Lovely but NO Aircon

We loved the open spaces, equipped kitchen and big back deck. We loved the access to Frenchman's and the short walk to shops. Lovely personal touches of toiletries, laundry and BBQ items etc. We suggest some sealable plasticware for food leftovers or picnics and it also needs a 2nd couch. Our biggest problem was the false advertising of 3 air conditioners. Two of them blew hot air and the other only worked on a low fan speed so took hours to cool down. Even when we notified Ray White after the first night, NOTHING, was done. Sleeping was so hot and uncomfortable, we left 2 days early which was a very disappointing end to our holiday. If the aircons had been functioning or fixed immediately, we would have highly recommended this house to friends and returned for future stays.
