This property features a main house and 3 private cabins for up to 14 guests to enjoy their own piece of the farm! D2 Farms allows you to have a unique farm experience with your family and friends, with all the fun and none of the work! Stop by the onsite farm for exciting tours, tasty treats, and delicious drinks! D2 Farms puts a clever and fun spin on your next family vacation in Wimberley!

Fixed with a gate at the entrance, guests make their way down the private drive of D2 Farms to the impressive Main House and cabins. Entering into the Main House, there is something familiar and welcoming about this space. This home invites you in with soft whites paired with warm accents and wooden textures. The entryway greets you with a unique custom bench, asking you to take your shoes off and stay a while! Walking into the living area, natural light pools into the room through beautiful windows that line the walls. Beam-lined ceilings guide your eyes upward, opening up this space even more! Comfortable sofas and chic leather chairs allow you to gather around the fireplace for a cozy morning, or the large flatscreen television for a movie night! This open concept space flows into the dining room where guests can share a meal together and enjoy the beautiful views this room overlooks! Located off of the main entryway to the home, the kitchen is a true show-stopper! Bringing that chic, modern farmhouse look, this kitchen elevates the entire property to another level! With beautiful stainless steel appliances, gray cabinetry, and shiplap-style ceilings, this space transports you! With unique features such as a double oven, bar-style seating at the island, and a breakfast nook alongside a fireplace, this kitchen makes you feel right at home! This space is complete with a full sized refrigerator, cooktop stove, and dishwasher.

Heading up to the second floor, you will enter into the master suite. This private and spacious room brings luxury to your next vacation! With a king bed, beam-lined vaulted ceilings, and a cute seating area, you can relax beneath the stars in this Wimberley gem! The en-suite bathroom is even more to write home about! With a clawfoot tub, spacious walk-in shower, and a gorgeous double-vanity, you could spend all your time in here and disappear from reality! Bright patterns and golden accents warm this space and allow you to relax or prepare for your next Hill Country adventure! The Main House also features a second bedroom on the 1st floor, complete with a king bed and bay-style windows to wrap you into its cozy atmosphere! The en-suite bathroom features a gorgeous walk-in shower with bold green tiles and light wood accents, grabbing the earthy tones of D2 Farms!

In the backyard, guests get a gorgeous view of the Hill Country while relaxing in the large inground swimming pool! This outdoor space is perfect for families to spend their time during the day as the patio features picnic tables for everyone to enjoy a meal in the beautiful Wimberley weather! At night, parents can grab their favorite cocktail and take a dip in the hot tub after a long day. Families are also encouraged to share their favorite stories while roasting marshmallows around the firepit!

Located beneath the mystical trees, the three cabins are just steps away from the Main House! All 3 cabins feature that same comfortable, contemporary, and clean atmosphere! Cabin 1 features 2 bedrooms with separate entrances. Bedroom 1 is complete with a queen bed and lots of natural light. A Jack and Jill-style bathroom connects these two bedrooms and features a spacious walk-in shower. This space meets a modern feel with classic looks, with a retro sink and a stained-glass window alongside fun tiling! Bedroom 2 features a queen bed and a set of bunk beds, following the same style as the rest of the home. This cabin is perfect for a family that’s vacationing within a large group! Cabin 2 is a spacious, one bedroom space featuring a king bed and a cozy seating area, where you can grab your favorite book and relax in the peaceful meadows of the farm! The attached bathroom is complete with a walk-in shower and lovely vanity. This cabin is a perfect romantic couples getaway or a practical stay as well! Cabin 3 is a one bedroom cabin that features a king bed and a roomy attached bathroom! The bathroom is complete with a walk-in shower and a lovely vanity.

Adjacent to the house is a working farm where guests can schedule farm tours and learn something new! Or perhaps you’d enjoy a wine tasting with tastes of farm-grown grapes! Peppers that are grown on the farm are used locally made hot sauce that is available for sale at the farm. Enjoy watching the Polo Ponies frolicking in the fields! The downtown square of Wimberley offers shopping in boutiques and coffee shops for a relaxing stroll around town. You can start your adventure by swimming and hiking at the famous Jacobs Well, fly across the sky at Zip Line Adventure, or drop by Blue Hole Regional Park for swimming and nature trails. If you are looking for outdoor Hill Country fun, Old Hancock Trail is in the area for horseback riding and hiking. You can also enjoy a beach area with swimming and nature trails at Overlook Park, just a short drive away with great views of Canyon Lake as well as the Dam, or rent a pontoon boat or jet ski for the day! Take a day trip to Gruene, home to the historic Gruene Hall, to enjoy music and dancing, or dine at the delicious Gristmill Restaurant. Visit New Braunfels and float the beautiful Guadalupe River. Rent paddle boats or picnic at Landa Park, swim at the Spring Fed Pool, spend the day at Schlitterbahn Water Park, or visit one of the local wineries or breweries for wine or beer tasting.

Family Stay - Enjoyed!

This place is great for a large fam with kids. Close to town. Beautiful scenery. Swimming pool, horses & farm land all around - really peaceful & fun getaway. Nice kitchen!

Check in went smooth after we entered the codes correctly.The main house is very open and beautiful. The kitchen had everything we needed. Loved the front yard with huge shade trees and how the cabins were configured. This trip was for my son's birthday. He and his friends loved the cabins and each having their own beds. Having the extra bathrooms in the cabins was wonderful. I have suggested some outdoor lighting around the pool or in the backyard. My guys wanted to be in the pool all evening and light was lacking.

Great property

We really enjoyed the location and the privacy of this property. The main house and the adjacent cabins provided everyone with their own space. There were a few things lacking in the kitchen-corkscrew, kitchen knives, steak knives, but overall, a great experience. we would stay there again.

Beautiful location, great place for a families of all ages!

We loved our stay at this beautiful ranch! The location was fabulous, pool, hot tub, fire pit, and tree swing were BIG hits for our kiddos! We had a couple things pop up and were able to get David in to resolve the issues quickly-thank you! The option to spread families out across the Cabins made for a comfortable stay. The only feedback I’d provide to make the stay even better, would be for more pots/pans, dish towels/sponges to be stocked in the kitchen. In addition to that, the smell of the water in Cabin 2 was quite stinky. Other than that, highly recommended!

Great weekend in Wimberley

We had an amazing stay despite the cold and rainy weather. Farmer David was very accommodating and still came out To let us feed the horses on a cold & drizzly morning. He also brought the wine & pepper tasting to the house which was nice. The home is beautifully designed and perfect for a stay with multiple families. I highly recommend staying here on your next trip!

Great Place!

Great place and location. Awesome design and furnishings. 3 couples stayed - main house and 2 cabins - thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Great pool. Great house. Kitchen needs a few more pots pans knives if you’re going to cook for a group and one cabin had low water pressure in the shower which the owner explained was a short term issue they were addressing. Would definitely go back!!!

Great family gathering place

Daughter recently graduated college and we needed a place my large family could gather. This was the right place! Easy to book, great communication with property management and a quiet area. Close to Wimberley for shopping and going out which I would highly recommend. Definitely would recommend!!! Thanks for a great stay!

Beyond expectations

We stayed for a wedding in Wimberley. The separate cabins are great for privacy and main house is awesome for gathering with family as well as the pool, hot tub and fire pit. Everything was clean, fresh, pool was great! The grounds and horses were beautiful to take in. Beautiful decor, comfortable beds! Definitely recommend this property.

Eclipse in Wimberly

While the weather was a disappointment for viewing the eclipse, our stay was terrific! Farmer David assisted us in feeding the horses on the property! He also grows peppers and makes amazing hot sauce!

Fantastic friends weekend

We stayed at this property with our family and friends to celebrate Mother's Day and two graduate school graduations. The property is GORGEOUS, peaceful, and only a few minutes from everything in Wimberley. The rooms and cabins were clean and stylish and the house had everything we needed for a fun weekend. Would absolutely recommend this listing to others.

Great rental

Overall a great rental in Wimberly. Photos are accurate and the boys loved the swimming pool. The house is very nicely decorated. If I had to give any suggestion it would be to invest in Starlink internet ($120 a month). It is really reliable and fast unlike the house's current internet.

Great time in the Texas heat

This property was perfect for adults and teenagers. This was a family gathering to celebrate birthdays for two 80 year olds who are younger than their years. The layout provided separation when desired and gathering space too. Swimming pool was very popular in August. The place was clean and well appointed, and just right for a family getaway. One of the key factors was that there were very few steps to negotiate for someone with mobility and climbing limitations. The kitchen was large enough and we cooked every night since getting 9 people to a restaurant was "too hard".

Thanksgiving Family Stay

We absolutely loved this property. It was very clean. But imagine our surprise when we opened the kitchen cabinets and found virtually no pots and pans. There were two very small pots. There were no dish towels, and few cooking utensils. There was not even a can opener. We bought one and left it there. The shower in one of the cabins did not work. I saw these things mentioned in a previous review and the owner stated they were working on it, however it was still in disrepair. The photos of the kitchen are somewhat misleading. It is much smaller than appears online. If you are advertising this rental as a space for large groups, please provide the basics for the kitchen. And hopefully you will get the shower working in the guest cabin.

An OK Property

When we drove up to the house, the front yard was a little overgrown
 With a little yard upkeep and landscaping, the curb appeal would be greatly improved. The main house was nice on the inside but needed some work on the exterior. Cabin 2 water smelled like rotten eggs. The other two cabins were ok. One of the main reasons we selected the property was the pool picture on VRBO, which was very dated and does not accurately reflect what the pool area looks like. The pool area was overgrown with weeds and the bottom of the deep end of the pool was dirty. Overall the property was acceptable, but with just a little TLC, the place could be a Showcase.

Girls' Trip

Great house, beautiful property, perfect set up for our group of nine ladies. Lock boxes were difficult to operate and codes supplied were incorrect but once we spoke with the property manager, fairly easy to resolve. Weather allowed us to enjoy time outdoors - great hot tub, pool and fire pit. Overall five stars and would definitely return. A couple of things were a hassle: the kitchen is fantastic...double oven, nice stove, plenty of counter space but needs to have a some basic utility items to be functional. There was only one knife in the whole joint, no wine bottle opener, very few pots/pans or cookware, no measuring cups, etc. For a property that accommodates that many people, it was very challenging to prep food. Wall outlets in the upstairs bathroom don't work (vanity). Lights above the coffee maker didn't work. Twinkle lights outdoors looked like they would be amazing but couldn't find a way to turn them on.Still had an amazing stay but a few items that feel like no-brainers at a big rental property.
