This spacious one-bedroom, one and a half bath villa is located in the prestigious, world-class Shipyard Community! This villa complex is close to the beach in Shipyard! Imagine staying in this beautiful 2-story townhome. This golf course-oriented villa is just a short walk down a shaded path to some of the best beaches on Hilton Head Island, Van De Meer Tennis Club, Shipyard Racquet Club, and Beachwalk's beautiful pool and sundeck. You can walk to Sonesta Resort and enjoy some of their restaurants and bar. The beach is about a 10-15 minute walk to Shipyard's Beach Access Boardwalk, and the community pool is right outside your front door.

Just outside the gates of Shipyard, you'll find the heart of the south end... Coligny Plaza. There are tons of casual dining options and shopping that are all located directly across the street from Coligny Beach. Coligny Plaza offers nightly entertainment in the summer for families and adults.

The well-equipped villa is appointed with all of your needs in mind, including cable TVs in the living area and bedroom and a great selection of board games and books for winding down after a day on the island. The spacious main level living area is open and inviting providing ample space to relax or entertain family and friends! The chef's kitchen is ready for all of your cooking and entertaining needs. Tons of pantry space and all the cookware you could need! There is extra pantry space under the stairs in a pantry closet. There is also a cozy table on the back deck outside for morning coffee or cocktails in the afternoon. The BBQ grill is a gas grill and grilling utensils are in the pantry closet. The upstairs master suite with its private bath is complete with a king-sized mattress in the bedroom and ample storage in the closets and dresser. A queen sleeper sofa is located in the living area to complete our sleep-4 villa. Cozy linens, towels, and starter amenities are included with your stay. The full-sized washer and dryer are neatly tucked into a closet in the upstairs hallway!

Beach access at Shipyard Beach is a 5-minute walk from the villa. One beach parking pass is included during Summer Season, and parking is available on a first come first park basis. Shipyard offers a 27-hole golf course, miles of bike paths, and the Sonesta Resort for the perfect family vacation, golf outing, or weekend get-away!

The pool is open daily from sunrise to sunset from April 1st through October 31st. The pool deck is open year round.

No Smoking. No Pets. The minimum age of the primary renter is 25. Please enjoy yourself and treat our home like you would treat your own. Do not take furniture out of the villa or move it from one room or floor to another. No golf carts, trailers, kayaks, or canoes are allowed on the property. Bikes must be secured in the bike racks provided.

Guest Access:
Key code access will be provided in the days prior to your arrival for seamless check-in. Two parking passes will be provided during you stay. Parking pass must be displayed in vehicle throughout your stay in Shipyard.

The Neighborhood:

Getting Around:
The pool, tennis center, and beach are all walkable. Breeze Shuttle is available mid-March through October outside of the Shipyard gate to get you to shopping, restaurants, or the public beach. A parking pass is available for the Shipyard amenities, and the beach has public parking as well.

Other Things to Note:
Bugs
We get asked about Palmetto Bugs all the time. Yes, these are roaches and are found pretty much everywhere outside in South Carolina but we like to call them Palmetto Bugs as it makes them sound nicer! They can be pretty big, can fly and will scurry around the floor but they are largely harmless. They do occasionally come inside, especially at night and during or after any storms. Rest assured all of our homes are professionally treated monthly for pests. Any bugs that manage to get inside will die quickly.

According to Eric Benson, Ph.D. professor and extension entomologist at Clemson University “It has nothing to do with cleanliness or the economic conditions of the area,” said Benson. “They could be around the nicest home or the nicest hotel or resort.”

If you leave the doors or windows open, especially at night, you will likely see a few. This is perfectly normal. If you see 20 or 30 all in one place then please let us know. This might mean we have a nest somewhere in the home and we'll need to get pest control out to take care of it. This is extremely rare!

Please don't worry about bugs, enjoy your vacation. You'll likely not see any while you are here, we just include this note so you understand it's not unusual to see some and it doesn't mean the home isn't well looked after!
