Amazing and affordable

This house is amazing. The house was clean and has everything you need for a great stay. We had 16 women for a conference in this home and it fit everyone perfectly. There was room to gather together and also room to spread out. The beds were comfortable and it was very clean. There are 3 coffee makers!!!! My teenage daughter really enjoyed the swings on the porch. We will definitely keep this rental in mind if we return for the annual conference again. The owner was so polite and addressed any needs or questions very quickly. This house is perfect!

Great location

Great location! Kitchen well stocked. Clean, but needs a good spring cleaning. Note ALL stairs are VERY steep and back yard slopes straight down to the water, no fence. Overall a great place for adults without disabilities to stay!

From the owner: "Thank you for your review and for staying with us in Murrells Inlet! We agree that the backyard slope is steep, but the water at the edge is shallow. A lot of the homes in Oceanside Village have yards that go straight to the water and many have small hills like ours. We've never had a problem with our kids playing in the area and we consider it a very family-friendly home. Thanks again."

The house was perfect for our family. Check in was little annoying as security did not have my information upon arrival, so I was told to go to a few different places only to get a one day pass to have to go back the next day to get my parking tag for my entire stay. But with all of that Nikki did a great job at communicating the entire time and was available every time I called her throughout the check in process. The house was big and very clean, it was in a great location and the golf cart was a hit. There was plenty of linens, and fully stocked kitchen (both kitchens were fully stocked). We will definitely stay here again.

Senior Trip

We took my son and 7 of his friends, with another family as the boy's senior trip. The property was as listed and in a nice safe HOA. The HOA / Resort had golf carts to rent, which are a must, being the beach is about a mile away, but they golf carts ended up being the boy's best part of the trip. There was a grocery store right across the street, and many other activities close by. The house could have been cleaned a little better prior to our arrival, but Nikki did do a good job getting a repair man over to fix an issue with a running faucet / toilet. Future guests, make sure you check in at least 48hrs prior to your arrival. Thanks again.

Unfortunately Disappointed with Our Stay at Oceanside Villa

We rented this beach house through VRBO, and while we were excited about our vacation, our experience fell short of expectations. Upon arrival, we noticed that the cleanliness of the home left much to be desired. The sheets had hair and crumbs on them, which was quite off-putting. Additionally, there were noticeable stains on the sides of the bed, making it hard to feel comfortable during our stay. To add to our dismay, we encountered bugs throughout the home, which certainly detracted from the beachside experience we were hoping for. We even found dirt and leftover food under the couch and TV stand, including a surprising discovery of an entire slice of old pizza! It was quite shocking to say the least. We also faced difficulty with check-in due to incorrect information provided by the property manager, which caused unnecessary stress to our arrival. To make matters worse, the on-site representatives at Oceanside Villa mentioned they have had ongoing issues with this property manager, which was concerning. We reached out regarding lock codes that were not provided prior to check-in from the property manager. Leading up to our stay, we reached out numerous times to see if we could extend our stay by a day and we were left hanging each time. While we appreciate the location and the potential of the house, the lack of cleanliness and communication truly impacted our stay. We hope these issues can be addressed so future guests can enjoy a much more pleasant experience.
