This stylish, 2br/2ba ground floor unit in Runaway Bay is just steps from the bay and kayak launch, and only one building away from the crosswalk to your private, 6-mile stretch of beach alongside the sparkling, sapphire Gulf.

The fully updated condo has a screened-in, furnished patio and direct access to a large backyard/common area with grills and views of the bay through lush mangroves. The unit is close to the gym, fishing pier, tennis/pickleball courts, picnic area, and swimming pool (largest heated saltwater pool on the island!) Amenities abound here at Runaway Bay!

Sliding glass doors from the living room open out to the screened-in lanai with access to the backyard.

Kitchen:
Newly remodeled and fully-equipped designer kitchen has French white cabinets, quartz countertops, glass top stove, a full-size fridge/freezer combo with ice maker, a microwave, dishwasher, oven, and double basin sink. Plenty of counter space! Additional items include drip coffee maker and Keurig, toaster, blender, etc. Just off the kitchen is a washer and dryer.

Outdoor Amenities:
This stylish, ground-floor condo has a screened-in lanai with patio furniture. A great spot to enjoy the ocean breeze as you sip your morning cappuccino or evening cocktail! The lanai has a beach closet that is stocked with beach wagons, chairs, fishing rods, floats, and toys. The lanai opens out to the lush backyard common space with grills. This backyard space is a great place for kids to play.

Access to resort-style amenities is the real incentive to escape to Runaway Bay! Enjoy private beach/deeded beach access directly across the street. Swim in the largest, heated, salt-water pool on the island, play on the tennis/pickleball courts, or in the shuffleboard/bocce ball area. Work out in the gym, fish off the pier, or tie up at the private boat dock. Dining, entertainment and nightlife are just a few moments' stroll from this convenient ground-floor unit.

The beaches of Anna Maria flaunt the prettiest seashells in Florida. Anna Maria is also a top US location for rare seashells.

The Neighborhood:

Nestled on the Bay of Anna Maria Island, and just across the street from the Gulf of Mexico, this ground-floor condo truly is a little spot of coastal heaven. Start your day watching sunrise over the bay on the community dock; end your day watching a stunning sunset on the beach. The common grassy area in the back also is a great space for kids to play. Set up some yard games!

Swim in the turquoise Gulf of Mexico where dolphins play daily. Bring your fishing gear to cast a line off the pier, or rent a boat to get out on deep water and fish. Walk to 14 different restaurants! Prime location offers an easy stroll to boutiques, entertainment, grocery market, and pharmacy. Nearby are boat rentals, sunset cruises, as well as jet ski, bike, paddleboard, scooter, and kayak rentals.

This seven-mile barrier island is Florida’s best-kept secret. There’s a saying here; “when you're on Anna Maria Island, you don’t go to the beach… because on Anna Maria Island, you’re already at the beach.”

The Island in the Sun is Florida’s best-kept secret. With Gulf temperatures averaging 84 degrees and 360 days of sunshine per year the surrounding waters of AMI are known as “the nursery” because of the large number of dolphins that raise their young here.

With the island’s laid-back charm and leisurely unhurried living, speed limits are restricted to 25 mph - 35 mph throughout most of the island. This tropical paradise also offers free trolley service for both tourists and residents.

Be sure to visit Anna Maria City Pier! Built in the early 1900s, this 700-foot-long pier provides a great vantage point for watching sunrises and sunsets, bird watching, dolphin watching, and provides views of Tampa Bay and the Sunshine Skyway Bridge. You can also fish off this pier.

Bridge Street Pier, located on the southern end of the island in Bradenton Beach, honors the past while still embracing the future with its ‘Old Florida’ charm mixed with new restaurants, shops, galleries, and more.

The island, surrounded by water and interlaced with canals, is host to many amazing sea creatures - among them are Loggerhead Turtles, Manatees, and dolphins. Loggerhead turtles are a protected species and we have the Turtle Watch - a group of wonderful folks who search the beaches for nests and protect those nests until the eggs hatch (it is illegal for anyone to tamper with the nests). Manatees are also protected here in Florida - they are commonly seen in the summer when they leave their winter warm waters and migrate south.
