We had a fabulous time! House was spacious and met all our needs. Enjoyed the hot tub and views. Close to great hiking, Black Water falls etc. We will be back :)

We saw a lot of deer, hiked all around the local trails and had a great time! The views of the property are great. We never had any issues that we needed to talk to the property manager about, but the check in instructions and directions were helpful!

Our kids and grandkids say that this was their favorite rental yet. This is my tenth annual labor day weekend at Canaan Valley. At lease the last seven have been with Mountaintop. We have always been please with your friendly staff and good work ethics. We will continue to use Mountaintop for ever.

The views were beautiful, the yard games were a nice plus. I would say that I think enough money is spent on our stay that the soaps can be filled instead of watered down. Every bathroom soap in the house we had was barely filled and what was in it was clearly diluted with water as well. But that's such a small thing that we dealt with it and had an amazing time as a family! I actually never worked with anyone in person since we checked in on a Sunday and checked out at 8 AM, but my emails were answered quickly!

Check in was not as streamlined as other properties we have stayed in during our travels. Inconvenient, but not difficult. Much prefer digital door codes in lieu of having to go out of way to find office to pick up keys. The large cleaning fee was interesting considering the required cleaning list tennants MUST complete in order to not be charged even more cleaning fees. Important to note, this is only the case with VRBO managed properties. The other cabin management companies we frequently stay with are 100% cleaner and do not require tennants to clean the cabin and strip the beds in order to not incur even MORE cleaning fees. Adding a bit more irony to the large cleaning fee charged in advance of the stay was the disgusting state of the water in the hot tub. It was foamy green.

The space was clean, there were plenty of amenities, the beds were comfy, the kitchen was well stocked, and the views were breathtaking. We'll definitely have to come back again soon!
