Latigo Lookout is located in an extremely desirable and prime Steamboat neighborhood. There are only a dozen townhomes in this private, quiet loop and you are within walking distance to the Steamboat base area.

Latigo Lookout itself is a spacious, 3 level, recently remodeled townhome offering a private hot tub with amazing slope views, multiple decks, a 2 car attached garage and much more.

Ideal for families or couples, this 1,632 sq ft three bedroom plus loft, four bathroom townhome is well appointed and beautifully updated in a rocky mountain modern style and makes the perfect Steamboat vacation rental.

You are close enough to walk to skiing in the winter and the Steamboat ‘beach’ in the summer, as well as restaurants, pubs and shopping year-round. You also have the convenience of being only a few minute or so walk away from the YEAR-ROUND free bus stop to the mountain, town, grocery stores and more.

Enter Latigo Lookout on the ground level through the front door or the attached garage, where you will find plenty of storage for coats, boots, gloves, etc. There are boot dryers in the garage!

On this level you will find two bedrooms. One is the queen en suite, which offers lots of storage (closet and dresser), small tv and a stunning private full bathroom with a walk in shower. The other is the bunk room with a two twin bunk beds (four twin beds), tv and lots of storage (closet and dresser). There is another full bathroom in the hallway with a tub/shower combo.

At the end of the hallway on this level is a cute back patio with furniture that leads to the walking trails and a nice maintained garden area. The full size washer and dryer are also on this level.

Up a flight of stairs is the main level, offering a roomy living area with mountain views and the master en suite. The updated full kitchen features, gorgeous stone countertops, brand new stainless appliances and modern mountain-style wood cabinetry and just about every small appliance and other kitchen item you can imagine. It is completely stocked with everything you'll need to stay in and make a meal.

The bright, well lit living space also offers lots of windows, a vaulted ceiling and plenty of comfortable seating and entertainment. Kick back on the large leather sectional and watch a game, movie or show on the flat screen TV. There is also a gas fireplace that will keep you toasty in the winter. There is a ceiling fan to keep you cool in the summer.

For meals and games, you have a nice sized dining table with six chairs. There are also four more chairs at the kitchen island that makes a nice extra dining area. Both areas offer a great place to do a puzzle, play a game or set up your workstation. Combined with high speed wifi, the Latigo Lookout makes a great spot for your remote working needs.

Right off the living area is a covered deck with panoramic and unforgettable mountain views. It is an alluring and peaceful setting also on green space with lots of trees, a gas grill and two benches. Enjoy the mountain fresh air with the beverage of your choice. Depending on the time of year, don’t be surprised if you get to see a moose, elk, bear or fox!

Also off of the living area is the master suite, which provides a comfy king bed, lots of storage (walk-in closet and dresser), a tv and access to the master bathroom. It has been fabulously remodeled and offers a walk in shower. This bathroom has a second entrance from the living area and doubles as the main level powder room, is able to close off from the master.

The hot tub deck is accessed via both the living area and master suite. Along with the hot tub and spectacular slope views, there is an outdoor dining table and chairs.

One flight up from the living area is the loft en suite which offers a queen bed, drawers, a hanging rod and private en suite bathroom with a walk in shower.

The two car, attached garage, provides parking as well as great storage for skis, snowboards, bikes and more. One additional parking spot on the driveway is available. No street parking and no RVs, campers, trailers, etc are allowed to be parked on the driveway or street per the neighborhood HOA.

Most mountain residences, including this property, do not have air conditioning. Fans are provided for your comfort.

Originally started as a summer resort destination, Steamboat has become renowned for its world-class skiing and mountain biking options. And your Steamboat vacation rental will put your family in the middle of it all.

Winter activities include skiing, snowmobiling, snowboarding, biking, sledding and fishing. The city houses two ski areas – Steamboat and Howelsen Hill, Colorado's oldest continuously operated ski area. Or simply play in the smooth, dry snow, referred to as Champagne Powder, for which Steamboat is known.

Mountain biking is huge in Steamboat. Known as Bike Town USA, the city has trails for all ages and skill levels. Hundreds of miles of single track, as well as over 50 miles of downhill and freeride terrain.

Great townhouse for a couple of families

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this townhouse in Steamboat. The newly remodeled unit was really nice with a well appointed kitchen and beautiful bathrooms. The shuttle was super convenient and easy to schedule. Having a 2 car garage was amazing and a great place to store our gear. The hot tub was key after a long day on the slopes. I would definitely stay here again!

Cozy, spacious, updated property with noce decks and private hot tub.

Eight total guests. Plenty of room, both for dining and sleeping, with nice views of mountain while in a neighborhood. Very convenient for public transit. Short drive to slopes if you drive.

Excellent Home for Big Groups

This home was perfect for our big group of skiers. The house was comfortable in all aspects including number of beds, bathrooms, couch space, and dining room chairs! The bus system was easy to navigate in order to get to and from the mountain and the hot tub was the perfect end to each of our ski days! We also LOVED the book drying system in the garage. I would definitely recommend this house for big groups and I will gladly be returning next winter!

Awesome rental

My friends and I had a wonderful time staying at this rental property. The house was clean and well decorated. The property managers were extremely communicative and it was very easy to get rides from the local shuttle for the rental property. We did have a small issue with the oven but they sent out someone immediately to fix it ! I will definitely return to this property 😁

Winter visit

Everything was fine except for the lighting and the kitchen could have used more glasses. There was not enough lighting in any of the bedrooms nor in the siiting portion of the living area lighting was adequate in the kitchen and dining areas The management company communicated very well with us The master bath was great The area around the condo was great for the children in our family to play in the snow

Fantastic Property

Latigo Lookout is a fabulous property close to the centre of Steamboat Ski resort. We were a family group of six adults (3 couples) and loved the way the space worked for us. The two double bedrooms and mezzanine double all with en-suites were all fantastically well equipped. Lots of storage, hangers, extra bedding, etc. beds were extremely comfortable and linen was lovely quality. Plenty of towels of a good size provided too. The living area comfortably worked for our group. We made good use of the spacious dining area, breakfast bar and lounge area. The fridge was large, oven and hob large and good quality. We loved the plentiful supply of basics like dishwasher capsules. Bin bags etc and we’re glad of basics in the food cupboard like salt pepper oil. Lots of lovely China, glass, utensils, pans etc. we cooked several nights and had everything we needed. So nice to have serving dishes that were really useable like the lasagne size dishes. The downstairs utility/wash room was great with large machine and dryer as well as wash liquid tabs. Lots of coat/sallopette hooks downstairs. We recommend bringing slippers for comfort around the house. The large garage not only fits two cars but has great ski equipment storage and we loved the chairs for sitting on to boot up! The air bot dryer/heater system is excellent. Outside we loved the hot tub at the end of a days skiing. Some holiday homes are a bit bland but this has heaps of personality and lots of really homely touches. The area had the advantage of being in a super peaceful location with great views but still really close to the amenities. Mostly we used the free steamboat bus service to the slopes which runs extremely efficiently every 15 minutes even after a 7inch snowfall. We did use the itrip shuttle a couple of evenings which worked well. We had a car to drive up from Denver airport which was a fabulous drive, but you could easily manage without a car. We loved the resort and the town with heaps of great food options. Definitely something for everyone. All of the staff and people we interacted with- ski hire, lessons etc, were incredibly helpful and nothing was too much trouble. All in all an awesome property and a fantastic holiday.

Great townhome!

Let me start off by saying how amazing the shuttle service was! Super easy to get to the ski resort/restaurants/ bars all throughout the city. All you had to do was text the number an hour in advance and schedule a pickup time and they showed up right to the door. This alone made staying with ITrips worth it. This easily accommodated 3 couples and could’ve fit more. 2 bedrooms/2 bathrooms downstairs when you walk in (bunk room/queen bed) then a king bedroom on the second (main) level, then a loft bedroom on the third level with its own bathroom. The views from the hottub were amazing , only thing that was disappointing was it wasn’t fully covered so we weren’t able to use any of the furniture out there because it was covered in snow. There was a shovel that we could’ve used to get it all off but we were too lazy. There was another patio on the opposite side that was covered with furniture. The living area on the second level was more than big enough for our group of friends, and could’ve easily fit more than 6 people. Definitely will be staying again.
