*Home Truths:* - You must be 25 years or older to book this home. - Please note that Early Check-In (ECI) and Late Check-Out (LCO) services are not available from May to September. - Guests must supply their own beach/pool towels. - Beach chairs/toys are not included at this property. All reservations between 4-28 nights come with a $250 beach gear credit with VaykGear. Guests will be able to reserve gear after booking. - From May-September, guests will need a pool pass for Shipwatch pool access. (Not needed off-season.) The pools are open year round but are not heated. - Unfortunately, pets and ESAs are not allowed in this home. If undisclosed animals are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval, there is a fine of $500 per pet. - Fireplaces are not for guest use. - Golf carts are not allowed at this complex. - Trailers and motorcycles are not allowed inside Wild Dunes. - Guests have access to the Shipwatch pool, and to the cafes and restaurants at Wild Dunes. Any other amenities or recreation at Wild Dunes, including golf, tennis or the spa, must be booked separately. - Please note that due to natural coastal conditions, beach areas may experience periodic erosion that can affect shoreline size and accessibility. During periods of high tide, portions of the beach—or the entire beach—may be temporarily inaccessible. We are not able to guarantee identical beach conditions for future stays, and refunds or relocations will not be available due to these natural changes. - While we do our best to communicate any known work within Wild Dunes or nearby beach projects, many homes are privately owned and we are not always notified of surrounding activity. As a result, we are unable to guarantee a disruption-free environment or offer relocation for any unforeseen construction.
*Parking Details:* - There are 2 parking spaces available. Parking in Shipwatch is first come first serve. - To gain access to Wild Dunes, the guest will need a car pass. Passes will be emailed to the guest before their arrival.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.
As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.
Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.
There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff.
We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.
As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.
IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 28 days require a security deposit.

Our family enjoyed our stay in 303A during the first week in September. The condo was clean, well maintained, and well appointed. The pictures do not do it justice! We would definitely book this one again.

Our stay at Wild Dunes was absolutely wonderful. The condo was located in a great location and was exactly as advertised. Well equipped and very comfortable. Kitchen layout was perfect.
Unsure why, but cookware and dishware needed to be cleaned prior to using. There was food residue on much of the cookware and the dishware had a greasy feel to it. We ran all items we planned to use through the dishwasher on the highest cleaning level prior to and after our use.

Convenient location
We loved how convenient this condo was to both the pool and beach. We have 2 young kids so that was important to us. The view was amazing and the condo had all of the basics that we needed for the week. However, we received warnings for leaving flip flops outside the door for a few minutes, and someone yelled at us for pulling into the parking garage without a pass (we just hadn’t put it on the dash yet, we did so as soon as we parked). These types of communications from the strict HOA made us feel a bit unwelcome. And I sent multiple messages in the week leading up via the app that went unanswered, which was concerning. Overall these were frustrating but wouldn’t prevent us from renting again in the future. Being able to order beach gear to be delivered to the condo was very convenient, too.

Enjoyed our stay!
Three adults stayed at the condo in October 2023. We enjoyed our stay. The pros were the fabulous ocean view, the location of the condo in IOP, the updated kitchen and washer and dryer. We loved that there are two bedrooms and two baths. The ocean was just a short walk away. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, etc. This would make it easy to cook if you wanted to. There is nothing stocked in the kitchen as far as condiments. No sugar, no salt and pepper, etc. it would be nice to have some condiments provided.
The bed in the guest room was uncomfortable and the pillows provided for both bedrooms were just very flat.
Thankfully the condo was ready at 4:00 and we could get in by then. Having to wait until 6:00 would have been very inconvenient.
Construction was being done near the D building which meant there was constant noise when sitting on the beach. Can’t imagine actually living in the D building with all the noise. Thankfully the noise did not penetrate the A building.
All in all we enjoyed our time at this condo.

Clean but needs updating
This rental was fabulous from the perspective of location, views and accessibility to the beach. We have been to IOP several times and this was one of the best locations we have stayed in.
Given all that, this particular unit needs work. On the plus side it was very functional and clean. The seating area was comfortable and roomy for 2-4 people. The kitchen appears to have new appliances but the countertops and cabinets are showing their age. The master bedroom was comfortable and clean
The biggest issue we had was the Master Bathroom. The shower is elevated approximately 1 foot above the floor. It is a weird layout. Getting out of the shower you have to step down from the slippery shower floor more than a typical step. If you have any accessibility issues this won't work for you. There is a musty smell coming from the shower (it is a 100% enclosed space) and you can see where the paint inside the shower is bubbling. Additionally, there are no towel racks or toilet paper holder in the master bathroom. The countertops and sinks need updating.
I know we sound negative, but we did have a great weekend. Given some love and attention, this would be a great condo. We would return once the investments in updating the property have been completed.

Beautiful view/Great location
We stayed the week of Tropical Storm Debby. We enjoyed the clean and comfortable accommodations in the condo all week and the beautiful ocean views throughout the changing weather. Most days were not great beach days, but we made the most of it and enjoyed the lighter than average crowds.
Our main dislike was the lack of a working elevator - due to something presumably storm-related. Communication wasn't the best about when/if it would be fixed - we got a txt after it had been broken down for a couple of days saying that it wouldn't be fixed until the next week. Later, once home, we got notice that we would get a small credit. During most of our stay, we had to trek up and down several flights of stairs each time we came and went, including when packing up to leave, which was not ideal. The stairwell was dirty with no ventilation, and it was not cleaned all week - we saw the same dead lizard and puddle of dirty leaves each time coming and going. Probably this is not a frequent problem for this property, but for us, it was pretty unpleasant. Other concerns included maintenance people entering the unit without knocking, and a pool gate out of service throughout the week, which required us to walk around the pool to an entrance farther away. Not a huge deal, but an inconvenience that wasn't fixed all week. Check in and check out were smooth, and parking was not a problem. We rented bikes and enjoyed riding them through the neighborhood one day when the weather allowed.
