ACME is a part of the Mountain Serenity Rentals group, an elite group of family-owned properties providing the absolute best of what Angel Fire has to offer. Mountain Serenity Rentals is a small but mighty team started by husband and wife duo Eric and Cheryl in 2006. What began with one house and a small dream has since grown into our true passion: offering families from all over the opportunity to make memories in the mountains in beautiful, clean, up-to-date, and well-maintained homes. At Mountain Serenity Rentals, we intentionally market only a handful of properties so we can provide the highest level of service. We believe you deserve all the things you need for a great stay, and don’t want to nickle and dime you for them. Our homes are stocked with firewood for fireplaces and fire pits, propane for gas grills, detergent for laundry machines, and all the basics for kitchens and bathrooms. If you are ever missing something during your stay, don’t hesitate to reach out! We have gathered a tremendous amount of knowledge over the years, but actively value feedback from our guests so we can continue to improve and provide excellence.

Here are some highlights of the property itself that we know you'll love:

**The home is situated on 3 lots with no direct neighbors and backs up to the forest. Sitting on the back deck or relaxing in the hot tub, you feel like you are miles away from anyone or anything else. (While still being only a few minutes from town)

**The main living space has an expansive open floor plan with a living area, kitchen, and dining room all connected and enjoying excellent views of the surrounding forest. A true winter wonderland when the snow falls and a sea of green in the summer.

**The house sleeps 13 in total across 3 floors and 4 bedrooms, making it perfect for 2-3 families traveling together or one larger group. On the upper floor is the Main Suite with a King bed and attached bathroom, as well as a queen and a king bedroom, each with their own unique design and special touches. Additionally, on the main floor, there is a kid's bunk room with 3 sets of twin-over-twin bunks and a separate twin bed. This room also has its own full bathroom for the younger crowd to share.

** Secluded, but not far away - ACME is just a mile from Monte Verde Lake, 2.5 miles to the Angel Fire Country Club for golf and tennis, and a short 4-mile drive to Angel Fire Ski Resort base for skiing and downhill biking.

**The house is fully stocked with everything you could need for your stay. In each bathroom, we provide linens and towels, shampoo, body wash, and a hair dryer. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the pots, pans, and other cooking utensils you need, as well as paper towels, napkins, spices, olive oil, dish soap, and dishwashing detergent. All you need to buy is the food! We also have a laundry room with detergent provided for the washer, just in case your mountain adventures get messy! The laundry room also has boot dryers - awesome come ski season!

**Our extra large custom dining table is large enough to fit everyone in your group and provide a backdrop for great memories during meals.

**We recommend you have a vehicle with 4WD to access this house in the winter months.

BEDROOMS/BATHROOMS:
ACME Mountain House has 4 bedrooms across 3 floors, 2 on the upper level, and a bunk room on the main floor. The upper-level main suite is expansive, featuring beautiful views, a King bed, SmartTV, private patio, walk-in closet, and an attached bathroom with double sinks. Also on the upper level are two uniquely designed bedrooms, one king, one queen, each complete with a desk and chair in case remote work follows you to the mountains. These bedrooms share a full bathroom with double sinks and a rainfall shower. The main level has a kid's bunk room immediately adjacent to the main living area with 3 twin-over-twin bunks, an additional twin, a SmartTV, PacMan Arcade game, and its own attached bathroom. Additionally, there is a half bathroom immediately adjacent to the main living area. Bedrooms and bathrooms are fully stocked with pillows, linens/blankets, towels, shampoo, body wash, hair dryers, and hand soap.

LIVING AREA:
The main living area is the heart of this home, connecting the kitchen living room, and dining area, with direct access to the back deck. Your group can easily spread out and enjoy all these spaces while still being able to connect while you cook, eat, and relax. The furniture is up to date, modern, and cozy, with a large couch, comfy lounge chairs, and a smaller game table in addition to the extra large dining table. A gas fireplace provides ambiance, while the 75” flat-screen Smart TV allows you to stream your favorite movies and shows. At the rear of the house immediately adjacent to the main living area is an outside deck with additional seating. This area features a dining table and chairs as well as a propane gas grill. The deck is a great place to start the day with a coffee or wind down with a relaxing beverage while sharing stories of your adventures from the day. Head down the back deck stairs (carefully please in the winter months) and you'll find the hot tub waiting for you to take a soak!

KITCHEN/DINING:
Creating and eating meals together is another way to create great memories and Acme Mountain House provides everything you need. Our kitchen features stainless appliances, an oversized island with bar stool seating, a gas stove, oven, microwave, and refrigerator/freezer. Other kitchen appliances include a crockpot, coffee maker (full pot and Keurig), griddle, insta-pot, mixer, waffle iron, toaster, toaster oven, popcorn popper, Ninja blender, and electric skillet. All plates, glassware, baking/cookware, pots, pans, and utensils are all provided. In addition, we have a cabinet with oils and spices to get you started. Also, there is a propane gas grill on the back deck for the outdoor grilling enthusiasts in your group.

Immediately adjacent to the kitchen is a custom-made dining table that is certain to have enough seating for your whole group. Additionally, there are barstools at the kitchen counter if you prefer that seating to grab a quick coffee or snack. On the rear deck, there is also a large dining table that comfortably seats 6 with additional seating for an additional member of your group who might just want a light snack, coffee, or cocktail while they continue to enjoy the outdoors.

ENTERTAINMENT OUTDOORS:
Step outside your door, and the forest becomes your playground, the outdoor deck, an extension of your living room. Take a morning coffee or evening cocktail out to the deck to enjoy and soak in the forest views, or take it up a notch and head down to the hot tub to unwind amongst the trees! Feeling like a walk? You are just a mile from Monte Verde Lake with fishing and boating in the summertime as well as a trail that goes around and connects to the great trail system. Or just kick back on the front patio and play some cards or try your hand at corn hole. No need to wander when the home is so lovely.

ENTERTAINMENT INDOORS:
When you're done exploring or playing on the slopes, head inside and turn on the fireplace. Curl up and watch something all together, or play a game on the living room game table. Need a little time for the grown-ups? Send the kids downstairs to play foosball, or off to their bunkroom to play PacMan or watch a movie on their own smartTV. There is plenty of room for everyone to enjoy.

LAUNDRY ROOM/MUD ROOM:
Sometimes the mountains get messy! But not to worry, we provide a full laundry room just in case. We are happy to provide laundry soap and dryer sheets for your use. Additionally, the mud room features a custom boot/glove/hat warmer/dryer that’s a fantastic addition to make sure that everything is warm and dry and ready for another adventure.

Killing time while the laundry dries? Strike up a game of foosball or send the kids down to have a tournament while you relax upstairs.

ENTRY:
You can enter the home from either the front door or the mud room door adjacent to the garage. Entering the house from the front door brings you into the main living area, so is best suited to summertime when there is no snow or mud to track in. Entering through the mud room there is a large area with hooks for coats, cubbies for hats and gloves, and boot trays for muddy shoes. A boot wash area, as well as a custom boot/glove heater/dryer, are also present for your use. From the mud room, you can access the garage where you are welcome to park your cars out of the elements or store your bikes in the summer months.

PARKING/GARAGE:
When you get to the house, there is a parking pad for your use just off the road, ideal if you are not in a 4WD vehicle. Otherwise, proceed down the driveway where you will find ample parking and a 2-car garage for your use. The garage is equipped with racks for skis and snowboards, as well as plenty of room for bikes in the summer months. Let your gear drip dry at the end of the day without worry - but don't forget to bring in your boots to warm up on the custom dryers in the laundry room.
