Oceanfront Home - Cette magnifique maison en bord de mer peut accueillir 20 personnes et dispose de beaucoup d'espace supplémentaire pour les clients autour de la piscine et pour marcher directement de la piscine à la plage. Vous adorerez également les options de plein air pour les loisirs, y compris le grand solarium avant, l'arrière protégé par un porche et la piscine entièrement équipée. Oh, et avons-nous mentionné la fantastique plage juste à l'extérieur de la clôture de la piscine? L'ajout de chaleur à la piscine est également une option sous certaines conditions. Vous pouvez griller à l'extérieur ou cuisiner à l'intérieur avec les nouveaux appareils de cuisine. The perfect vacation. That pretty much is all that needs to be said. Ideal location for any water lover. Extremely friendly and responsive host. Everything you could need is on the property or just a few minutes away. Would recommend to anyone.

Spring Break Trip

Home was in a great location. Right on the beach and in a quiet neighborhood. Perfect access to Myrtle Beach touristy areas and Murrells Inlet. Home was spacious and more than enough room for 9 of us. Screened porch was a bonus living area we used for game night. Pool was a great addition. We had it heated and it was perfect. Any concerns we had were quickly acknowledged and resolved by the owner.

Amazing property

We have stayed in several homes across the South, however, this was the best place we have ever, EVER stayed. Pantry was stocked with seasonings, Great cookware, and the beds were so comfortable. We will definitely book this home again!!!

Family Vacation-Great Views

Highly recommend if you're looking to stay in the area. House was very clean and everything worked as it should. My family enjoyed the pool and screened porch overlooking the ocean the most. Fenced in back yard and easy access to the beach was great for our dogs. Janel was quick to respond to all of our questions. We enjoyed our time there and have already booked again for next year.

Just amazing

This beach house has a fantastic location, being my family's favorite beach. It's situated in a quiet neighborhood, close to Garden City Pier, grocery stores, and restaurants, but not too close to the commercial area. The house boasts an impressive pool, patio, and private beach access, where we spent most of our time. The house is fully equipped with household items, including a double washer and dryer, and features comfortable furniture, a screened-in porch, and ample amenities. The owner was quick to reply to all of my messages.

Family Spring Break trip

This was the perfect spot for our vacation. My mom who is in her 80s loved the screened in porch. We had 3 teenagers with us and they had reign of the whole bottom level. The pool was clean and we used it everyday. The beach was absolutely pristine. This was a quiet location with lots to do if you wanted to go into town. The hammocks were also a perfect addition to the screened in porch making it a relaxing spot to hangout, read a book and listen to the waves come in. We also watched pods of dolphins swim past the shoreline every day.

Smooth sailing

This was our first stay at Second Sunrise. There were 11 of us and our dogs. The house was clean. comfortable, and cool and had enough towels for our crew. Plus there were plenty of kitchen utensils, pots, pans, dishes, and appliances. Everything worked! I particularly was pleased with the grill - plenty of gas and simple to start. Nice size TVs and a functioning Wi-Fi. We were able to hook up our Xbox and enjoy it from time to time. The pool was the nicest we have had in all our years going, the walk-in end was especially enjoyed. The beach was super, as it usually is in Murrels Inlet. Access to the beach was good and the hose-off set up going back to the pool was very practical and convenient. We're all ready to return next year 😁

Message to Future Renters

I am writing this review as a caution to any future renters of this property. If you were like me, you relied on these 10/10 reviews to make an informed decision prior to finalizing your booking. Heed caution as the pictures are not what they seem. Upon arrival, you will note a run down, tired looking house with an obvious musty smell. The dishes needed to be washed prior to use, we knew it was a pet friendly home but didn’t expect to find pet hair all over the bedspreads and human hair on the "clean" sheets. Despite this initial disappointment, we didn’t complain until we found a dead cockroach in the basement, a live roach in the living room and I was woken in the middle of the night to a roach running across my chest. Between arrival and our departure 21 hours later, we found and killed no less than 6 roaches in the living area. We asked the homeowner for help (as my child has a diagnosed allergy to cockroaches) and she replied that pest control doesn't work on weekends. She offered an early departure then revoked an offer for a refund when we did not agree on the reimbursement amount. This experience was an absolute nightmare and recouping our losses was far from easy. I caution anyone against renting this home. While I expect a homeowner response to this review (likely sharing inaccurate information about me to distract from the real issue), I wish I could post picture evidence in this submission and allow you to form your own opinion prior to booking this home yourself.

We loved our stay at Second Sunrise! Not only was the home clean, the views were stunning from the house. The weather was not in our favor for the majority of our trip so Janel was kind enough to offer some accommodations to help us enjoy our stay fully. The pool was super fun and we loved the beach access. We really enjoyed the screened porch with views of the beach and the coffee area inside. Such a sweet home that can house a lot of family members! Highly recommend staying here! Janel was very attentive and answered all our questions in a timely manner. She was super friendly and we enjoyed renting from her!

Oceanfront Potential, Disappointed by Maintenance Issues

We were excited to stay in this oceanfront property, but unfortunately the condition of the home did not meet expectations. The location and view were beautiful, but the home itself was quite dilapidated and in need of updates and maintenance. Upon arrival, the cleaning lady was still airing out a mattress, which was not a welcoming first impression. The downstairs had a persistent musty smell that made it uncomfortable to spend time there. Another major disappointment was the pool. The listing’s main photo highlights the pool lit up at night, but during our stay the pool lights did not work and there were no other outdoor lights available to safely use the pool area after dark. This made it unusable in the evenings, which was one of the main reasons we booked this property.

Very nice property ocean front! Nicely priced! Easily affordable for a working class family! Well stocked kitchen. Great ocean front area and a pool to die for! Screened in porch was the greatest to relax in. Bedrooms nice. Bathrooms downstairs are a bit awkward but doable! Great week!!

Spring break

Beautiful location perfect for families with little ones away from the more crowded Myrtle beach but close enough to still drive on over for touristic activities. The pool heater worked perfectly and the description and pictures were accurate.

Fantastic stay!

We had another wonderful stay at Janel‘s home! The pool was the kids favorite, they swam constantly during our week there. She has every possible item you could need during your stay, everything was well stocked, and there was nothing we needed that was not provided in the home. The beach access is fantastic, we spent a lot of time out at the beach. We love the location as it’s far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Myrtle Beach but close enough to get to anywhere we wanted. This is our third time staying in this home and we will definitely be back again next year!

Lovely Beach House

Our family - ages 9 to 83 - stayed for a week in Dec/Jan, and overall was fantastic. Highlights: - Kitchen is very equipped, quality dishware, and loved the labelling on cupboards and drawers. - Back porch overloooking pool and out to the beach is fabulous. Comfortable porch furniture, and screened in. - Easy parking / access (stairs to main floor) - 2 washer / dryer - AWESOME for the big family - all the living room / shared furniture was very comfortable and great condition - beach location was quiet, clean, easy to access and enjoy - quick communication when needed with owner Cons (some folks may not find these as cons, depending on personal preference or needs) - beds are very soft and some mattress' some have clear demarkation of left side / right side sleeper - only thing missing in the kitchen is a kettle - main bedroom showers are small (tight) if you are tall or wide

Beach getaway

This is our third time here and we are already going to book a fourth with them. The house is perfect for everyone including our dogs and it’s in a perfect location. The house is clean and as comfortable as our own house. The owner is great and responses right away. We can’t wait to come back next year
